A brief glint of the icy coldness from earlier flashed in Ladius' eyes as she was spoken to, but only for a moment. "For starters, never refer to me as 'your' anything. You might use the term out of habit, but I assure you I'm entirely my own Soquili. That said, my name's Ladius. A pleasure, Arro."

"Ah, my apologies. I'm a creature of habit, and I was attempting to use manners." he bowed to her, pulling his left foreleg back and dipping his head, showing her respect. He rose again, and nodded. "Pleasure to meet you as well, Ladius."

"Well, that sort of manners is the sort that'll get your a** kicked...Arro." Though the threat was thinly veiled at best, Ladius' smile was pleasant to let Arro know that she wasn't completely ferocious...just mostly so. No need to be overtly antagonistic, after all.
Having satisified herself that she'd made her point clear, the dark mare tossed back her braided mane and eyes the stallion curiously. "So, what was the whole point with the tongue thing? Since I hardly think you planned on getting your tongue stuck to the ice..." Hopefully.

Arro nodded pleasantly at her. "I'll keep that in mind, then."
At her question....his ears swiveled back in embarrassment. "I...I'm not too sure. I guess I was just caught up in the joy of the snow, and I licked the ice. I...I didn't know it'd get stuck." he admitted quietly, a blush highly contrasting against his turquoise cheeks.

Joy of snow? That was a new one. Ladius couldn't help the smile that was now playing on her lips; this stallion was one of the most amusing she'd met yet, now that she'd determined that he was less than a threat to her pride. Hell, that was putting it mildly! He was almost like a child, his mind was so innocent...
"Well, hopefully you learned your lesson; you never know when some evil and cruel-hearted foe might come along and take advantage of you when you're in a weakened state...or stuck to ice." Man it was hard to say that with even a semi-straight face.

Although she kept a straight face, Arro laughed whole-heartily. "Evil foe? Hmm.." he thought for a moment. "I don't think I have any foes. I don't know anyone...who doesn't like me." he turned his head to the side, like a dog would to it's owner. The after a moment, he shook his head and regained his stature.

Doesn't have any foes, eh? Ladius couldn't help the one brow that arched up to her ears at that remark. Either her companion was utterly and completely daft, or else he was such a goofball that no one took him seriously enough to dislike. Or maybe he had the prudence to simply avoid those that WOULD find his attitude obnoxious, it was difficult to say given the short amount of time the two of them had been aquainted.

Arro flicked his eyes, and simply smiled at her. Arro's constantly changing demeanor made him appeal to many. Suddenly his ears swiveled back and pinned against his head.
"No..wait. I take that back. I do have a foe." he said quietly, his eyes narrowing a bit at the thought.

There, that was much more realistic. Buoyant or no, the world was full of enemies; very opportunistic for everyone, equal opportunity for problems and danger. "So, you do have a foe after all, eh Boya? I thought as much, since everyone has to have some sort of enemy. So since such is the case with you as well...you should watch yourself.

In response to Arro's thanks, Ladius merely raised a hoof. "No thanks are necessary for common sense, Boya. And what does it matter what it is that I do here?"
The dark brown eyes that met Arro's were clear and focused, the gaze of one that is uses to dealing with all on equal terms. The fact that she enjoyed testing those she met also figured prominantly into this little ritual; she loved to see how those unuses to sch behavior reacted. And it was so fun to watch them squirm...
That said, she wasn't unreasonable. She wasn't out on any business in partcular, actually; she just liked to be difficult from time to time!

Arro stepped back a few steps. "It doesn't. I was just curious, is all." he said quickly, but kept his pose in a strong, but not-threatening posture. He didn't know WHAT to do with this mare. She seemed angered when he was strong, and annoyed when he was vulnerable. It made his head hurt trying to understand mare logic.
