He had only moved a few paced before her and turned around to look at her, listening. Did she realize how stunning she was when she stood that way, the way the sunlight shined down on her made her breath-taking. He took a few steps forward, then paused. She probably wasn't ready for close contact. "It's perfectly logical to miss something. You miss them because you loved them so much. It just shows you still care. Just don't let sorrow eat you up. You've got to enhance that pretty face with a smile every now and then."

His words made sense, thought the last part she wasn't sure if it was a compliment or what it was. She still looked down, not sure how to answer him, how to react. He was being so nice, and she was still being nervous and distant. She looked up at Sumi and offered a smile, "Why are you so nice hmm? When others can be so mean?" she asked almost giggling. She was curious, but he was nice,

Had others been mean to her before? Maybe that explained her nervousness and shy nature. Well, hopefully his silver tongue was doing a nice trick. It seemed to have been working so far with her spilling so much personal information out at him. He didn't mind. He was always there for the ladies. "You are to be treated with the proper respect, lovely. I speak in kindness because I like seeing you smile. As for the others who are mean, they just don't know how to put the proper emotions into action and thus speak rashly."

Kat nodded. Sumi did make some sense, though his large vocabulary kept her occupied trying to figure out what the words meant, but she got it. So tired today she was. She hated being so tired, so cold, so alone. Always alone. "Yes, I suppose your right...I do appreciate the kindness you show towards me Sumi, I do," she said with another definite nod.
Yes, Sumi was nice.

Sumilyth merely waved her gratitude away with a large paw. "Really, Kat, it's no big deal. I never like seeing any lioness frown. Most of all, I would hate to see a new-found friend sad and alone in the darkness." He took a few more steps closer to her, his golden eyes seeming to grow brighter. "Wherever there is darkness, there is also light. Remember that," he said with a flirting wink.
He danced away from her backwards, a chuckle deep in his throat. He wasn't one to always be sentimental and mushy. He couldn't help but laugh at how he had sounded. He didn't know who he was and still he lived his life filled with laughter.

He was...interesting. She smiled and followed after him, though she yawned as she walked along. She felt so tired lately, she didn't like it much. Kat wondered when she should head back to her new secret spot. She didn't want anyone to find it, but she also didn't want to go back when it was really really dark to the point where she wouldn't be able to see anything.
What to do?

He noticed the yawn and raised a brow slightly in question. "Perhaps this is enough chit-chat for one day." He really did not want to leave her side, but she still wasn't quite used to him yet for him to get closer. "Don't you agree, sleepyhead?"

"Yes," she said softly, yawning slightly again. It wasn't that she did not enjoy his company, just she was tired is all. She was very tired usually. She turned her head to look in the direction of her sleeping spot, it wouldn't take long to get there. "Thank you for walking with me Sumi...I'll see you again I am sure," she said with a nod and a sleepy smile.
With that she began to pad slowly to her spot, yes, a good night's sleep would do her well.
She would see Sumi again.

His chuckled sounded like a deep purr before he bowed before her departing figure. "Until next we meet," he said softly, mostly for himself to hear. He turned his back on where she was going, not really concerned on her where abouts. Sumilyth flicked his tail about in thought of what new females the future held for him.
