Kat was sat on her living room floor. Danni, her kinda bio-logical son, was sat inbetween her legs as he still couldn't manage to sit upright. Tobi was sat oposite him playing with a few toy cars that Ali had gladly given up.
The other two children of hers where.... Somewhere... Damian was most likely reading that book with no writing, and Ali was probably trying to bother him... Or vice versa...
Tobi seemed to be settled into the family fine, seeming as Damian, the Chaos Child, was... Scared of him? Danni saw him as another brother so it didn't fase huim, but Ali seemed... Distant and had just given his two favorite cars up to Tobi... Maybe Ali was feeling left out? He was the oldest of them all... But un-age-able...
Who knows.. Hopefully they'd all get along...
"Dr....gan." Daniel said absentmindly blowing slobber bubbles.
Tobi watched amused, as Danni blew bubbles with his mouth. It looked fun so he gave it a try. Gather slobber in mouth... Open mouth... Blow... Eww... Dribble... He whipped his mouth on his arm and huridly crashed the two cars together with violent force.
Kat grabbed a few tissues, wipped both there mouths and sighed. "Who ever said parantage was bliss needs to be shot."

CRASH......
Scream......
"NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
A door slams.....
A gun fires.........
A sobbing girl sat at a window, she has a cat tail and ears and in one arm she hold a black and white spotted teddy shapped like a cat. The window is smeered with blood.... "Daddy!" The little girl wheeps.Kat sits up in bed, a cold sweat drips off her forehead. Her mouth is open to scream, but nothing comes out. Her eyes a wild as she dives out of bed clutching to herself the exact same teddy, but now rather worn. Kat races out of her room, its still dark. She pounces in on Ali and Damians' room... There still sleeping, she moves on down the hall way, her heart racing. Danny's room... He's sound asleep... She keeps walking... Tobi's room. He's- No... Tobi's bed covers are thrown back... Theres no Tobi, the quiet and mysterious child in sight..... Something tugs on her nightie.. Jumping Kat whirls around to see Tobi clutching at the hem of her dress. His bright blue eyes staring at her curiously. A releaved sigh escapes from her lips as she scoops him up into her arms and hugs him. She walks over to his bed and lays him down. "Good night Tobi." She kisses him on the forehead and covers him with the sheets. As she gets to the door to go back to her bed she hears a soft voice behind her. "Nih Marm."Kat turn around and smiled. "Sweet dreams dear." She watched as he rolled over and went to sleep once more. She slowly started to head back down the hallway to her room. She stops at the enterance. Achthonian was sleeping at the foot of her bed. Her fur reminded her of the blood splaters and smeers on that window. She shuddered, and at the same time, Ach growled. Climbing back into bed Kat just lay there wide awake. Not wanting to sleep for fear of re-living that dream again... And fear the kids would dissapear. She reached under her pillow and pulled out this diary she'd bought so many moons ago. She pulled the pen out of the middle and opened to a new page. Tobi's Diary Dear.. Umm.. Paper thing. Tobi said his first words.. Or atleast to me anyway. He said, Night mum... Well almost, he either needed to wake up a little or just a bit more practice. But other then that. I think I have to start making hight protien foods. He's still way to pale in the face. I'm kind of hoping it's just a baby thing he has and isn't a deficiancy or anything... Then again, he did come out of a scroll.. Could be lack of sunlight. Well any way. I should really try update this thing more often. I'll try. Kat.

Kat smiled, she'd somehow managed to pawn off Damian, Ali and Danny to a friend to take care of them. It was time for Tobi to meet a person of his....... Type? No... Umm... Well one day I'll figure out what he is...
"Into the car my little Tobi." Kat strapped him into the back kiddies seat.
Tobi sat there, ocasionally kicking his legs and making a fuss over some minor thing.. But still rather silent- Unusually silent..... for most of the trip

The new wardrobe....
Tobi sat in the middle of a pile of new clothes... Some wern't to new though, as he'd insisted on a few things from second hand stores.
He'd aquierd a tie died shirt with the spiral colours of BRIGHT, Pink blue green orange brown and some random blotches of mixed colours.
Some purple shorts, with holes at the knee's.
A few new pairs of socks, which he could play mix and match with, Bright yellow orange baby blue and aluminus green.
He'd a colection of missalaniouis clothes, all non matching, all piled on a heap on his floor. He knew how to clean. He was good at it. But right now. He was busy admiering the colours that clashed so maddly that if anyone with a mad hangover walked into his room at that precice moment, there'd be a even madder smellier clash of greens yellows and lumpy stuff people think is carrots.......

