"Mother? oh yeah! I still havn't found my mother yet. She's probably very lost. " She frowned, ears flat. Though, had she really mentioned her suspicions of her mother being lost to Ger?
She flicked her tail, moving slightly so she could turn and look at Ger, smiling. "Swaii sais that sometimes too! " She purred, then looked back at the taller grass. "What was that thing that scared Kimaji? "

Ger quirked a brow. What was she talking about? Her mother was lost? Ger opened his maw about to ask but then shut it. He had a feeling she would as about his own mother...and that wasn't going to be good.
His ears perked up when she said her father said she was beautiful too.
"Well, that is what fathers are suppose to say to their daughters. But I'm not your dad."
He chuckled. Ger's teal eyes followed her motion to the tall grass. The thing that scared her? What was it exactly? Maybe it was him? He sort of tilted his head and kept looking.
"You mean that zebra?"

"Zzeeebra? "
She repeated, tail flicking. "Kimaji never saw one of those. " She said, looking at the grass intently, as if she could still see the stripey thing. She flicked her ears, tail-tip twiching.
"It was weird. "

"It was food...that was probably enough to feed the cubs, Aysha, and my Dad. Oh well, the day's still young I can still grab something to eat I guess."
He siad with a soft sigh, nuzzling her again.
"Sorry, I didn't know you were there and that it would run in there to start. You are alright, right? Nothing hurt? Back? Paws?"
He looked over her back and under her chin to make sure she was alright. It was strange, but he was actually worried about Kimaji more than one should be.

"Ooh. "
Kimaji swished her tail. "Yeah, Kimaji's ok. " She said calmly, but keeping her eyes on the grass. Ger had wanted to take that to his family, but maybe he had missed it because of her? The young lioness frowned slightly, then had an idea.
"Ger wait here! " She exclaimed, but without waiting for response, she shot off back into the tall grass, fur matching neatly with its pale colors, but she still moved a bit too much grass to go unnoticed. She slowed down where the zebra had scared her, and sniffed the air. It smelled more like food.. Over there.
She continued running more to the left now, following the scent of the wounds Ger had inflicted on the zebra.

Ger tilted his head and looked around. It was quiet here. He sat there just as Kimaji had ask. He wasn't gonna disobey her and wander off. Strange, huh? He chuckled and lied down, rolled over, and pawed at the sky.
"One cloud.....two cloud.....three cloud.....four-uh-big big cloud?"
He counted out softly. Ger was just easily entertained sometimes and it was calm out here. His teal eyes looked up to the teal stars one by one, pointing out some old constellations he knew from his cubhood. He was alone, but he wasn't. The Kings were watching him too.

Kimaji, however, didn't find the zebra; it was long gone. A smaller, funnier thing, was moving around, alert, though knowing that another had just been chased, the dikdik seemed more alert. Ofcourse, Kimaji had no idea this was a different species, maybe a baby zebra!
However, it was where the grass was shorter, Kimaji was smart enough to know thatwasn't too good. Maybe whenits head was in the grass? It was still.. sort-of high. So she crouched, and waited.
Soon, the creature lowered its head to graze. And so, she sprung foreward. Of course, a goofy lioness was sort-of easdy to notice, and it raced off.
This thing was fast!
Her limbs streched to their max as she raced after the dikdik, but she was suprised at how easy it was to run out here, not needing to dodge away from trees. Instinctively, when close,she batted her paws at its hind legs, and eventually, it lost balance, and fell.
The lioness was suprised at this, mice usualy got flinged away f she went thistrong, but this just fell, and jumped right back up. But its run pattern had been lost, and soon, Kimaji had it pinned.
And just when you think its over, it kicks. "Aaah! " She squeaked, almost pulling away, but remembering it was her fault Ger hadn't caught something, so instead, she. Sat. Down. It couldn't kick her now, ha! But how would she take it back to Ger? She sighed, and got up. It darted off almost emmediatly.
She walked back, head low, pushing through the grass and sticking her head out first, making sure Ger was still there. With his bely to the air. "Sorry, Kimaji couldn't catch zebra. "

Ger perked his ears and rolled onto his belly, eyes on the female before him. He smiled with a sort of cheerful snort.
"Oh, Kimmy, I didn't expect you to. I can catch one if I wanted to. It would only take me a moment. That zebra, I let it go. Strangely because I was thinking about you. You would not want to take a life would you? You are just so pure and happy. I let it go thinking of what you would do. I am glad you didn't catch it."
He smiled to her again. She was so beautiful under the light, it was just...breath-taking. Wow, maybe Ez had a slow lasting affect over him since they were cubs or something. He was thinking like him now? Ger laughed inwardly. But he must admit...she was breath-taking.
Ger stretched out a paw and motioned her to him, motioning her to the plot of grass beside him. He wanted some company.
"Come here, Kimmy."

