i think i first heard of them in like 1998 or 1999 while surfing the net for pixel art sites. i went to this one japansese site and they had a media player. the only thing i recognized were the words "the pillows" so i gave it a listen. xp

--Hey, I'm Kat. I'm not exactly sure how I got into The Pillows but I remember singing one of the songs [and I only knew one at the time] and a friend recognized it and said I should watch Furi Kuri [which I did] and, yeah, they're bloody awesome~
If someone gets me some good pics I can probably make more banners -grin- I can make-make one but I currently don't have the time [I have unfinished projects to hand in]
And, yeah, I tried playing some guitar from The Pillows but mi padre's guitar is out of tune all the time [and missing a string]--

well...actually, if you see the end it's really easy to tell the metaphor of the story, but the way the structure of the show is set is wonderful.