Kat poked her head around the corner after about and hour of letting Tobi clean his room. To find a perfectly clean room and a child whom couldn't move with all the clothes he was wearing. "If only I had my camera" Kat dropped onto her knee's laughing, Tobi had even emptied his drawers and donned every pair of socks, evert pair of under wear, every shirt and every pair of pants. He'd gotten around the problem of shorts and long pants by wearing the shorts on top of everything else.
He was positioned infront of a small mirror that had been placed in his room admiering his look. Turning left and right- Carefully encase he falls over and doesn't return from down under.
A masive smile crossed his face. To him he looked perfect.
"Very nice love." Kat tried to say with the tears of laughter streaming down her face.
"I knows." Tobi beamed "Can we go to park now?"
Kat burst with laughter again, finally calming she shock her head. "Not right now. And not with ALL your clothes on. We jsut got back and now you HAVE to clean your room. That means put clothes away not wear them."
Tobi looked crest fallen and started to peel off some of his clothes. "You mean that?"
"Yes I do. Now get to work. I've got pancakes cooking." Kat winked and walked back to the kitchen.
Tobi poked his tonuge after her and peeled a few more layers off. He kept most of his non-matching clothes on, which consisted of his tie died shirt one Baby blue sock one Bright orange one, and his purple pants with the holie knee's.

