Victor walked down the path with Colche, listening quietly as the sound of the ocean became noticible, the beach still was hidden by the thick jungle, but they had to be close.
"Yeah I'm a make feel better doctor" he explained and smiled "Well I don't know if I'll be able to finish learning to be a doctor, I still have alot to learn." Victor wasn't sure he wanted to learn anymore about the human mind than he already knew, Victor had no desire to understand what logic or reasoning Dr.Moreau used to justify him changing people into animals. The thought caused a small shiver to go up victor's spine.
"You're learning to read? thats very good Colche, whats your favorate story?"

Colche tilted ehr head, it was her personal greatest desire to learn to read, just to learn really, so that she could be more lie everyone else. "hmm I likes Sheep pig!" she grins, the latest book she had been reading was alot of fun.
"heeh you good doctor" she grins "Makes Co..me..feel good!" she giggles and nods an affirmative though she had to stop ehrself from saying her name she'd corrected herself in time.
her ears percked and her nose twitched at the salty tide rushed to her damp black nose and she puurred. "nearlly theer" she smiled softly her deep blue eyes smiling. The beach was her most favourite place in the world.

While Victor wasn't sure what 'The Sheep-Pig' was he was sure it was a children's story of some sort, and was glad to here that he made Colche 'feel good'
"Thank you Colche, thats very nice of you to say" Victor smiled a bit wider, things were certainly better now...and supposed that he was Colche's friend now? if there was one thing that was important in the world, it was to have friends. He was very glad to be going to the beach, the sun, and the company made him feel better.
"Can I ask who your mommy is?"

Colche smiled brightly, a little nod tilting her soft furred head before she spoke. "Aubrey,s eh lives up" she points towards the labs and smiles. "Busy lately, no time" she smiled half wistfully and padded onwards forgetting her minor woes in liu of a new friendship.
She knew the way to the beach very well, and her foot paws took the path easily as she went her perfect blue eyes scanning for anything new, anything interesting. She knew theer were always new things about, like victor for example. She wondered whistfully what he would become, but let the question remain in her mind. Some people just wern't pleased to hear that question after all, she'd learned that the hard way.

Victor nodded quietly as he walked along, and raised an eyebrow when he heard Aubrey's name, was it the same Aubrey that Chubbs had told him about? If it was it was, it was a little shocking that she could have changed her daughter into a cheetah, but Colche didn't seem upset and Chubbs said Aubrey was the only real nice person up in the labs.
Victor walked along beside Colche, moving behind her when the path became more narrow, but soon they were there. "Very nice spot Colche"

Colche smiled and nodded, placing the basket on the ground she pulled out a big, red and white picknic blanket and layed it down upon the sand. She sat, cross legged and opened the basket layign everything upon the checkered sheet. She smiled at the young man and gave a short happy little nod as she ate, happily eating a bit of everything together. Colche had never really gotten the idea that you didn't really eat tuna fish and apple pie in the same mouthful but she didn't seem to mind.
It wasn't long before she was on to the chocolate cake, which she ate on it's own with a serene smile upon her maw. and once that was polished off, she yawned and stretched, her long tail stretching with her arms. "lil nap" she smiled cuddling down ont he blanket with a wide mouthed, fangy yawn. "nap now" she puurred, her body curling in to a tight little ball as she let her perfect blue eyes drift close, her ears twitching softly with the sounds of the sea.

Victor sat beside Colche on the blanket and smiled back to her, dispite not feeling all that good. The cheetah girl was really sweet, and watched her curl up into a ball to nap. Victor stayed there for some time, listening to the ocean breaking on the beach, but eventually decided that he should go, even with the sun he still felt sick, and really ought to get back to his duplex, and get some rest. The day was getting late, and the air was getting cooler, and strengthened that feeling of sickness. with what Victor knew, Colche would be alright if he left her alone, it was fairly safe on the island.
Victor sat with Colche for over an hour while she napped before slowly standing up, placing everything she brought with them except the blanket into the basket, before heading off back to his duplex.
