Arafel
PM your responce to the BKAC mule. Or you can post in your Journal and quote it to the mule =3
Your responce should be a single post that explains a few things about your kinder's past/present and prods you to RP more wether you have been or not. XD You can put as much plot into it as you want, or just RP out how your kinder reacts. (Plots = good, though)

If you have any important notes or changes please include them in the responce.

Its been awhile and Acrasia is growing!
She's finally getting some curves, not that you can see them under all those baggy clothes. Though lately she's been going for a bit more gothic lolita style. Her hair is really long now.

A few changes you need to show in your post:
-Her wings are bigger.
-Longer hair
-Her halo is now floating above her head apparently with thorns.

Acrasia scowled deeply. She was reflecting on a conversation she and Nell had had with Kirea that afternoon. "So, why can't we watch the Ring, again?"

Kirea had looked at them almost patronizingly. "Acrasia, Nell, I'm just not comfortable with you two watching that movie--" she said the words sort of scathingly, "--yet. You're a little young for that."

"But we saw the Birds--that movie about the killer crows."

"Yeah," Kirea agreed. "But firstly, I was there, and secondly, that was done so long ago it's almost comical. They used ketchup for blood."

"And we saw Psy--"

"Shut UP, Nell!" Acrasia interrupted swiftly.

"Psycho?" Kirea guessed. "You two really need to start doing something other than watching horror movies. Especially you, Acrasia."

Acrasia looked peeved. "What are you talking about? I hang out with Nell and the others all the time, we watch Ravyn and babysit her while she's watching Whinny the Pooh and other Disney things, I hang out with Raven and Shiran and Tex, and I read and write..." She paused for a moment, angry.

All she had said was true. Acrasia was certainly not a couch potato. She played with her siblings frequently, albiet in a slightly reserved manner, she babysitted the baby, Raven was her best friend, Shiran and Tex were Ravyn's siblings, and also good friends, and she read and wrote frequently. Her favorite authors were Stephen King and Edgar Allen Poe.

"But Raven, Shiran, and Tex have been away lately." Kirea remarked softly. "I'd be really happy if you tried to make some more friends as well. Acrasia, I see you when you actually -do- go down to the Center. You're hostile, cold, and you don't want to associate with them. I'll make a deal with you. If you start being more social, and keep it up, I'll let you watch almost any horror movie you want."

"Kirea, everyone else is all tulips and daisies!"

Kirea blinked. Nell looked slightly confused as well.

"We have nothing in common. Except that girl Alida--she likes Shakespeare. But you know what I mean."

"Okay." Kirea paused. "I'm revising the deal. You can watch more horror movies as soon as you get a little older, and you can continue watching movies as you do now. If you don't start being a little more social, I'll limit the amount of time you can use the TV."

"Fine." Acrasia snarled. "As this clearly -isn't- a democracy." She stomped off to bed. Kirea shook her head, and glanced over at Nell. "Bed for you too?"

"I guess." Nell remarked. "It's no fun watching movies without Acrasia. Even though she gets annoyed when I ask questions."

Acrasia was slumped on her bed, angry, and suddenly very tired. "I wish I was grown up." She muttered. "Social I can do. But I wish..." She fell asleep promptly thereafter.

*****

Acrasia was awake. But she hadn't opened her eyes yet. Something strange was going on. She opened her eyes, but didn't move. For one thing, her back hurt. For another, the bed suddenly seemed too small. A thought struck her, still staring up at the ceiling, and she almost dismissed it. Swiftly, she pulled herself up onto her elbows, and looked down at herself. The pain in her back left almost instantly, but it was replaced by a pain in her shoulder as her elbow slipped in her shock, and she struck her arm against the wall.

She scrambled to her feet, jumping off the bed, and rubbing her shoulder, while moving somewhat clumsily on longer legs. She wanted a mirror. Where was she going to find a mirror? Kirea's room. Kirea had one of those full length mirrors in her bathroom.