Amyla Edana After a terrible day at school, little was better than sucking down a milkshake, playing with one's puppy, and then crawling like crazy through an indoor playplace. When Yana's day had been one straight from hell, her eldest sibling had taken pity on her and brought her out to a nearby fast-food restaurant. The deaf girl had morosely sipped on a bit of vanilla milkshake, patted her sleeping hearing dog, and then kicked off her shoes to commence crawling through the obscenely-bright plastic tunnels, determined to get her mind off how much school... well... stunk.
Kari, seated at the table, cuddled Evie on her lap, idly stroking the child's fiery red hair. Her yellow eyes tracked Yana's movement through the tubes, knowing full well now that the girl had a temper. A slow one, mind you, but she had a temper nonetheless. Every now and then, the Ancient would glance down at her feet to make sure Hiroko, in all her green canine glory, was still fast asleep, as if the puppy's snores weren't loud enough to tell her that. Saturn2626 Sisca entered the play area slowly as she watched the small child play in the colorful tubing before setting down at a table not to far form the door. She hadn't anything to do lately besides stay indoors,Which can get quite boring at times,So a trip to the nearest fast food joint was about the only thing that she could come up with to do. So as she slowly sipped on her strawberry milkshake and munched on her medium burger,She fell into a deep thought of how her life had suddenly turned for the worst over the past weeks and of how she will deal with the dramatic changes to come. "What am I going to do?" She had thought to herself as she stopped to take a small bite of her sandwich before being snapped out of her 'mental trance' by the sound of the snoring. Sisca then looks up to shortly scan the area for the source of the somewhat loud sound before resting her eyes on a puppy napping across the room in front of what seems to be a odd looking woman. Amyla Edana Karael, aware of another person nearby, had not initially paid much attention to the new arrival. She had a more pressing problem on her hands, the problem being Evie, who had finally decided to awaken from her afternoon nap. She shifted the toddler's weight, glancing down at the girl's bright orange eyes. "Feeling better?" she asked, ignoring Hiroko's puppy-snores at her feet.
The toddler gave a wide yawn, showing off a mouthful of sharp and very dangerous-looking teeth. "Myyyyyaaaaaaaaaaanh," she said, smacking her mouth a few times once the yawn was finally done. She blinked and then sat up straight, flailing her two tails about and looking around anxiously for something to do. Unfortunately for her mother, the first form of entertainment she found was greeting the other person in the play area. "Hihihihihi!" she said, peeking up over her mother's shoulder and waving one chubby, three-fingered hand at the newcomer. "I Eeeeeeevie!" she proclaimed. auzzie_kat Kat slid into a booth. Daniel hanging from her left hip as she sat down and Tobi climbing up beside her. "Mum can me an Danny play?" Tobi questioned. Although he was her adopted child- Well.. Adopted? Bonded. Neither cared for the biological meaning. "Umm, I dunno hun. Danny's a little small- I don't think he'd be big enough..." Kat said a little worried about the thought of Danny getting hurt "After all, he is only a baby." "I promishe I'll care for him mu- Ohh look, a doggy over there! Can I pat it? Please? Please please?" Tobi started bouncing up and down in his chair. Kat looked up. There was a lady with a young'n and a dog- Whom was snoring something cronic. "Umm, you'll have to ask the lady Tobi. I think the puppies resting." Danny perked up and started gumming at his ice-cream, teething wasn't fun. Not when you hurt. He let out a little wail of pain and gummed more at his ice-cream making a mess. Kat sighed. Lovely. She just let him go. "Why don't you go play in the play area and once Danny's teeth stop hurting I'll bring him out?" "Can I pat the doggy first?" Tobi whined. "I told you to ask." As Tobi slid off the booth chair Kat added. "And be nice." At that point Danny let out another wail of pain and Kat lifted him into her arms and rocked him, "There there little one. I know it hurts." She pulled a teething ring out of her baby bag, "Here chew on this for a while." Saturn2626 Sisca jumped back alittle as the young toddlar pop out of nowhere and introduced herself loudly. "Um..Hello there,little one." Sisca sayed in a somewhat shy tone as she gave a small wave towards the lil girl. She then noticed another women with children,entering the play area in a rather loud fanshion. "Well I guess there goes the quietness I was hoping for." Sisca says to herself in a sarcastic tone as she continuced to watch the other woman hold the baby what seem to be a small teeching ring. "And to think I have that to look forward to." Sisca then looks down at the small bulge(sp?) in her stomach and started to think out loud in a somewhat wisphered voice. "Well atleast I have some time to think about what I'm going to do. Let alone where to live..." Amyla Edana Evie gave a contented chirp, a grin splitting her green-skinned face. "Hihihi! Whoyou?" the toddler asked all-too-cheerfully, oblivious to the fact that her new 'friend' wasn't the most cheerful in the world.
Realizing that her daughter was intruding on someone else's quiettime, Kari immediately turned and attempted to haul Evie back down onto her lap. "Sorry if she's bothering you. She just gets to be a bit too cheerful at times, thinks everyone wants to play," she said, trying to calm down the overly exciteable toddler. She glanced in the direction of the other newcomers and then returned her attention to trying to keep Evie from squirming off her lap.
At Kari's feet, Hiroko finally stopped snoring and woke up, giving herself a good all-over shake. The puppy wagged her tail and glanced around until she spied her charge crawling through the playplace tubes. Satisfied that she was still doing her job, she got to her feet and wandered out from under the table, tongue lolling out of her mouth. auzzie_kat Tobi found his chance. He didn't care if mummy would yell at him. The puppy was awake! He waddled aquardly over to where the puppy was and streched out a hand, "Hi doggy!" He called. And edged closer. Kat hadn't heard this, she was to busy trying to stop herself falling asleep at the table while Danny chomped and chewed on his teether ring. She searched in her bag for the bongella cream. "Gotcha" she mumbled, and pulled the teether away from Danny, he gave a protesting wail and started kicking his legs out. Kat held him close and smothered bongella cream on his gums, "That orght to do the trick bub." She let him have his teether back and sighed. Danny stopped thrashing the second he had his chewy back. He looked around nd spotted another little one. He gave a shy wave and pulled the teether away long enough to babble out something in baby talk, "Abgabla dabr blga" "Hi, I'm Danny."Amyla Edana Hiroko, upon hearing a salutation of 'doggy', turned her green head toward the source of the noise, watching the toddler come closer. She tilted her head first to one side and then the other and then lie down. The puppy gave a soft woof at the boy and then glanced back up at the playplace tunnels, watching her 'job' crawl around inside them.
Evie heard a bunch of babbling and glanced over at the infant, her flame-haired head tilted to one side. What in Gaia was he babbling about?! She waved back in a cheery fashion. "Hihihihihi! I Evie! Who you?" Saturn2626 Upon hearing the young child ask for an introduction,Sisca looked up at her and replied with a forced smirk. "Um...I'm Sisca." She wasn't very fond of childeren yet,but working towards improving that seeing as how she would have one of her own soon. "Aww,it's o.k miss. She wasn't bothering me." She added with a small smile as the woman holding her turned around to parden the somewhat overly cheerful toddlar. "It's good that she is like that because that just tell me that she won't let things bring her down so easily." Sisca nodded before looking over at the child attempeting to pet the small puppy. "Hmm...cute." She thought to herself as she took another sip of her now semi-melted mailkshake. Amyla Edana Upon hearing that her 'adult' friend was greeting her, Evie turned her attention back to Sisca with an all-too-cheerful grin. "Hiiiii Seeeesssaaaa! Seiiiiissa.... oooooh, funny!" she giggled, unable to properly pronounce the woman's name due to childish inexperience and uncontrollable giggles.
Kari let out a hefty sigh. "Actually, I think it's more of a sign that she's oblivious to the actions and reactions of people." She was going to attempt to straighten Evie's hair and tie it back more neatly, but she decided against it. The girl was giggling far too hard. auzzie_kat Tobi tottaly obsesed with the puppy petted and petted and petted. He stroked the fur up, he stroked it down, he fluffed it he parted it.. He kissed it and hugged it. He didn't hear his mother's "tisk" at what he was doing. He flopped himself on the floor beside the puppy and continued the petting session. Kat smiled as the little girl introduced herself, "I'm Kat and this is Danny. He can't talk very well yet." She smiled warmly across to the other woman whom the child called Evie was also talking to and gae a small wave. Even when a... Part human body was running on empty, she still had energy... Maybe that was her cat side? Ahh well. Either way. Danny babbled on about a lot of random things in his own little 'fox' laguage. It consisted of a few howls, growls, and some rather quiet 'yip' type noises that Kat guessed where fox. He waived his arms around with his little chew toy, realised he'd pulled the chew toy from his mouth, stuff it back in there, go quiet then notice Evie again and start babbling once more. Yep Kat said to herself, this ones going to be the most annoying, loud and loving one I've had...Amyla Edana Hiroko, well-trained and used to being manhandled by small children, patiently withstood the petting. She waggled her tail a bit, not minding the attention at all. Despite her young age, the puppy was incredibly patient.
Evie made a face of complete bemusement and was silent for a moment, her eyes wide. She slowly tilted her head to one side. "Whuhhuh?" Obviously, complex sentences were still a bit much for the poor, attention-deficit toddler. "Hiiiiiii, 'aaaaa." She waggled the fingers of one of her chubby hands at Kat. auzzie_kat Kat giggled at Evie just as Danny gave a loud howling wail. Kat jumped then tendered to the bitten tongue. "That'll serve you right for chewing at talking at the same time." She said quietly to the infant as she bounced him on her lap to sooth him down. Tobi smiled to himself as he petted the puppy, and asked "Whats your name? My doggy's called Achthonian." He said proudly, "But we cant really play with her, she gets grumpy really fast." He rather expected the animal to talk back as almost every 'pet' Tobi had seen... Spoke?... Or close enough to. He glanced over his shoulder at Danny and glared. "Evil racoon, fox, kitty thing." Amyla Edana Evie looked startled at the wail Danny let loose. She squeaked in quiet surprise and then squirmed in her mother's lap, babbling and gesturing to the floor in an obvious 'Put me down so I can investigate' fashion.
After a few futile attempts to calm Evie down, Kari gave in and stood with the toddler on one hip, padding her way across the floor toward Kat and Danny. "I'm sorry to bother you, but Evie was curious. She likes to investigate people," she said, sighing softly as Evie waggled both of her tails and waved at Danny.
Hiroko licked a few times at Tobi's hand, not really understanding what the boy was saying. She wasn't an idiot creature by a long shot, but her intelligence didn't nearly rival that of a human. She gave a happy yip as Yana, having become bored of the tunnels, made her way over to investigate.
