I would be voting for Kerry, if I were old enough to vote. I personally despise Bush's environmental policy (or lack thereof), and I don't like a lot of other things about him. He just gives me the heeby jeebies in general biggrin

My school had a mock-election thingy yesterday. The 8th graders went on this website and selected which candidate their voting for. I think other schools in the country are doing it, too.

hehe true about the enviromental program, but Kerry's wife scares the crap out of me, she looks like an overbaked prune. I don't really like either, it's one scum bag or another to me, ut the whole GoodLatte things cracks me up.

Well, living in Texas, it's really not like voting for Kerry is going to do much. I hope he wins (and I might have to move to Canada if he doesn't) but I really love Nader more. Besides this really cool guy gave me a "Write in Nader" pencil at this peace concert I went to...

The results are 47% Bush, 53% Kerry.

Im a canadian scott, so i cant vote but i really do hope that Bush wins. I live in BC and he continually is dragging down Our economy by not paying for the lumber we have sent him, not only that he threatens us with tarrifs and claims we owe him as he fights the war of terrorism for us. Also any man who ignores the rules of the UN is bad in my book, he broke the very rules that were put in place to ensure peace and order, He has done the same thing Mussolini did when he attacke dthe ethiopians went against the league of nations.

I agree. I hate when people say any one but Bush, but don't have any reasons for saying that. But you do, so that's good. I agree that Bush isnt really capable of running his country, but I'm not so sure Kerry is either... sweatdrop
They're both tricky and giving out false info. I've watcher all debates, and been studying their platforms, but it really seems more like a cat fight then election to me

I can easily explain why people dont want Bush but i wont explain inless it is asked

I know I already posted my opinion in here but oh well... lol... I don't think that Kerry is the greatest person ever, and I certainly don't think his wife is wonderful either. But I believe in progress and change and I don't think Bush deserves another four years in office. I can't vote this year, but I have been studying up on both sides... I can see why some people are confused about who to vote for. For instance, both candidate's websites feature childish displays of invective and radical accusations regarding the other (Bush's site even has a cartoon game that makes fun of Kerry, which I found both amusing and aggravating). So neither campaign is approaching the election in what I think is a constructive manner. But if I could vote, I would vote for Kerry nonetheless, for reasons stated above and in my last post as well as others. Sorry if this post is sort of rambling and confusing; I hope it is at least somewhat understandable. biggrin
