Ankita jumped slightly when she heard him talk, snapping her out of her daydreams.

"OH, uhh..." she shook her head. "No, not really. I guess I'm used to being in front of people. Unless.." She turned to him, raising her eyebrow slightly. "I have a reason to be nervous." the comment was half joking, but it hadn't really crossed her mind as to what she was exactly going to be doing.

"Naaaaaaaaaah," He waved a hand, shaking his head. As far as he knew, she didn't. "Oi've been practicin'... so Oi don't think y'got much t'worry bout." At least, not that he was going to SAY in front of her. He'd been working with the whips for a very long time, and he trusted himself to use them and do the tricks he planned on a person without trouble- that still didn't take the element of 'trouble' out of it. Things happened, but he was confident that he wouldn't hurt her.

"Ah, there it is." He moved ahead, pulling the door open with a grunt. It felt like it hadn't been rifled through in a while the way the door stuck. It smelled like mothballs and old fabric... but it wasn't that bad.

"Oi sorta found a few things... but oi'm not sure whatch'ya preferences are in costumes." He smirked, glancing toward her.

Ankita laughed to his response. She found some strange comfort in the fact that she couldn't see what was coming.

"Oh, I've no real preference," she said nodding, "I'm sure what you've picked out is very good." For a while now, the only kinds of costuming she had worn were her Saris. She was interested in wearing something new, or, at least somewhat.

"Alright, Oi got a few things picked out already that'd work with what oi got." He climbed into the trailer, dissapearing for a few moments. The sounds of rummaging around and the occasional nondistinctive curse word in a thick accent were the only sounds for a few minutes. Charlot reappeared a few later, taking Ankita's hand and placing a sack of costume materials in it.

"That 'as a few things. Pick the ones y'fancy out of em." He hopped out of the trailer. "Y'can change in there, I'll guard th'door."

    wink

Ankita picked at the clothes, noticing that none of them really involved wrapping a piece of fabric around. She wasn't quite sure how this was going to work out but she had to give it a shot.

There were fumbling sounds coming from the trailer as she tried desperately to do it all herself. Unfortunately, it didn't take very long before she found herself frustrated and grunting. Her shoulders dropped, half in an outfit with arguably nothing in the right place. She paced back and forth for a little while, trying to figure out how to get herself out of the situation and decided to give in. Slowly, she opened the door ajar, looking incredibly embarrassed.

"Uh..." she said very quietly. "I... I think I need a bit of help." her sentence became more mumbled as she spoke.

Charlot was leaning against the tailor outside, smoking a cigarette as he waited. He heard the various noises, one eye open slightly as he glanced toward the doors. He wondered if she was alright...

When he heard the door open he shifted, glancing over toward the crack in the frame where she was peering out a little. "Oi, y'aright?" At her words, he couldn't help but smile a little. He dropped his cig, snuffing it out before moving back up the stairs to the door.

"Sure, n'problem." He walked in, closing the door behind him. "Hmm, bit dark in 'ere." He turned around, spotting the silloutte of a lamp hanging from the ceiling. He paused to light it, then turned back to regard Ankita. ".. 'ow far'd y'get?"

He tilted his head, looking her over.

Ankita began to blush slightly and shrugged. There was a reason why she kept to her Saris. They were simple and easy to maintain. A pin here or there, and wrapping it was probably the easiest to do. But these clothes were by far alien to her, so she really had no idea exactly how far she got with them. Though she'd assume she didn't get far at all, and was likely in the negative range of progress than the positive.

"Uhh..." She laughed nervously. "Funny you ask, cause.. I'm not quite sure." She winced slightly, trying to keep whatever top she had on covering something, no matter how wrongly put it may be.

"Well, jus' keep y'ands where they are." Charlot stepped around Ankita, facing her back since well... she wouldn't be exposed this way while they figured out how to get her into the costume.

"'m be'ind you, so you can relax. Oi won't look." He glanced around for the bag, sifting through it for a few things before setting those nearby. "Alright, y'almost got the shirt on. I'm gonna 'elp turn it round, okay?"

He placed his hands onto the back of the material, shifting it around slowly until the back of the corset was fixed. He tugged the undershirt around, adjusting it so it managed to cover all the important bits before he moved back to her front.

"There, much betta." He looked up. "Comfortable?"

Ankita took a deep breath, feeling slightly embarrassed at how quickly he managed to fix things in comparison to how difficult they were for her. She nodded at his question.

"Why do they have to make clothing so complicated?" she laughed nervously, trying to alleviate her embarrassment.

"Oi figure th'more complicated it be, th'better lookin' it turns out in the end-" He cocked his head to the side for a moment. "Oi believe oi was right. Y'look better than oi do in me own costume. Oi think, y'might be stealin th' show."

He offered her the tiny little hat that went along with it. "That sort'of matches th'one I've got."

He waited to see if she was had a handle of it and moved to collect the rest of his own costume. He wasn't worried out stripping infront of her, because A> She was blind, and B>... he wasn't modest.

Ankita began to fidget once she was into her costume, trying to adjust her breathing to work well with whatever contraption it was that she was just squeezed into. Her hands kept rubbing across her stomach, feeling the corset and grunting at it.

She blushed at the compliment and nodded her head slightly to show her appreciation, but her distorted smile spoke otherwise. Who in their right mind would wear this thing? Unless they clearly had it out for themselves. Taking the hat, she felt around it and raised eyebrow, "Is this for Sarava or for me? 'Cause I'm not too sure this'll fit..."

Charlot glanced up with a frown, half-way into the costume pants he'd found and fancied.

"Uhm, it's for y'ta wear." He grunted, a scuffling sound following as he shimmied into the pants and slid the suspenders up over his shoulders. "It's just a small hat... oi guess people consider that the fancifal costume part."

He was no costume expert... he just thought it was a nice addition to the outfit. Charlot let out a sigh, looking around for the jacket and tie he'd found.

"If you don't fancy it, maybe S'rava might look cute in it too." biggrin

Ankita simply lowered her head in embarrassment, putting the hat on her head. She felt embarrassed at the change of his tone, fidgeting with her fingers.

"No, hehe. I'll wear it."

Charlot was quiet after that. He dressed quickly, gathering his things and heading to the door.

"Ready? Last chance t'change y'mind about that get up." He pushed the door open, sending a ray of light in and casting a warm spot across the floor. It was hotter outside than it had been before. The clouds must have moved away.

Ankita frowned and began playing with her curls during the silence. She seemingly muttered an apology under her breath, he must have been already stressed about the performance, and her whining must have annoyed him.

"No.. it's good." she smiled half-heartedly, hoping to ease the mood.