The dragon-girl eyed Tobi with a mixture of curiosity and wariness. "Hi...."((Since this RP is backdated a bit, Yana is still a kid, not her hormonal preteen self. <3 Because if she was in her present stage, she wouldn't be caught dead in a playplace.)) Saturn2626 "Oh she'll grow out of that." Sisca in reply to kari's statement before continucing ot sip on her half melted shake. She then quietly watched as the overly happy Evie went over to 'investigate' the small boy's petting session with her puppy. "I wonder if you're going to be that curiosity." Sisca thought to herself as she slowly rubbed her stomach with her free hand and watched as another child appeared from within the playplace. "I wonder who's child that is?" The young vampiress thought once again to herself as she watched the young girl walk over to the boy and quietly introduce herself. auzzie_kat Tobi smiled and hugged the puppy as it licked him. Then gave a stat as some other child came over. His hand paused just above the puppies neck and he left out one of his charming smiles and waved a hand "Hi, Im Tobi. Who are you?" Danny had stopped screaming long enough to take a breath and then realised that Evie to had two tails. Bitten tongue now long forgotten- Other then the throb and the sniff everynow and then. Danny reached for his tails to show off his fox tail and his racoon tail. Kat meerly laughed as Kari, "A bit like my Tobi over there." She nodded in the direction of the boy patting the dog. Tobi started to babble and Kat gave him a sollem glare, "You drive me mad you know that?" She laughed at him, then heald out her hand to Kari, "I'm Kat." She looked beyond Kari over to Sisca and motioned her to come join them, after all, meeting new people was what this whole 'going-out' thing was for.. Right? Saturn2626 Sisca looked over at Kat as she motioned for her to join the others. "Should I?" The uneasy vampiress asked herself as she sipped up the last of her melted shake and slowly rised to throw it away before looking oncemore over to the group. She'd been basically a loner for most of her life,so being a social butterfly wasn't her thing. "Might as well start now,atleast before he or she gets her." Sisca thought to herself as glanced down at her slightly bulging stomach before walking over and sitting down next to Kat. "I'm sorry I don't think I've properly introduced myself. I'm Sisca Bloodworth and you are?" She says as she held her hand out to shake. Amyla Edana While Hiroko gave a quiet woof and waggled her tail at Yana, contentedly licking at the girl's hand, Yana herself gave Tobi a wary look, one eyebrow raised. "I'm Yana. Ddddissss isss Hiroko," the deaf girl slurred, her mismatched eyes carefully watching the boy's mouth to discern what he said. She spared her older sister and Evie a quick glance and then returned her attention to the strange boy, not quite sure why he was so gleefully hugging the puppy that acted as her ears.
Kari took the offered hand to shake, though her own hand was not quite made for the gesture, as it only possessed a thumb and two fingers. The yellow-eyed Ancient shifted Evie's weight on her hip. "I'm Kari. This is my daughter, Evie," she said by way of introduction to both Kat and Sisca.
Evie waggled one of her own three-fingered hands at Danny, watching his tails. "Ooooooh.... taiyyylsieeeesss." She wiggled her own around and then flared out her little wings. "Wiiiiinnniiies?" she inquired of the other infant, flapping one of her own pale wings for emphasis. auzzie_kat Tobi smiled, "I'm Tobi." He looked around, he had no one else to introduce..... "I like your doggy." His smile broadend. Kat took the offerd hand, in her own and replied, "I'm Kat. Kat Martin." She laughed, "One of the most simple name's you'll ever hear." Kat paused and noticed the pregnancy swollen belly, "Ahh, congradulations?" She indicated to it, in Kat's eyes, if someone pregnant they must be happy. Well... She didn't understand anyother way. Children are a blessing to her. Danny's eye's bulged out of his head. "Ohhhhhhhhhhh" he clapped his hands and look amased, "Abbadergafera nah bleget" He bounced on kats lap and reached out a hand to touch the wings. Saturn2626 "It's a pleasure to meet you two." Sisca sayed with a small smile and nood of her head as she shook both of the women's hands. "Um...thanks." The vampress replyed in a soft uneasy tone as she looked at her swollen stomach and the feeling of guilt started to overcome her emotionally. Having a child should make her happy and overjoyed,but sadly only thoughts of sadness and regret came to mind when she thought a child entering her lonely,sad life. Amyla Edana After a bit of concentration, Yana was able to read enough off the boy's lips to understand what he was saying. "Ttttankss..." she said quietly, scritching Hiroko behind the ears.
Flicking her tail to one side, Kari bared her fangs in a wide smile at both women. "The best names are the simple ones; they're the easiest to yell when you want to get someone's attention." That being said, she was glad that she had come up with some sort of nickname for the wriggling child in her arms. Yelling 'Evelia' every time she wanted the toddler's attention... it would have given her an aneurysm by now.
Evie flapped her wings and then twitched them out of reach of Danny's fingers. "Nuuuuuu... my wiiiiniiiies!" the toddler carefully explained, relaxing her wings into their normal carried arc against her back. "Yooou wiiiniiiies?" auzzie_kat Danny blinked. Wings? He didnt have a clue. He looked at his mum.. She had wings but only in her elven form... He remembered her in that a few times. If he ahd wings how do you use them? Kat heard her asking. "No... But he may when he's older. I dont know. He has me and a bird in him so he may.. He may not." She turned her atention back to Sisca she just caught a few expresions but felt the rest, "Your not ready?" She was confused. "Neither was I when I had Tobi over there pop out of a scroll..." He face changed into an expresion so compationate and loving that it probably made anyone looking at he blush and look away, "I agree. Daniel and Tobi are the best names I ever came up with.. Because I can shout them really quickly... And They dont get bored and move away before I finish there names." She laughed. Tobi sat looking at the girl. "You talk funny." He didnt laugh. He'd heard a few of his mums friends-Even some animals- talking funny. He held out his hand to her and said "you_didnt_tell_me_your_name" really slowly. Amyla Edana Evie tilted her head to one side. "Nooo wiinnniiies? Ohhhhhs." She nodded wisely and then continued to flick her tails about, idly twitching her three-digited hands. "Hansiiies?"" she inquired, wiggling her hands at Danny. Everyone had hands, didn't they?
If Kari was bothered by the Kat's obvious displays of emotion, her face didn't show it. Though overly maternal creatures--most those of the human nature--bugged her to no end, she'd long since learned not to react. People tended to react badly to it. She simply shrugged. "Nicknames come in handy too. I can't imagine yelling 'Evelia' every time I wanted to get her attention."
Looking a bit put-out by his lack of memory and his statement, Yana huffed quietly. "My name isssss Yana. I'm deaf." There. That ought to explain it, yes? She watched his face, curling her tail around one of her legs and stroking Hiroko's furry head. Saturn2626 "No....really." Sisca sayed as she hung her head in shame as started to stare down at the ground. "What type of mother am I? To regret bring a life in this world. A most wonderful thing that many woman are sadly unable to even do and will give a arm or leg to be able to do it." She whispered softly as she thought the same. auzzie_kat Kat reached a hand out. "I'm part elven. It's what Im bred to do." She spoke softly. "Sometimes. First shock of it's hard. But. In time you'll grow to love it." She nodded empatically. "You should have seen me when a Orphan landed apon my door. I freaked out." She patted her hand trying to be as kind as she could. "Your not a bad person. Anyway. No matter what. I'm sure if you need anything, someone to talk to. A place to stay. Someone to baby sit for a while. I'm usually always avalable. What with my motly crew" She laughed a little but kept her eyes on Sisca. Danny giggled and held up his stumpy, podgy fingers and wiggled them. "Myn." He giggled. "Myn." Tobi looked a little confused. Deff? He blinked blankly at her, then it hit him. Like that lady at the doctors... O-oh. "Sorry." He smiled at her. Walked over to the adult and pulled paper out of his bag and a blue crayon, he walked back to Yana and flopped on the floor. He wrote: "What's it like to be Def? Your Cool, can we be friends?"  Amyla Edana Kari gave Sisca the most comforting smile she could manage, though her over-long canines and generally sharp teeth made it seem more sinister than she intended. "Not everyone is excited about it at first. And no one's a perfect parent. Gods know, I've screwed up a lot. But what Kat said is right. You grow to love it, and you learn as you go." She shrugged, stroking her wriggling child's hair, a wicked grin suddenly splitting her face in two. "Or you have a psychotic episode. Either way, you get a handle on it."
Evie giggled and waggled her own three-digited hands, both of the chubby green appendages. "Mineminemine! Yooooours," she said, pointing at Danny's fingers. "Noooossss?" she inquired, putting one of her fingers on her own nose.
Yana watched as he scribbled on the paper, peeking over to read it and then looking up at him. She smiled a bit. "It'sssss not ssso bad. I learned t' rrrrrrwrread lipsss." She touched her own lips and pointed to his. "I can sssseee what you sssay if you talk sssslow and talk rrrright an' look at me when you talk. And I want t' be frrrrriendsss, Tobi." Her smile was wide and genuine now, her mismatched eyes alight now that the other boy seemed to be understanding her situation. Saturn2626 Sisca exhaled softly as the Kat patted her hand and Kari reassured her with her kind words. "Well I guess that you two are right. Everyone isn't prefect after all and like you said Kari,even you a great looking parent has messed. Oh and right thinks for offering your help Kat. " Sisca paused a sec as she started to think for a moment. "No,I couldn't..." The young vampiress thought to herself as her possible homeless situation started to run across her mind. "...but she did offer a place to stay though." Sisca then lift her head up slowly and looks over towards Kat with a somewhat uneasy expression. "Well there is something you could do for me Kat. You see,I'm kinda living in apartment right now and am running out of money. Um...so...I'm really in need of a place to stay...for free." auzzie_kat Kat smiled and nodded to what Kari said. Then her smile broadened and she laughed at what Sisca said, "Your more then welcome. I've got a spare room and I'm sure when the little one comes along- If your still with us, Danny wont mind sharing." She indicated the little one on her lap. "I'm lucky enough to still have the house I lived in when my old friend and I lived together... After she moved out it's been rather quiet." Danny followed her action and tried to poke his nose. His misguidence of his hand poked himself in the moth before righting and touching his nose. "Myn" He said again. Tobi smiled, "Mum said that sometimes you have to write things down for deff people- But I think people should do that for everyone. So no more fights." He stood up and opened his arms a little in the ofering of a hug, "Friends" He repeated and nodded his head. The slightly waxy complection of the child and his bright blonde hair seemed to make his bright blue eyes shine even mroe with delight. His first real friend. ((OPD at SMC Clinic))

