Aurora Ruthven Umm... I just thought of one thing about this topic. There has to be some international contract that forbids the kinds of things Hitler did to humankind. When I thought about it, it must have been against some international agreement or law. I'm not too sure on this, and if you have some facts against this, please bring them forth, this is just me using my sense of reason. Even if it wasnt against the laws in Germany, there has to be some laws against that sort of thing. Other countries still regarded Jews as people, so international laws dont fall into the category "they didnt think Jews were people". i don't think that was set up until the UN was created... so hitler would probably be grandfathered in

The both of you give me hope, courage, and strength. I even had the nerve to think about wearing a piece of red tape across my mouth that read LIFE in big, bold, black letters on the last day of school, just to make an impact before vacation.
I don't know if a Choicer teacher would pull out a staple shooter or not, but... meh. lol
As stupid as it might sound, to me, in the school I go to, being pro-life is pretty damned daring. And ya'll just make me proud to think the way I do, and I got a huge heart full of Texan gold to thank you with.

wait... it's daring to care more about lives than rights? and i mean, it's not like it's a vital right, the right in question is the right to snuff out that life- it's not free speech, it's not freedom of religion, press, anything. it is simply the right to destroy life, which is a pretty stupid "right" to begin with

everyone knows it's alive- they argue sentience- however, if one is in a coma, they lack sentienct. they cannot be torn apart because of that.
furthermore, as jabberwock said, i believe, by doing that they are descrimintating by age, location and mental status. McDonalds can't do that when referring to jobs, why should doctors be alllowed to when reffering to lives?

It actually went fine until this b***h named "Kathy" said to me "Well you're not going to change any of our beliefs!" and I was all "Uh, 'cuse me, who invited you into this conversation and I'm sorry but I wasn't the one who started it so, good for you, I don't give a s**t."
And she kinda shut up for the rest of it.
But I think that's a wonderful idea. Just one you thought of or is it an actual program thing?

Its an actuale program here in the states. Its an alternate way of silent protest. Instead of swingin aroudn sighns of aborted babies, or shouting an insults, you where a peace of red tape around your mouth with LIFE on the front.
Its in remembrence for those who can't speak for themselves.

and, if not insulting, i would like to take it a step further- a strip across an eye for those who will never see, a strip across the hand for those who will never touch, a strip across the mouth for those who will never speak, and a strip across the heart for the hearts that are broken by abortion
