I think that would be amazing! The release of the Japanese novels (triplet manga) was alright (although all I've had the pleasure of seeing were the covers), but I believe that Kaori Yuki would do a great job. Shojo illustrators and manga-ka would probably present a more complete and accurate profile of the characters.

Hmmm... an idea that's not entirely out-there. I can definitely see it as a live-action movie (although I shudder at the thought of how they would probably butcher the books), so long as you have the right cast and director. As for the anime/manga, again, that depends on the artist chosen to capture the characters. It would probably be easier to do some things visually, but overall, I think it'd be best in a live-action form.

Don't get me wrong, I really love manga/anime... But I can't really imagine Twilight as an anime...
I don't think it should be a movie either... sweatdrop ...

It would be nice to see Twilight turn into anime. But I don't think it's that popular in Japan, so I doubt they'll do it.

As I read Twilight, I thought about drawing them manga-style, just to see what it would look like. xd
Maybe one day I'm not too lazy and too obsessed with reading, I'll do it. xD

The idea of the book as a movie is interesting, but if all possible, I'd want it to be real life. If not possible, realistic 3-D animation.

i don't mind if they end up making it animated or not...i just want a movie about it!! i guess though if i had to choose, i'm leaning more with the non-animated side...

I think that it's like fan art, people are always going to have differing opinions on how Edward, Bella and everyone else looks. So even if they made a movie on Twilight, animated or non-animated, it will still be intresting to watch and great to see something, even if I don't 100% agree with the director's and/or artist's version of the characters. Both ideas sound good to me.

First of all: In some other thread someone posted links to (some of? I don't really know how many there are...) the pictures INSIDE the Japanese books... If you don't feel like looking for that, I'll give them to you whee

Second of all: I just got an idea a few days ago:
Square Enix (the creators of the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts series) should make the Twilight movie!
For the ones that doesn't know them, here are some pictures:

... I know that's never going to happen... They only make their own movies... as far as I know..
... But it would be cool if it did... whee
And I know that if it's going to be anything then it's a real-life movie... But I don't really like that idea that much...
Btw... (I don't know if this really fits in this thread...) Has anyone thought about what will happen if they make movies for all the books and the actors get too old to play the never-aging vampires?
