Amleth turned back to peer at him thoughtfully. At least he was honest, then. She hesitated again, feeling vaguely guilty for leaving him alone there with a very valuable piece of meat.

Amleth sighed and looked at him thoughtfully for a moment, then padded a bit closer. "Where do you need to go?" She asked, tilting her head. "I'll walk with you."

Angaza frowned, and shook his head.
"You go any deeper, they'll find us for sure. ... I'll owe you a favour, though, if you keep it between us. I'm a jackass, but I won't forget a promise."

Ameth shrugged, picking up the gazelle for the last time and padding off towards the edge of the graveyard where her den lay. The hyena could suit himself... and she supposed it couldn't hurt to have a favor from him, though she somehow doubted she'd ever see him again.
"Alright. You might want to clean that leg off in some water, by the way," she said in an offhand manner, offering him one last smile before winding through the bones and out of sight.

Water? Here? Haaaa. Angaza doubted it. The yena flopped down again with his Gazelle leg, munching away contentedly as he though. The others wouldn't notice, right? ... Right?
