I'm going to have to agree with what most of the people here said. Rouge seems to be the most powerful so far; as she owned Amy in Sonic X and has strenght to almost rival Knuckles. In Sonic Battle, she was just plain awesome to play with.

no-one would suspect cream for her innocents. and she has a chao.

Cream with her abusage of Cheese, larger portions of her attacks consists of the little "stuffed animal" as the "Gamma" of Sonic Battle says, namely "air Chao tornado" and ground shot (Forgot the name of it now.). though she can aswell use the standard Sonic attacks as the jump-attack and spindash.
Rouge is good aswell with her annyoing air attacks (I use special air force attacks aginst her when possibility is close). have distance and close combat skills (though she uses close combat more from my experience)
Blaze: can't say anything about her.
Tikal: weak in the fighting department, but have good special attacks.
Amy Rose: The little girl with a big hammer, and some of the basic Sonic-attacks if we count from all Sonic games Amy is playable. have close combat and distance attacks.
If we come to a Battle Royal, Cream would be the one to have a greater chance of winning with her cheap attacks.
Otherwise I go with Amy and her split moves, depending on if we take into account every move tehy can use except the special moves in Sonic adventure 2

Shurimpu Kabobber Podima If Cream had Cheese (What a weird sentence), she would probably win, no contest. But, since the poll only listed Cream, I assumed she would be Cheeseless. So, Amy wins out. Definately. Meh... I vote Cream, hoping she does. If not, then Amy. She's got one big-@$$ hammer. lol

Pah, remove her godhaxx0r chao and Cream is a total wuss. I took great delight in kicking her arse at every available oppurtunity in Sonic Battle.

Rouge is a Slow poke. She Can Fly, and she is a pretty good kick.
Amy is getting faster by the Game, Recently obtained the Spindash and Ball mode, and has a Hammer that Crushes everything in her path.
Cream has the Spindash and Ball mode, and a Chao that Destroys robots on contact with the flick of her finger. She Also has brains, as seen on Sonic X.
Blaze, Mysterious. She will most lilly have the Spindash and ball mode. plus, she would almost have to have speed, being implimented in a 2D side scroller. Therefore, she must be pretty powerful.
Maria should not included in the poll, for it was Shadow who acted out based solely on a misinterprtation. therefor, it wouldn't actually be her, just he grandfather and Shadow.
So, Therefore, my vote goes totally to Amy, who is getting more powerful by the game. and she was the only one not captured/tricked in Sonic Advance 2.
