Takazawa system malfunction Takazawa American subjects are so complicated. Math II and Honours english and Spanish IV and chemistry III and stuff. It's all stupid. Everything is to the point here. How is it stupid? It helps someone find a class that goes at a pace they can learn well at =/ You have like This I, II, III, IIII and Honours. It's just dumb. You should just sign up for This, and they'll put you in the one they think you should be in based on your grades. What? English I and English II are two completely different subjects that cover completely different areas. Honors does maybe twice the work of a regular class and offers a lot more information on the particular area. And you ARE placed based on your grades, unless your parents override the decision or you decide to take a different class. How is this stupid exactly?

My 9th grade was wonderful. =___= I switched schools right after the first semester, and some of my classes were not counted here, rest were that were supposed to be taken 10th here.
9th: Gym \ Gym Algebra 1 Health Science Honors \ Integrated Science Us Global History Honors \ US Global History English 9\English 9 Buisness\Study Hall Advanced Computer Apps 2
When I switched, the periods I had went from 8 to 9. I also feared Honors. D: I loved honors back at the old place, but that was because the teachers were fun. I never take honors anymore because I'm friggin lazy. Gym is supposed to be taken 1 9th, 1 10th here. There you could take it any old time and I needed a new class so I took both in one year. Everyone in my class still hates me for that. XDD <3 Health is a 10th thing too, I get to skip that.~ They let me into Advance Computer Apps 2 for some reason. I'm happy about that. XD <3 They didn't count Buisness though D: And I learned all of algebra 1 in one semester at my old place and they wouldn't let me test out of it. I'm hoping to at the end of this semester to test INTO Algebra 2, Since they're now at the point that I know everything they're doing. D<
10th: Biology French I Amer History English 10 Graphics I\Graphics II Geometry Aide for Adv. Computer Apps.\Nutrition and Wellness ALGEBRA 2 Study Hall.
I had 2 Study halls this year. One normal, and 1 because I didn't have to take Gym or Health. While everyone else, did. BWAHAHAHAHA. I'm hoping to Drop N&W, because I hate the teacher, and replace that with Algebra 2. If I do, Yay! Wish me luck.
Junior year I want to graduate, because I find going to HS just for English 12 and Senior Project IS RETARDED. So I have no clue what hell my schedule will be.

XD I don't understand the American system either. Everything was just listed by subject name in my old high school course calendar and it told you the pre-requisites (if there were any).
Anyway, in my senior year (that'd be grade 12, right?) I took Biology, Chemistry, Philosophy, Calculus, English, and one other course that I can no longer remember the name of XD.
As for my university courses, first term I took introductory Psychology (part 1), intro biology (part 1), intro chemistry (part 1), calculus (I was failing that course so I dropped it), and health studies (you get to learn about diseases and stuff).
For second term, I'm taking part 2 of psych, bio, and chem, Canadian history, and phsyics. I'm trying to switch physics for history of modern SE Asia, though.

I'm failing everything and in deep s**t with the school, so current and future classes are up in the air. After chirstmas break at the online school I'll most likely be taking English 10 American History Geometry Physical Science Spanish 2 (maybe) Biology
I'm severely behind on credits, so prolly no electives for me. I should check how many language credits I need. I don't think I need more than one, so if I don't, I'll take creative writing. If I do, yay spanish two? -.-
Next year Amer. Gov. and Econ English 10 Geom Bio English 11 Algebra 2 Creative Writing Visual Arts British Lit
That may change. And I'm not sure whether I can take 6 or 8 classes with this school, so yeah.
Oh, and Senior year just for fun.
English 12 World History Senior Earth Science Photoshop Mass Media: Film Popular Teen Lit Project art Senior Space Science Beginning Web Design
Plus 4 extra elective credits from public school. XD without those I wouldn't graduate on time, and that wouldn't be good. Adding those classes, I'll take Drawing and Painting 1, 2, and 3. Photo 1, 2, and 3. Either Ceramics 2 and 3, or sculpture 1 and 2...
I'm smart, but challenged. Like, Einstein smart, but really really really challenged.
OH ADD. OH Inability to learn in a classroom environment.
Monkey makes me feel stupid. Estellio Estel

English I and English II aren't actually realted. English I is introduction to literature, and I'm pretty sure English II is the mechanics of writing or something like that. We're just too lazy to say the actual names rofl
It's sort of the same thing with languages. Spanish I teaches a baisic vocabulary, conjugating in the present tense, and culture. Spanish II teaches actually conversing well in Spanish, all of the tenses, and more culture. They're really not even the same class at all :3

Takazawa I did English, Japanese, Maths, Number Theory, Chemistry, and Study of Religion(It was required, and it sucked a**). None of your English II and Geology VII and stuff. ... The whole English II, III, etc. is just yearly designations, there are also more specific titles for the courses but nobody uses them much because it's easier to just use two words. Honors isn't even related to that. Here's how classes work, at least at my school:
CP2: College Preparatory Level 2 - basically self explanatory, it's a College Prep course that is slower than CP1. CP1: College Preparatory Level 1 - The standard level of courses at my school. A: Accelerated - A faster-paced level than CP1, generally teaches more in a year than a CP1 course would meaning progression through things (Algebra 1-2, Trig, etc.) is faster. H: Honors - Another faster level, generally a full year ahead of CP1 courses and half a year ahead of Accelerated courses. AP: Advanced Placement - College Level Courses, good for College Credit
Um... if you're from Europe then I think you guys call college "university" so yeah...

However, you don't go "What are you doing after high school" "Oh I'm going to go to university!" here, you go "Oh I'm going to go to college!"