Journal entrie..
Mummies going mad- Little brother and mummie went shopping. And then mummie was brought home by a big car with flasshy lights, and the man's called themselves 'Police' and she was all upset... She was crying something about it all being her fault... Then I realised that Danny wasn't with her.. and when I asked mummies broke down and said she didn't know.. And she's not sleeped she just sits on the couch and stares at the wall... Its scarry.
A police man came today and I overheard him saying that maybe us kids have got to go into fostercare for a little while until mums stable to care for us... Until they find Danny. The police man asked if I'd seen any people hanging around- But no one comes here... No one. Its just us. With the shop up the road- mummies loosing money now. She's not been able to work... So theres been no shopping in- Lucky Uncle Bluey came over, he made us dinner and tried to get mummie to eat but she just sat there... Looking.. Dead?
It's scary. I want my mummie and I wish Danny would stop messing around and come home. I bet he was playing hide and seek and he's lost now. I bet he did. And mummie couldn't find him so she thinks she's lost him.
I got a cool card from the police man. He said it has a number-thing on it and if anything happens I'M to call him... But I can't read the numbers... Damian can read but I was told I had to call him. I hope mummie gets better. And maybe Danny will come out of hiding? Who knows. He could be found by tomorrow? Right?

A police'man called today. My uncle answerd it coz mummy doesn't move. It was a weird conversation. Uncle Jay said that mummy was busy or something... And when I came out he cried on me. He piced e up and sat with mummy. It was the first time I saw her moove. She put her arms round me and hugged me. I felt... Special.
OH, no one has see Dan pet. The evil wolf thing. Its gone day after dan didnt come home. Maybe she gone to find him?

