`Nymphie [Glitter.Poptart] Well minum wag is 5.15 an hour I started at 6 and now I'm up to 7. =D This is also from being in highschool. D: Oooh Payless pays more then that. They pay $8 an hour. But then minimum wage here is $7.50ish soo yeah. And I get my raise soon! Because you get a raise after 6months and I reached the 6month mark on the 1st ^-^ Im so excited for it. Yeah, it depends on where you go. once I start working on commition I will get 50% of whatever it caust to fix the car.. I think. I dunno, my boss/type dad person hasn't told me anything about it yet. But I doubt I will be there that long. I got my first raise at 2 months. =]

Well, if it's any consolation, I've worked at AZ for almost two years, and I've got two raises... which total about... 21c more than what i was hired for... *mumbles that he's only getting paid 7.21 an hour...* x_x *mumbles about cheap corporations short-staffing stores...* *wishes he was paid on commission...* I could SO get people out of money... I mean, hell, I've actually talked people OUT of buying stuff... o_o

At least you have a job. I've been told directly that I was going to be higherd no less then two times at two seporate places, and I was not highered at either.

Ezzy is jobless loser. She occasionally shops at Payless, though. Occasionally. It's hard to find stuff she really likes sometimes. gonk Cause she is short and can't see the high shelves where the good stuff is hidden.

Payless has really helped hone my lying skills XD In all actuality, I feel odd when I do that, but that's actually what I'm told to do... That if I sell someone something, and they didn't need it, then I didn't do my job... that if I don't suggest something to someone who needed that something, then I didn't do my job... I'm not supposed to be pushy, but I'm supposed to get (insert unreachable number here that no one at the store, not even the mangers, have ever attained) amount of "add-on" sales... x_x Also, when I get crap for raises, and see them tossing good merchandise (because they don't want to send it back to the distribution center with the whole bunch of other stuff we send back) and watching them waste resources (like paper, I'd be willing to bet money that AZ uses more paper than a gov't agency of equal size...) it kinda disheartens me... Which makes me perform not as good... but I dun think it really would matter for raises... the sad thing is, I prolly got the highest raise in the entire store this last time... at 11 cent... (they allocate x amount of money to a store... our store, of i think it was 10 people at the time, probably got about 50 cent to disperse as raises...) *thanks God he's in college, and when he's done, he'll never have to put up with crap like this... walk and find another place real easily... hopefully... x_x*

I work at Duckwalls, which is like a mini Alco, which is like a small Walmart. Today, these old ladies came into the store, three minutes to closing, stayed there until fifteen after, and DIDN'T BUY ANYTHING! gonk
