"Maybe I should I put a dating service in this newsletter then?" Richard smirked, then scowled at the piles of paper on his desk. What ever was in drawer was forgotten. He snorted, "Might be better than the actual news."

Shenzi raised a dark eyebrow, a crooked grin on her face. "Dating service? Newsletter? The island has a newsletter?" That seemed like a cool idea. Maybe he could put an ad for her songs or something in there...

Thinking that through, she followed his gaze to the drawers. "Tsk tsk, disorganized, are you přední?"

That word again. "pfedni?" Richard butchers the pronouncation.

Richard sighed at the mention of the state of the room. "Yes, well. Can't say writing about the halloween party puts me in good mood. Really just be degerating into the angry rantings of a grumpy old man." He grinned sheepishly, "Some of them were pretty good rants, I just don't think anybody wants to read them."

"It means 'grandfather' in czech." She said with a cheerful smile. "Fudd-nee" She intoned slowly, in order for him to get it properly.

"Really. Do I even want to ask?" Shenzi asked, raising an eyebrow again.

Richard rolls his eyes at the grandfather comment. "Are you insinuating that I'm old?" He arched a brow back at here. He was purposely overlooking the fact that he himself had called himself an old man just a moment ago.

Richard picked up the mass of papers infront of him. "Well lets say analyizing this place from the stand point of international law inheritly frustrating and depressing excerise. Then running into somebody who actually likes it here when you just want to caused me some consteration." He points at the claw marks in the desk.

"Maaayybe." She said evasively with another laugh, grinning at him. "It's more a term of endearment the way I'm using it, as opposed to accusing one of old age." Shenzi grinned again.

She gave him a sympathetic look when he pointed at the claw marks. "Can't say I know how you feel. I want to know what sort of s**t head actually wants to be here, though." She said, making a face and wrinkling her nose.

Richard loved to spread bits of gossip, "Lady named Bia, got annoyed real fast when I complained about our little glided cage. She didn't not improve my mood in the least." Richard shook his head disaprovingly at the memory. "Not nearly as bad as Zachary I suppose."

"I'll finish the newsletter in a few days I hope. I just have to remind myself it for spreading information and not angry rants. I probably should be prodding people to build that stage too. Just wish the operator was someone more upstanding." Billy just didn't seem like much of a pillar of the community type to Richard.

Shenzi rolled her eyes; people were always mentioning these names she didn't know. "Who's Zachary? Some lapdog for Sabin?" She asked, propping herself up on her elbows.

But what he said next definately caught her attention. "Stage? There's a stage?" Her ears almost perked up at that; as is, the feathers certainly twitched, or at least seemed to.

"Hmpf. Zachary is a the red dragon man with an anger management problem. He believes himself better off a creature of Myth than he was as a man." Richard unconiously rubbed his chest where Zach had lacerated it. He took it away when Shenzi perked up about the stage.

He chuckled at her enthusism. "Well there isn't one yet. Gaius is building one at the request of Billy. Don't you read the bulletin board?"

"Dragon?" Shenzi recalled Gaius mentioning something about a dragon. So there were three made up combinations, counting herself. She had noticed the scratching at his chest, but figuring it was just and itch, she made no comment.

"Bulletin board?" She looked quizical, a frown wrinkling her forehead. "Don't know of any bulletin board. And who's Billy?" She'd heard mention of him before, too, but no one ever said who he was.

It appeared Shenzi wasn't the most observant teenager in the world, Richard shrugged and crossed his little arms while his tail lashed playfully. "The Bulletin board to walk by every day when you go to the cafeitera. Gaius and I built it." He grinned, "I was attempting to help the community orginize abit." And it actually seemed to be working some. "As for Billy, he's the octopus man down by the lake. If you go see him to audition, I would recommend bringing somebody with you. He seems slimy in more ways than one."

Shenzi stuck her tongue out. "Nyeh, I don't look at posters on a big block of wood." She said, raising an eyebrow, until he mentioned the octopus man being a slime ball. "Really. I think I've dealt with worse in the city. But I'll keep that in mind." Shenzi laughed softly, already thinking of when she could make a run down to the lake.

"Oh of course, young un's like you have to put their advertisements in places there not supposed to be. Like graffity on the side of building or paste posters all over somebody's poor car." He chuckled. "Heaven forbid you put an ad where its supposed to be. Nobody will see it there."

Richard had forgotten about his troubles for the moment as he teased the young griffen to be. He leaned back againist his desk and stretched, yawning very much like a cat.

Shenzi made a face again, rolling her eyes at him. "Yeah, sorry to say, I wasn't one of the graffiti people. I left that to Banzi and Ed." She gave him an impish grin. "Oh no, it's like the shock of finding your coat in the closet! Now who put it where it's supposed to be?" She laughed merrily, a warm smile on her face.

Richard smirked as Shenzi laughed, shaking his head in mock disapproval.

Richard's body, now broken away from its week of tense anger had begun to remember needs that had been somewhat neglicted. A loud gurgling noise from his midsection reminded him that it had been at least two days since he had eaten last. He looked down at his stomach.
