SoudaiSatsujin AshWufei SoudaiSatsujin AshWufei SoudaiSatsujin -sighs- walking away with his head down. ^^ I can make an offer of well I got no money as of now. Walks slower away now. I just can't do it captain. ^_^ I wish I had some money. You selling singe strings? ^^ Haha, well, if you really want a handmade guitar as your next and dont want to break the bank, i could probably make you a hardtail guitar of some sort from wood i can find on eBay and korean-made parts (the kind on low to mid range epiphones). The pickups may not be all they're cracked up to be if you go that route though, Ive never personally used any from this particular store.. Heres the lowdown on the price: -Ash Wood for body from eBay: ~$30-40 -Plain Maple neck blank: $17.90 -Fretboard:$18.36 -Hardtail Strat bridge: $24.95 (Economy tremelo is $39.95 if you must have it) -(2) Economy Humbuckers: $30 -(4) Strat knobs: $4 -Switch, Pots, Caps, and Jack: $17.93 -Tuning Machines: $24 -Ferrules, strap buttons, nut,: $7 -Pickguard: $14.69 -Truss rod: $18.49 -Finishing Supplies: $40 + $15 for the stain if you want something other than Vintage Amber.. All in all it comes to be approximately $250. Double that for labor fees, including the hand built custom shaped neck. $500 I wouldnt be afraid to let it go for that little since i would be using inexpensive korean made parts, plus korean made pickups that probably arent all they could be. About average price for a second or third guitar. Might wanna opt for some better pickups though. I wouldn't need a pick guard, and I don't know what the heck a tuning machine is. if it is what i think it is I don't need it. ^_^ I also would like a rosewood neck. If it is possible for you. *Ish can't buy anyway.* this is just for later refrence. ^_^ You never know when I'll get some money cause I don't either. lol No [ickguard shouldnt be a problem, but it does make it easier for me.. Tuning machines are the tuners on the headstock - you need those! xD If you mean rosewood fretoard, thats my specialty. No service charge for that! awsome. ^_^ *Knows what a T machines* lol Id also would want tknow where you would insert the strings, because on my current guitar you go through the back and that is a huge pain. Well that depends on what kinda bridge you want. On strat style trems the strings go into the back. On hardtail strats and teles strings usually go thru the body. But with a tune-o-matic bridge i can make it a string through or a stop tailpiece.

Well, are you talking about a normal SG (which Angus used of course) that would look like this: Or an Angus Young signiture SG which ive never actually seen Angus use, that looks like this: If you want something like the first one, no problem, it's just a Tune-o-matic bridge with a stopbar tailpiece. But if you want what's on the Angus Young signiture, your out of luck because you can't find aftermarket Maestro tailpieces, let alone Maestro tailpieces attatched to a trapeze tailpiece.

Id want that, but for the head, Id want an ibanez look a like. I like it better tehn what an SG has for some reason. *Ish it is easier for me to tune. lol* I get the details and maybe in like a year or two I'll hit you up and ask for it. ^_^ By then Id hope I can pay for it. I should be able to get a job by then.

Keep in mind that i'd still be learning anyway (always learning, no matter what your skill level), and if i did make any mistakes, i'd make sure they were 100% fixed before you got the guitar. But i'll have plenty of experience.. All ive gotta do is collect a bit more money and ill be on my way to building my very first guitar!

I can most definately refinish it for you, as long as you want a stain, transparent, or solid color. I don't trust myself with bursts, and i wont untill i actually do one. The humbuckers won't be any problem at all, but the price of the humbuckers will be included in the price. What type of fetboard do you have? Why do you hate it? Got pics of your guitar?

I'll have to look up everyhting I want done to my guitar and show ya some time. I've played that guitar before, its t bad, for the price. With the mods you want to put into it, it would cost you more than the pack itself had cost you. Especially with the new fretboard. That's a one-piece neck, so you can't just take the fretboard off. You'd have to strip the lacquer off, sand almost all the way down to the truss rod, then attatch a rosewood or ebony fretboard, then radius THAT, and install new frets, etc etc. It's alot of work, and wouldnt be cheap for supplies or labor. I'd keep the same fretboard if i were you. You can get a nice set of humbucks for fairly cheap, they'd imrpve the sound, and refinishing with a nitro-based lacquer would greatly imrpove the resonance of the guitar wood. Both of those mods would be a good idea if you dont plan on just buying a new guitar in the near future.

I plan on having more then one guitar in my future, but I'll be stuck with this for a long arz time. lol Guess Id stick with the fretboard, But eh guess that don't really matter. but yeah Id just like the finish to be redone and new humbuckers. You've played this guitar? lol Wow no one I know even knows this brand. lol They make better amps I'm sertain about that. what gauges do you reccomend for a guy that loves to play hammer ons and bends? I was looking today and found some great strings everyone rated thena nine out of ten or better. So I'm probably going to go with those/