Kat sat in her room. Halloween. The time of year when all Gaian's go crazy.. Or crazier...
Kat worked on getting Tobi's costume ready.. No matter how hard anyone tried. They couldn't convince him Whiches were females and Wizards were males. Either way. He chucked a tantrum untill Kat started making what he wanted .She'd desided to take Tobi trick or treating. It could be intersesting.
Later that week halloween came. And Tobi walked boldly out of the house with Kat at his side -Albit Actually holding his hand.. Damn parents-
The pair marched boldly along the street to there first victoms... Tobi reached up tentavly to the door bell and pressed. He put on a masive smile and waited.
...The door opened...
"Trick or Treat" They choirused.
"Ahh what a wonderful costume there lovey." The lady said and put some candies in his bag. "You've a wonderful daughter." she said to Kat and closed the door.
Tobi simmered. Daughter??!!
They moved on. Atleast they had candies.
Again Tobi hit the door bell and waited with a smile. "Trick or treat."
A elderly couple answered. "Eh? Ahh yes... Here you are sweetie." Said the elderly woman. "You've lovely hair."
The elderly people waited till they'd left there yard and closed the door.
Tobi snarled Sweetie.. Lovely hair
They marched on. The next house came up, and the next, each time they comented on how pritty... darling little thing... Oh my what a wonderful little girl... Tobi wanted to burst.
Kat stood at the enterance to the driveway, letting Tobi have the chance to feel like a 'big boy'.
His feet stamped hard into the gravel of the next driveway. And he jammed his finger into the door bell. This time he didn't smile. As the door opened he smiled and snapped. "Trick." The man just looked at him confused.
Tobi burst, "I'm not a little girl I'm a boy. I'm a big big boy. I run in mud and play with worms, I eat all the icky things that little girls scream about." He took a deep breath, this would probably be the most longest speach he'd ever made.... "And.. And..." He falterd, "I can prove it!" The man stund looked at Tobi and gave him a weak smile -Crazy Kid- "Here have some candies." And he closed the door...
Tobi exploded. "IS THAT ALL YOU CARE ABOUT?! CANDIES. SCREW YOU MISTER. I'M A BOY! BOY BOY BOY BOY. GIRLS HAVE COOTIES ANYWAYS!" He stormed off back down the driveway.
Kat stood there gobsmakced. Since when did Tobi meet a girl? Or learn how to yell so loud. People in nieghboring houses were peering out there windows to see what was going on. Meanwhile. Tobi mentally marked the house. He'd get his own back one day. Anyways. His candie bag was full.
"Want to go home." Was Tobi's short reply.
"Uhh-" Kat wanted to scold him for yelling at someone but didn't know if Tobi care or listen. So she waited. She'd have a sturn talking to him when they got home anyways.

