i love german sheperds! my grandma had one who was older than me, and when i was a baby she would lick my face and wag her tail when she saw me. i would feed her dog food from a spoon, and i'd give her little bits of chicken every once in a while. i loved lady! she was so sweet! i haven't known a single german sheperd that wasn't as nice as lady. They are so nice! i don't get why people hate them, i love them!

Those are when he was a year old, To a year and a half old. Now he's 2 years old. ^^ <3 He is sooo cute. Dont be mistaken though, He isnt a nice dog. He isn't good around people, We've tried everything to make him like people, and The stuff just doesn't work. I can't even walk him, he pulls way too much with his strength, so we took him to a park and took pictures of him, and we thought if we would have done that, he wouldnt have pulled us too much. Also There was no people there, Thank god. I walk him very late at night if so, at like 1 a.m in the morning, when no one is outside, and No dogs. We've tried everything, he just isn't nice like we thought he would be, when he was 11 months old, This boy probably in his pre-teens asked if he could pet My dog, and he was with 3 other boys. He asked if he could pet storm and I said, sure, but don't make any sudden movements, because were still training him, and he might try to attack, so they come up and storm acts normal. I was feeding him treats for him to be good, and teaching him to learn to sit when someone wants to pet him, and he did, So I thought everything would be cool, and well the boy took his hand and started petting his head, and told me that Storm was very big, and very pretty cool looking, and one of them wanted to go where ever they were going so he walked past the side of the dog, and the dog went bizzerk, and Attacked the boys leg (the one that was petting his face) and wouldn't let go, Thank god the bite wasn't that bad, but I apologized, and pulled back storm and started saying "No" at him in a sterm voice jerking his leash, and Told him that he was a bad dog. He has had his shots. He's still a puppy now, If you consider 2 years old. He just won't calm down enough to like people. He doesn't like runners, he doesnt like people who ride bikes, people that walk up to him, like one day we were in my mom's ford explorer ( a while back, when she had it ), My mom went inside, and I opened the trunk door, sat down in the trunk with my back turned against the other way, So I couldn't see if anyone was comeing up from behind me, and then I was putting his leash on and someone walked up from behind me fastly, like they were in a hurry and my dog jumped out of the truck and growled viciously like he wanted to kill the person, pulling me really ******** hard, and if i hadnt had snapped the leash in place, and had it in my hand, he would have hurt that person really really bad, but I pulled so hard, and said "Storm NO", I started talking to the person, and said "sorry about that, he got startled, he was just trying to protect me, because he thought you were a person Trying to attack us, and if had of known you were behind me, we could have avoided this incident, I'm very sorry" and then I told him to go the other way around the car next to the ford explorer. We love our dog so much We take him everywhere we go, even up to stores, well we went up to the store because my mom wanted to get some icecream a while ago, and when we got back, luckily we saw a person, my mom parked her dark blue ford explorer, and backed up and the person had a dog, it was like a shepherd mix, it was orange, very pretty cool looking, my dog went crazy in the truck, he started barking really loud, and scratching up the window where the trunk is, and wanteing to kill that person and the dog. I just don't know what to do, He's really mean, and he hates people. We are still trying to get him to like them but things just wont work, we sort of gave up. Now the ppl I used to hang out with in my neighborhood, are too afraid to go near my house, or in my backyard, because the dog is there, one or the other. There afraid my dog will attack them, and were on a budget, we dont want to pay dog trainers because its too much, and we both want to train Storm ourselves. We want the dog more accustomed to us, rather then the dog trainer, and stuff. He just doesn't trust people. Storm, wasn't abused, or anything. We bought him at a dog breeder, and we have his papers. I've never hit him or anything, I guess we kind of just let him protect us and do his own thing. Everyone is afraid of my dog and thinks all german shepherds are mean and nasty >.< , Others think my dog is a police dog, because he looks like one. About the Collars, as mentioned earlier with a former friend on gaia, we dont use a Prong Collar, like she suggested. We have this Collar, that is Like a Muzzle, but isn't, it this leash, I don't know how to describe it, That goes around the mouth, That makes it so he Cant Open his jaw and Bite, and It gets harder the more wilder he gets around people. Thats what we've been doing for the past Months. Doesn't seem to be helping though, and We dont want to use E-Collars (electric collars) as too someone else's advice, I think they're Too Cruel To the Animal, Very Very Cruel. I Dont want to Shock my dog, or make him freak out for a second, I'm not into that s**t. We've been using The Strong Stern Voice, and It Doesnt seem To be helping. He does what he wants, A Very Tough Muscular Dog. Storm, He's A great dog, He doesn't have any other bad habbits like Drinking out of the Toilet, or Tearing/ripping up furniture. Not to mention, There was this one inncedent where some "African American Guy" ((dont meant to be racist)) was on my Front yard, my mom and I thought he had been drunk, and he was intoxicated, and was knocking on our door, and s**t, and being really weird, and he kept putting his hand near the Window where Storm was and Tapping it, and Well my dog physically, Broke The freaking window, going Crazy (I'm not kidding) and if my mom and I hadn't been there, he would have bled to death, there was Blood everywhere! On The kitchen floor, On the Wall, On the Carpet! He Had broken the window to the Kitchen, because he was going crazy, and Almost got out, but I grabbed him and there was glass in his muzzle and mouth, I pulled them out, and Immediately put his face in the Toilet bowl to make the blood stop, To freeze it, and He seemed to be doing well, and wiped off the blood, and Then we took him to the Vet, and got pieces of Glass pulled out and s**t, I Thought he was Gonna die, but my dog had scared the Black guy away, He took off, Ran off, after my dog was wanting to Kill him. Ever Since Then We hadn't had an inncedent Like that, Nothing that Gorey, and Sad. He Just Doesnt like People. That was back then when we lived in the Town house. Now you'd think today he'd have scars and stuff all over his mouth, he don't, he's in good shape, maybe a little fat, like 150lbs, but as far as I know, He's Got no Scars on him, Like Most dogs would have. When we 1st got him, he was pup, that was Sort of an explorer, and wanderer, and was almost aways, away from his litter (playmates), and mother, he was rather quite Active. Thats what the breeder had mentioned. He hasnt been with Other dogs His age, or Puppies. He didnt do good with them, He was vicious around them, after a few months we Took him away from his mommy and Litter. Does anyone have some Advice for my Dog?! I'd appreciate it so much if you could give me something to try for a new Change. =D

I love German Sheperds, they are beautiful, protective dogs that will protect you in need. They are friendly and are so intelligent!

My grandma used to have a female German Sheperd and she was so loyal and protective over my grandma and grandpa. They had her for 8 years and it was very sad when she had to be put down because of her feet and hip.

Awe...theyre all so adorable! i love german shepards, except the last one i had died a few years ago and i dont have the heart to get another one...i loved sarah very much... heart crying heart