Acrasia trotted down the hallway, staring at her hands and looking down at herself, pausing when she reached the door. Her voice seemed to have left her a few minutes earlier, and she gulped, trying to retrieve it, as she pushed open the door to the bathroom. She took one look in the mirror, and her jaw dropped. She placed a hand on the sink, for support, and gazed in the mirror, studying her new self.

She was tall, all of a sudden, slightly wobbly on longer legs, and her wings were considerably larger. Her eyes were still a garnet color, but her face looked more graceful and angular, less childish, and framed in very long, straight hair, that fell past her shoulders. Her halo was now floating above her head, and was rather thorny. She had no problem with that. Acrasia was suddenly struck by something strange. She pulled her suddenly not-so-loose tee shirt tight against her skin, and was almost instantly confused, and rather taken aback, by the suddenly developed curves.

Speaking of her clothes, those long, baggy sweatpants she'd been wearing to sleep were slightly uncomfortable on her hips--which had apparently also grown--and were very short. She looked down. "I'm not really a capris sort of girl."

The doorknob turned with an audible creak, and Acrasia turned swiftly, leaning against the mirror with her arms crossed over her chest, a genuine grin on her face. The door opened again, and Kirea stumbled in, only half awake. She froze, and gaped, seeing Acrasia there. "Acrasia?" She stumbled backwards, and nearly fell over, leaning against the wall in the hallway. "You grew! Oh sweetie, this is great!"

"I grew, all right." Acrasia remarked, recalling the previous night's conversation.

Kirea's face was blank for a moment, and then she sighed, laughing a little. "I hate irony."

Family Shopping Trip

"God, Kirea, your clothes are huge." Acrasia remarked, holding out her arms to show that the button down, collared shirt, went far past her waist and wrists.

"What can I say?" Kirea asked, sorting through piles of old clothes. "I'm a tall girl."

Acrasia shook her head, rolling up the sleeves of the shirt. "And why is it that you have no comfortable looking clothes? Everything is military this, military that. Collared button down shirts, polos, fancy trousers--"

"Trousers?" Kirea laughed. "Nope. Just regular slacks. Because they're cheap and almost indestructible. Acrasia, I was a base-located Major. All my clothes had to be uniform. And this is mostly my uniforms and variations on it. I have other stuff, though."

Acrasia rolled her eyes. Nell chuckled. She was sitting next to Acrasia, holding Ravyn. "But all your clothes are too small now."

Acrasia looked down at herself, and remarked. "No s**t, Sherlock."

"Acrasia!" Kirea said warningly.

"Sorry. Sorry."

After a moment, Kirea shoved the last pile aside, and sat down next to Acrasia and Nell on the bed. "I've considered the damage." She announced.

Acrasia and Nell groaned. Kirea ignored them. "You need new everything. This is all way too small. New pants, shirts, socks, shoes, jackets, underwear--oh and you may need bras now too."

Acrasia gaped.

"And maybe a haircut, because this is a little uneven."

"I like it. We can get it trimmed if I can get red streaks."

"No."

"No haircut, then."

"Fine."

About an hour later, Kirea, Acrasia, and Nell slumped over in unison at a table in the approximate middle of the shopping center. A large number of equally large bags were collected at their feet. Kirea took out the shopping list. "We've made unprecedented progress." She announced.

"I should hope so."

"We got Acrasia to pick clothes that are not only black, but also blue, burgundy, and brown."

"You made me get the brown."

"That's beside the point. We're also almost done. We've gotten shirts, pants and socks, underwear, and three new pairs of shoes--two boots and one pair of actual shoes. All we need are bras and jackets."

"Can't we do that some other time?" Acrasia asked, very quickly, kicking Nell under the table as the latter sniggered. "I'm hungry."

"We can stop for lunch." Kirea said, apparently not noticing the exchange. "But then we go back at it."

"Great."

Dear Craptastic Diary Thing Kirea Insists I Write In:

I was doing such a good job of avoiding you, wasn't I? Yes. To be honest, nothing really has gone on notable in life other than Kirea sneaking her boyfriend into Gaia and no doubt breaking a few laws in the process. She had a shouting match with someone she called Rid-yan or something like that, and then bought three huge tubs of ice cream for the whole family. It was awesome. Jesiren is actually pretty cool. He told us right away that we could call him whatever we want--Ravvie will prob'ly call them Mom and Dad but he said we don't have to.