Tobi sat cross legged on the floor, he was staring at a picture of his little brother Danny. He missed him soooo much... His eyes traveled to the letter on the table. Kat had receved it earlier that day. Her tears had smudged some of the writing and she'd colapsed onto the floor. Uncle Almi had luckily been here to carry her off to her room. Almi wasnt really an uncle. Just a friend of the family. He was nice and he always brought nice things around. But today he had just brought that letter. Tobi's hand snagged it up. He was happy home schooling had atleast taught him alot but he wanted to go to school. He read it; letter Dear Mententally. We've you'r son. He was found in our cave. Unfortuantly the portals have long ago been sealed up and your sister here- The one who gave you the scroll- Is taking care of him. Teaching him the way's of the elves. He will have to return when he understands how magic works, and then and only then can he open a portal to return him. We are unsure as to how he got here. But let if be known, you cannot return back here. If you are found here we will have to punish you. You know the rules for breaking a centence. Don't worry. He's going strong. He's now a beautiful young... Boy? Who knows. He's to much like you to know if he's human or elven[/]. He to is shunned by our race, one because he's not pure and two because he's an animal. But your sister has been tied to him as he's to young to cast out and we cant punish him for his mothers problem. I thought we told you, you could NEVER breed!

Senel.Tobi swallowed the lump that seemed to clog his throat but it wouldn't go down. His eyes sought out some sort of kindness in the cold letter but he couldn't see anything. He understood why Kat had been so worried about him. He must have been kid-napped by the people who wanted to kill mum in her world. He sighed. placed the letter back on the table. He could understand, to, why Kat wouldn't let him go to school. She was worried they would think he was her child to. Well. He was. She was his mum. For ever. And he wanted to go to school. Learn like all the others. His thoughts took him to his dreams of making friends and being around others like him. He looked at the calender. Christmas. Mum's brithday. His birthday... School starts... What? He read the note that had been scribbled onto the little square. "Almi found a school for Tobi." He preened. He was beaten to it by his uncle... Finally. He ran down the hall-way to his mums room, "THANK-YOUTHANK-YOUTHANK-YOU!" He cried out bursting through the door to wrap his arms around Almi's waist- And he reached his chest. What the? Almi wasn't as tall as he remembered. "You shrinking?" He laughed. Almi laughed. "No lad. Your growning." He looked down, but only a little as he could almost see eye to eye with Tobi now. "I give you a few more weeks and you'll be my shoulder hight." He laughed and tussled his hair. "You'll have to sit a test, because you've been school taught, so they know what year to place you in.. That way they know how smart you already are." He winked.Tobi all but yelled at the thought, "So if I know enough, I could be in a high grade?" He asked eyes wide. Almi nodded. Tobi's jaw dropped. "I gotta studdy!" He dashed out of the room he's cry's of joy bounching off the walls, into his room, he colapesed onto his bed, pulled his schooling out from under the bed and started reading through it.

