"A meerkat?" Aka froze and snapped to look back at the large female to his left. "She was an insane maned wolf named Takeko.... Isis is my 'daughter' that I adopted for SOME reason or another. Though I couldn't tell you the reason why anymore."
His mane ruffled slightly as he glanced at her paw poking his stomach. He didn't make a response for a long moment before puffing out his belly so it appeared bloated and let out the breath in the same moment.
A laugh, "Yes, I eat enough, though I feed two creatures at once so you'd think I wouldn't." The red and white maned wolf shrugged simply. "Do you?"

"Oh, I see." She said simply, smirking at his reaction to her poking. "Of course I do." She added, snorting a little and then laying her ears back, black tail flicking a little behind her. "Well, she's cute. I like her." She said, smiling honestly and then looking to the tiny creature at his paws. "Isis. Her name's even adorable." She giggled, reclining to her haunches and then staring at Akamichi a moment.
"You're not so bad yourself, I guess. I've seen better looking males. Though I do admire your fur, even if it is a complete mess. Nice looking." She said, quirking one of her brows a little and then flicking her ears forth again.

"My fur? What's so special about it other than that it's red?" Aka stated simply. It was just fur, why did females worry so much about it. "I rarely take baths because I can't swim and I don't bother with my apperance because it's not like I NEED a mate or anything right now. Or at least I'm not looking."
Foot... inserted... into... mouth.
Akamichi blushed completely from his last statement and simply flopped over onto his side so she wouldn't see his white fur darken with from his blush.
"You're fairly pretty yourself, the orange suits you at least." Aka wasn't fantastic with words, he could tell from appearances how things should and shouldn't be, but he just didn't know sometimes how things should be, how things should be worded and such. He was an awkward wolf.

"You should see someone about that horrible case of stupidity you have." She huffed, fluffing up her ruff and shaking her mane. As the mostly black female stood again, she raised her brow at him further. "Shame..." She trailed off, spinning around and making to walk away from him.
Tail swishing annoyedly behind her, Sternklar stalked away slowly, giving him time to at least attempt to make up for his stupid comment before she completely ditched him.

Great... now his emotions swarmed him and Aka stood up slowly to glance after her with his blue eye for a moment.
"I'm sorry..." Akamichi said simply, not one to dwell on words though he was about to force himself to, "I just... haven't really been around a female in over a year thanks to losing my mate like that. So it's been different and I've gotten used to not watching what I say. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. I didn't mean to, those weren't my intentions."
He sat down and looked at both of his feet, keeping his eyes on his two red toes for a moment. "If it's any consolation... I do think you've very beautiful, I just don't have pretty words in my head to make it seem any better than what it is."
Both of his eyes flashed over to Isis who was cracking up as she tried to find worms in the ground and he growled inwardly, reminding himself to crack his 'daughter' a good one later.
