What type of technique is this? It prolly wasn't the smartest thing in the world to give a person with manipulative tendencies a way to exert there tendencies... but With any techniqe I give a person I usually test them out before hand and I also make sure I have a way to take it back so to speak. I'd prolly prevent her from useing the technique through a bind.

I mean theres nothing wrong with teaching others... just if you knew she was manipulative maybe you should have taought her something else first.

If you know what she does... and how she does it... you can thus stop her just through that means. I'd have to know more about the technique though in order to tell you how to stop its use.

It is what you did... you live with it... If you thought she wouldn't abuse it... you learned you were wrong you move on. Its not like you were intentionally trying to have her use it. Though subverting peoples will isn't exactly what I'd consider the right thing to do.

Okay, so I kinda know this mind-control thing, right?
I kinda tell my sorta-manipulative-friend, who likes to get her way, but I believed she would make the right decision and not use it unless something bad happens.
Well, now she's got everyone she knows wrapped around her finger by performing this technique, and now I'm beginning to think it wasn't such a good idea teaching her.
Now, I have a few questions:
Did I do the smart thing?
Did I do the right thing?
What would be the best action to take?

Let this be a reminder to everyone to be careful on who you teach.

I am really the only one who isnt afraid of teaching others or worried about protecting "hidden knowledge" all the time?

Oh- by the way! biggrin I haven't been on gaia much to say this, but I finally found a method of protecting myself from the nightmares that the symbol caused ^_^ Of course now the symbol doesn't work for me anymore sweatdrop ... In fact- I guess other than knowing how it used to work, all I did was find a way to revert to where I was to begin with whee

Quite simple, actually ^^;; Using the symbol itself to speed the process of memory decay. This poses two serious changes to the way we should now view this symbol which previously caused great fear in me should someone figure out how to use it.

1. If you learn how to use it, it's easy to remove the knowledge and save yourself and the world from potential (though not necessarily inherent) dangers of use.

2. I no longer know how to use it, so should you come to me with questions desiring to know exactly how to activate the array, all I can give it vague memories of how I used to do it <.<;;