Jes has amazing stories that make Kirea go all red, and he's teaching me and Nell and Elias to play with Kirea's sharp cards and how to swear in Ithieralan and stuff. He can also actually cook, which is more impressive nowadays than one'd think. Kirea can't and that should be well noted--as shown that time we had to throw out all the food she made the day Rune and everyone dropped by but fortunately weren't hungry. We saw Tex and Raven and Shiran and Rune and everyone pretty recently. We still need to invite them over now that we have real cooking in the house. Rune has new kids! They're really cute and they hit it off with Ravyn really well. Yvette, Angel, Daimon and Karaya--I think. Not sure of the spelling.

I'm babysitting Ravvie right now. More acutely, I'm babysitting everyone. Nell and Elias are in the back yard...I don't know, knitting or something. (I wouldn't put it past them.) Ravvie is more of an angel than either Nell or I and is sleeping. Rhiannon--also an angel--is making a three thousand piece puzzle that I threw against the wall yesterday when it drove me mad. She's making much more progress than me. Aida and Kieta are attempting to make cookies, and I have the fire extinguisher in arm's length.

Toodles,
Acrasia

Winter Festivities

"I love the winter!" Kirea cried, running outside and twirling around in the snow.

Acrasia looked at her skeptically. "Right. Good for you. I, on the other hand, intend on not getting pneumonia this year." She was serious. The typical ultrashort plaid skirts she was so fond of had been replaced with long, pinstriped, baggy trousers. Her boots and sweatshirt would not be changed. She twirled a peppermint lollypop in two long, pale fingers, and almost grinned at Kirea.

The latter had stumbled, falling facefirst into a snowdrift. Her dark hair was speckled with snowflakes, and she shivered slightly. She was just about to get up when a missile sailed over Acrasia's shoulder toward her, and she ducked, falling facefirst into the snow. Again.

Nell and Elias charged forward, pelting them with snowballs. Jesiren emerged from the house a few moments later, carrying a carefully wrapped up Ravyn.

Acrasia

Okay, so hands down, Ithieral rocks. Mom and Jes took us there on a 'family vacation' whereas actually Mom got called back because she's in trouble with her boss, Commander Vespincci, for not reporting Auntie Eavan who lived with us until the war on Aluen was over. Gods. Politicians are idiots. Except--well, the family. Commander Vespincci and my something-aunt Venn Ravyn took me to the mil. base training ground, and let me and Nell train with them a bit. They let me spar, use the regulation throwing knives, and do some fencing, and Nell got to play with a dull knife and do some energy shooting. But don't tell Kirea, she'll flip. Commander V. said if I wanted a career in the military, I should come back when I'm older.

Then Kirea found out what we were doing and got pissy, so she took us sight-seeing with Venn, who got us into restricted sim-rooms at the old library. I went into the mythology room, and I can say--Ithieral has a pretty nice history. Gaia is better, of course, but you know. Then Venn took us shopping for Ithieralan-style clothes for the dinner my grandmother was hosting for us--Kirea's mom, Schona, who is pretty cool. Ithieral has some interesting styles--even for a who-gives-a-bleep-about-fashion-kinda-person, like me.

Then, Schona taught me the Ithieralan alphabet, and made me memorize the letters, which all attach in a script-like form. It's pretty cool. We had the dinner, which was weird, and spent the night listening to Kirea's brothers tell embarrassing stories about her. I like Ithieralan food, though, even if Nell and Eli hate the spices, so I'm going to ask Kirea to teach me some recipies. Kirea nearly got drunk on her favorite drink, tyroe, when they served it--which is saying something, as it isn't alcoholic--because she hasn't had it in three years. It's pretty good. Vanilla-y.

Yesss. Mom made kivanis for lunch. It's like a cheese and steamed vegetable-filled crusty pastry, except it's not a desert. But it's really good. I'll write more some other time.