Tobi shivered. He was cold. It was an awfully cold night. Snow pelted down on the windows and he glared at it. It was 'it's' fault for making him cold. And miserable... He slid slightly closer to the open fire that they had in there loungeroom it eminated warmth.. But he still felt cold. He sildled closer and closer till he imagened he could feel the heat melting his very skin. He started to perspire quickly but he shrugged. He must be comming down with a cold from all this snow. He lifted his hand to wipe his brow.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~"
Kat came running into the room, "Tobi are you o- OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUC-HELL" Kat screamed, Tobis hands and feet had turned into a puddle of wax and his hands were doing the same she watched in shock/horror as he slid to the floor, wax seeping out in holes though his pants, his face dripping. Parent-instinct took over. She lunged for the fire and put it out with the autamatic safty switch. She ran from window to window, room to room flinging open the windows, to let the cold air in and chill the house. She re-apeared sobbing. Tears left streak marks down her face, "Oh Tobi what happened?" She sobbed.
Tobi just gapped the coolness seemed to stop him melting more, "Umm.. I... I dont know.. I just got close to the fire and... I stared to.. Sweat or something." He shuddered, he felt.. Odd.. He looked down, his feet and hands made an odd undiscribable sound as they molded back to there original shape. His face tingled as the dribbles rippled back up into there old positions. Tobi shuddered in the cold wind.
Kat's hand flew to her mouth as it formed a perfect 'O'. She stared at him her eyes bulging out of her head. "Oh gosh." And she fainted.
"MUM!"

Tobi sat in his bedroom floor, all the heating in his room turned off so it was rather cold in there... Or to be precise almost an ice box.
He sat thinking out loud...
"Well.. If heat makes me melt....... What if freezing... Freezes me an I break apart?" He sat in silence freaking out on his floor. He breathed in and slowly exhaled. His breath turning to mist in the cold room. He shook his head.
"If freezing made me fall apart then I should be in pieces here..."

Diary Dere bok thing. It me, Tobi I found you agin undar my bed. Long tyme no whrite huh. Well mum is taking aboot moovung mooving moving some wear. And we are comin to. Mum sade that it woold be fun. So me an the scrool and mum and a few of the otha kids that stil live wit us an the aminals are comin to. Gotta go. Mum tellin me to pack.

The day finally came.
Everything was packed.
No one knew what exactly was in what box.
The house seemed... Empty... Lifeless as Tobi did one last scout over the place. He searched every room, to make sure nothing, or no one, was left behind. He checked outside. No.. Nothing remained and a chilly wind swept over him as he looked around.
Empty land with nothing on it. Empty house that just felt lifeless.
It wasnt his home anymore. Yet it held all his child hood memories.
He trudged slowly back to the car as Kat called for him. It was time to leave.
Tobi sat in the front pasenger's seat of the car with his nose pressed against the window and watched as his old house driffted into nothing-ness... He wondered if he'd ever see it again. A few tears dripped off his face and he sat in silence. Confused. Why did they have to move. What if Danny found away to come back. He looked up at Kat. She to, had tears running down her face.
Tobi wondered if she was thinking the same thing. His little brother. Gone forever?
Tobi sat with his hands clenched apon his lap. His head bowed. He'd have to arange a time to talk with someone about any posible help they could give him on the guest he wanted to uptake. To rescue his brother.

They finally arrived. The house looked new. To new for Tobi's liking. There was rose bushes in the front garden and a blueberry bush on the left side of the house. Stairs that lead to the entrance- it wasn't exactly two stories, just raised off the ground.
Tobi pouted. It would never be like his new home.
"Go on inside. I'll help the house movers bring everything in." Kat shot Tobi a quick glance, "You can pick your own bedroom." She prompted.
Tobi pouted a little more until the sentence sunk in. "Huh? My...Own....Room..." His eyes grew wide. "MY OWN ROOM!" With that Tobi raced up the stairs and through the house, yelling "MY OWN ROOM!" At the top of his lungs. He skidded to a halt at the first room. To small.
He continued on, looking into every room in the house. He didn't like them. They were all the same. Square with a window. And he knew the biggest and best room would be his mums. He leaned against a wall and sighed. This place sucked. Tossing his head back to smack against the wall in frustration of having to move, he felt the wall move under his head and a quiet 'click'. Tobi's breath came to him hard and fast as he heard grinding noises over head and his legs turned to jelly and with that he lost the ability to scream as his throat suddenly went dry.
His eyes on the roof as it started to collapse in on top of him. He pressed himself against the wall and shut his eyes tight. The noises stopped with a gentle 'thump' against the floor. He opened on eye to peer at-- A set of stairs? What-the?
He tip-toed around to the front and up through a black hole into the ceiling, he glanced around and on the square of wall that his head had pressed in was a switch, he reached over and flicked it on. Lights flickered to life above him and bright, yet gentle, colours streamed down through the hole in the ceiling. Curious Tobi climbed the stairs and poked his head through the top, turning this way and that to have a look around. He climbed out onto the floor, his eyes wide mouth hung open in awe turning this way and that to get a look around.
"Tobi! Have you found a room yet?" Kat's voice echoed up to him
"Ye-Yeah m-Mum, I have. - coor- Come have a look at this!" Tobi called back.
A short while later he heard footsteps coming up the stairs and his mothers bright red hair came into view. "Wow, how'd you find this?" Kat asked in fake awe.
"I- I- Uhh.. Lent on a wall and it just opened up a secret passage." Tobi replied.
"Wow, this place must be full of secrets, huh?" Kat prompted she sent him a wink. And tottered back downstairs to show the guys were to put his things, with a huge smile on her face and humming a tuneless song.
Tobi thought about what his mum had just said. He'd have to go exploring this place and see what he could find...