"Well.. But Ger has to feed his family, and Kimaji made the zebra go away! " She said, but nonetheless moved over to where Ger indicated, flopping down there, looking at her paws. "Kimaji can only catch mice, Swaii always catched bigger stuff. "
She flicked her tail, resting the fuzzy tuft atop of a hind paw. True, she didn't adore the concept of killing stuff, but Swaii did it; she looked up to him. "Swaii would get happy if Kimaji caught something big like he does. "

"Kimmy, I don't need to feed the family, I like to. However, I see that as my father's job and I only hunt to get my mind off things. Besides, I am sure that one day that you will have to hunt for yourself and others. Maybe if you can catch one, Swaii will be proud of you. I know I would."
He smiled and nuzzled her softly with a soft purr. He had grown quite affectionate toward her as a friend. She was so young and innocent. She was just trying to hunt to feed herself and her father. He must admit that if she was indeed able to catch a zebra, or anything bigger, then she could support a family and maybe a pride.
"Kimmy, mind if I spend the night with you? It is sort of late and I fear I might fall asleep walking back home. Perhaps I can help you catch something come morning and feed you and your father."
He grinned cheerfully to encourage her judgment toward his favor.

"But.. " She sighed. Ger was probably right, but still, she had messed up his hunt, hadn't she? She twiched her tailtip and shrugged her shoulders. He said it was ok, but she still felt a little guilty.
She forced a smile as he nuzzled her, and rested her head against his shoulder, ears flicking when he spoke again. "If its ok with swaii, you can go to our cave. " She smiled, lifting her head. "But if we wanna get back in time, we gotta go now. " She flicked her tail in the direction of the forest, shehadn't gona so far, so it was still in view, but to get there before it got too dark...

Ger smiled and purred, nuzzling her as he got to his feet. He waited for her to rise to because he had no idea where her den was nor if Swaii would like a strange male in his den with his daughter. The male smiled his charming, yet slightly flirtish smile and motioned his head.
"Come on, we'll never know if he'd let me stay if we keep waitin' around here. Then again, I am sure sleeping under the stars is just as fine."
He'd know that one. He slept under the stars for many nights and he quite enjoyed it. The night sky, the shining stars above hime, teh nice open freedom, and the occassional welcoming warmth of company.
"Though, I'd prefer if we stayed out here tonight. You lead the way, Kimmy."
Ger smiled, he was the guest and she was the host. Where she went, he would to.

Kimaji rolled up to her paws, ears foreward with a smile. "Ok, Kimaji knows where it is this time! " She grinned. Last time she'd seen Ger, wich had also been the first time, she had sort-of gotten lost. She turned in the direction of the forest, and started to trot confidently towards it.
"Did Ger ever see rain? Maji talked about it once. Kimaji never ever saw rain. " She looked over hershoulder, ear tilted curiously.

Ger smiled and walked along side her, slowing himself to her pace. He had to keep in mind that with running so much, he walked fast, when he took small steps it seemed to be a bit slower when another walked. He smiled and nodded.
"Rain is the water that falls from the Kings. When the Kings are said, they cry, and we feel their pain in the rain. It makes us wet and uncomfortable, sometimes it makes us sad to see it. Rain is water."
He explained. Well, that was what he believed anyways.

She blinked, almost tripping when listening to Ger's explanation.
"Maji said the Storm King's mane was the clouds, when he shook it, it rained. " She smiled. "Its probably neat! Kimaji likes water. " She liked swimming alot fora lion, actually. She 'purred', it was nice to have some company.
"Ger lives in a funny place, Kimaji is so used to trees everywhere. "
