"I don't run to escape anything," Zari said, as Tumaini watched the pair curiously. "I run because I need to. I run because I can't not run."

Tumaini nestled closer between Zari'radi's shoulderblades, his gaze once more on Mana. "She tells the truth. I've never seen her run to escape anything."

Zari turned her head enough that she could give the genet's head an affectionate tongue-swipe, then looked up at Mana again. "If I have a problem, I really prefer to face it head-on." She paused, then gave a feline grin, whiskers twitching slightly with the expression. "Besides, what good does running do? You never really forget your problems, they just sit and fester in the back of your mind, and ruin everything you were trying to do for fun!"

"Good," she stated with confidence, proud of the answer she gave. "Escaping is never good. And I believe you are one who whould."

It was quite obvious, with how she seemed to just say everything that came to her heart. Dangerous if she came across the wrong soul, but good minded, none the less.

"I hope that the wind guides you always, then, Zari." She said with a confirming nod, letting a little breeze pick up around them. Warm, soft gusts that felt almost like a loving touch, if one concentrated on it enough.

Zari'radi lifted her head, eyes closed as she leaned into the breeze a little and exhaled contentedly. That just felt good. "Thank you, Mana," she offered in return, quiet and pleased. "...I hope this won't be the only time we meet."

The golden goddess watched Zari, finding her words to be a little bit of a waste. Mdhamana was never one to leave a kind mortal with no promise for another meeting; not when she enjoyed their company.

"I won't, I can promise you." She said mildly as she gingerly plucked a feather from one of her great, long wings. Sure, it was a smaller one of the feathers, but big enough to fit underneath a paw with room for a little to stick out. "Hold onto this feather, and with it, you can call for me. Anytime. There's no punishment for wanting company."

Stunned by the offer, Zari sniffed at the feather, then took it with utmost care and settled it beneath one paw so she could be certain it wouldn't fly away in the breeze. Somehow, she would have to have it affixed into her fur so she would never, ever lose it. "I'm honored," she said happily as she looked up at Mana again, golden eyes radiant. "Thank you so much! I'm going to have to tell the Jua'nuru all about you, and show them there's more than the sun and moon gods!"

So that was the name of the pride. She filed that tidbit of info into her mind, all the while smiling at the mortal whom was obviously estatic about her gift. It didn't bother Mana at all to give out a few feathers, her heart gaining a bit of warmth in the cold mountain air.

"You're welcome, dear child. Take care, now, and be certain to always keep your heart with the wind."

Wind settled in a bit more on her perch, obviously wanting to stay for abit longer before moving on. Someday, she herself would find what was calling for her, if only the wind would show her a bit more then teasing clues.

"I shall," Zari promised, leaping to her feet and leaving Tumaini squeaking as the genet tried to hold on to her. "I'll become your kahini, I'll tell everyone about you!" With a rumbling purr that filled the area, Zari'radi rubbed her jaw and forehead against Mana's forelegs, then took off, Mana's feather held ever-so-carefully between her teeth like the precious prize it was.

"Farewell," the goddess said quietly, all she said to the excited mortal that had seemingly appointed herself a kahini. The goddess shrugged to herself, letting Zahi do what she pleased. She would never deny a mortal from something they loved, and if Zahi loved the Wind with all her heart, she would be a fine kahini. She has a sweet heart, and it would help her grow, and strengthen her love of the wind.

Mdhamana'kinyamkela would have to visit here again soo, if only to see Zahi.
