Jareth looked up from the dusty tome he was reading when he heard what he had long come to recognise as Macy in full tantrum mode. He quirked an eyebrow as he peered over his spectacles at the angry form of the Unigon. Yes he wore glasses, not many people knew it, but they stopped him from going cross-eyed when reading the more intricate spells that liked to move around on the page.
"....Something wrong?" he said, venturing into dangerous territory.

"nothing just shut up!" Macy answered angrily, his arms crossed over his chest as he sat slouched in the lower pit. God was he ever annoyed with that stupid Fae.

"You know." said Jareth tentatively. "Unseelie aren't the friendliest of people, let alone unseelie politicians....if you're angry about what I think you're angry about and I think I'm more than justified in thinking that I'm right."

"oh? and what am I angry about then?tell me all seeing one!" Macy asked heatedly, his ears pressed back in annoyance. Like they did alot, his ears helped indicate his mood, thats probably what made him mood transparent.
He slouched down further, chcuking an empty metal jug at a bunch of Goblins in the shadows when they kept snickering and watching him. Most probably they had heard his conversation with Leoven.

"It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Lord Orczy insulted you." said Jareth "However, he is a guest in this castle and an important member of the unseelie court. I'd appreciate it if you were civil to him, and if you can't manage that then I suggest you don't talk to him at all."

"he's the one who asked me if I was a hussy, or a pet or somethign totally beneath anything! don't tell me what to do Jareth! you may be the king of this realm but you are not such a thing to me!" Macy yelled angrily, standing up and striding towards Jareth.
He stood before him, hands on hips, a venomous glare on his face, one powerful enough to match his tone.

For a moment the Goblin King looked genuinely shocked. He hadn't suspected for one moment that such a subject had offended the unigon, but understood how the others rage seemed a tad stronger than normal.
"Asked you?" he said, regaining his composure, if this was more than Macy said it was then he more than a right to be furious, but at the same time his ward could easily overeact or exaggerate something. "What exactly did he ask you?" he said with a snarl.

"he was telling me he had seen more hardships in life than me and then when I directed him to his room and told him i didnt care, I made sure the goblins didnt try to dump him in the bog or leave him in one of the corridors alone...and he acussed me of kidnapping him.then he asked" Macy took on a high pitched voice, just to further show his hate for Leoven.
"what exactly is your purpose here anyway? are you a servant?a pet?a concubine? it woulnd't surprise me, you certainly dress like one" he finished, throwing his hands up in the air in annoyance. He strode back over to the pit, kicking a goblin out of the way as he did so, he plopped himself down on a cushion and sat with his head on his folded arms. Glaring at Jareth.

Jareth breathed a sigh of relief. The unseelie had merely hurt the other's pride and had not assaulted him or anything. He did his best not to laugh, the unigon really did have a short temper, although he wasn't one to talk. He was also rather glad that Leoven hadn't been intimidated by the other, he had seemed rather shy when he first arrived but obviously the diplomat was made of sterner stuff.
"You're not a whore, Macy, and whoever suggests such a thing is obviously an idiot to think so." he said and after a slight pause he mumbled under his breath "you're not friendly enough for a start."

"I heard that!" Macy yelled defensively,glaring at Jareth, though it was softer than usual, almost playful. He let a smile onto his face before looking away, leaning against the side. he was still annoyed.
"and even if he did try to touch me, you wouldn't give a damn, you're like that" he muttered in almost a whisper.

"Your personal relationships are of no interest to me." said the Goblin King, resuming his place on his throne and flicking through the forgotten book in a feeble attempt to find his place again. "However if someone did have the gall to physically harm you then I would give a damn as you so eloquently mentioned. For as long as you stay herre, you are under my protection, and a King who cannot protect his own kingdom or its inhabitants is bound to come under scrutiny. Which is why it annoys me so when you try to run away."

"stop trying to make me all prissy then! you want me to be like Caspian or Lord stuck-up Orczy?! for shame Jareth! you lock me away and I feel like i'm in a cage just because my parents are dead? I get away because I want to know...whats outside...what everything is like...oh fer christ sake forget it" Macy answered, slumping down so Jareth wouldn't be able to see him in the pit unless he strained to look.

"Somehow I think it would be better for everyone if you weren't like Caspian." Jareth chuckled "One's bad enough. And as for Orczy, I'm sure if intrduced you properly he would realise his error and apologise." he said with a sense finality to his voice.

Macy glared up at Jareth, he was thoroughly not lookign forward to dinner, as the food would most probabaly be something he disliked and they'd be joined but Leoven. He sorely wanted to go get himself lost in the Labyrinth again, a sneaky little grin graced his fine features. Before he masked it under a glare.
"i'll join you for dinner with him, but the stupid little gits you call servants can go get the stupid toff for dinner, as I certainly am not" Macy snapped, getting up and striding towards the doors. He would go get himself lost in the Labyrinth, and then Jareth would have no choice but to ignore the stupid little priss.
He exited and taking a passageway behind a statue started off into a run, until he came to a small intricate carving into the floor. He ebnt down and picking it up jumped into the water-filled passage underneath. The water only reached his ankles, yet it annoyed him that it had flooded. He ran along there until he came to a ladder on the wall and climbing up, pushed the top off to come out into the garden of the wise-man. The guy with a feather-brain and a bad sleeping habit. He climbed out and ducked into the labyrinth paths before he was spotted.
"ah freedom!" he said happily, stretching his arms above his head. He looked around, a happy smile on his face as he started to wander into the actual beginnings of the Labyrinth, to try and find a few fairies. He liked the fairies and they weren't horrid to him so it was mutual. And Hoggle was a funny thing to watch at times, he went past numerous Eyechan until he reached the gates.
Smiling he pushed them open and stepped outside into the dusty wastelands that surrounded the Labyrinth, Hoggle wasn't around so he went and sat by the pond, watching the fairies fritter about. He was wise enough not to touch the water, as Hoggle seemed to like it as his bathroom.
"let's see Leoven try and annoy me now" he muttered, not caring if Jareth gave the Unseelie a bad impression when it came to light the Monarch couldn't control his subjects--well one in particular. Macy grinned almost smugly as he chucked a shiny rock into the pond and watched it sink into the darkness.

Caspian sighed. Oh why oh why oh why was he doing this...? What was possessing him to make a formal visit to his only partial relative..? Why did he put him through this? He had seen far more of Jareth this year than he cared to think about, and here he was going back for more!
It was insane.. he was insane! But then.. he'd never exactly pretended otherwise..
The one consolation he had to hang onto was that it was possible that his friend would be there. That would make things a lot more bearable.. but he had to hope for that
As he approached the labrynth, his ship taking a different route that allowed him to approach on foot he sighed, this place was not somwhere he loved spending him time..but things that you didnt enjoy were somtimes necessary.
As he stepped closer to the entrance to that goddamned labrynth he saw a figure he recognized, well now, this was better luck than he could ever have imagined!
Macy! And he knew full well that the Unigon knew the way through the hidiuos maze far better than most.. he himself would be lost several times if he tried to struggle through it himself..
With light steps, his soft boots making very little sound he stepped closer to his friend, a smile on his lips as he did so. The Unigon was settled by the pond.. and this he was easy enough to spot and cirtainly not far from the path and in a few steps he was able to pause behind him.
"Good Day friend." He stated with a smile,having leant down so his lips were not far at all from the Unigon's ear as he spoke..
"Fancy seeing you out here, I didnt know I was yet within the maze, could it be dear Macy has broken free again..?"
