Chath suddenly felt alone in his head. It was a relief, but also a bit lonely as well. He had gotten use to haveing someone there. A month? Yikes, that would fly by before he noticed, he better practice extra hard.
"Sir, you said doing this would drain my energy....just...how much? I know when i practice fighting i can regenerate wounds more quickly than an average person, but I am not sure if that is helping improve my stamina. " he continued feeling for once a bit vunerable about the subject. what good was a hero if he ran out of energy too fast? He could imagine himself collasping just in the midst of rescuing someone and a flush spread on his cheeks.
"Sir, I am sorry about being late for your first class, I didn't mean to make a bad impression. I will try my best to make it up to you." he started and then trailed off now sure where to go from there. "Um is there some sort of punishement I could work off? clean the classroom? Anything?"

Thomas looked up from the desk, slowly taking one of the papers and settling it in front of him. A quill was dipping itself in ink, getting ready to scribble down Thomas' thoughts on the tutoring session. Every parent would get a review of the child's work. "Hmmm..." He looked down to the paper, allowing the quill to scribble over it, "It will drain your energy more the less you work with it. It'll be your spiritual energy so you'll feel completely deprived of motivation if you exhaust yourself, you may even simply fall asleep so I wouldn't go beyond your limit." He looked up a bit, "The trick is defining that limit for yourself. When you feel tired- stop. Rest, then return to your studies."
The second question caught him off-guard though through his guarded emotions it was difficult to tell, "You wrote your essay did you not? Don't be so quick to punish yourself." He waved a hand to the door, "Now if you'll excuse me."
