Sky hummed softly as she approached her bedroom. She had just gotten off of work and she was already stripping out of her jacket. Her raven hair had grown back again, this time at a shoulder length.
Alexander rolled after her, having tired of the office the moment they had gone into it that morning.
It was late afternoon when Sky opened the door to her rather furbished mansion. It wasn't a very large mansion but it was nice all the same. It had been many weeks since she had heard from Jareth. Alex had been giving her company in the lonely place she was calling home...though it didn't feel like home at all.
"We're home, Alex." She whispered to the orb, silvery eyes looking around. She scooped her friend up and went to her room after tossing her keys and jacket onto a side table. Alex murred softly, the golden mist swirling around the dragon symbol in the orb. Whatever was in the orb had to have been very special for Jareth to have given him over.
Sky smiled. "How about a shower? Does that sound good?" She asked her little friend. Alex wiggled, tinkling a little for his answer. A soft chuckle came forth from the soft lips of his owner who was making her way to the bathroom. She set him on a set of towels while she started the shower and stripped down to hop in with the orb.

I finally met the famous Goblin King. The poor man was struck by a runaway cabinet on wheels. The sight was humorous,...though I am glad he wasn't seriously hurt. Alex showed a protective side as well. I knew he had it in him...just not how much.
The king doesn't seem that bad... just like anyone else with so many depending on him. It gets tiring after a while....all the paperwork, late nights, being alone...It takes a toll on one's mind.
Sky wrote in her journal, Alex sitting beside her and watching with intriguing interest.

Skyling finally had a day off from work. No phone calls, no paperwork, no people bustling in and out of her office with problems and the bad magic folk. For once there was no meetings to worry about and it was just Skyling and Alexander.
Alex wiggled to do something as he rolled into Sky's lap, who was still in her sleeping shorts and shirt. She yawned and seemingly pet the orb. "We need something to do..." She said softly. She got an answering hum. She smiled and decided to go to her room and dress in her favorite jeans with holes in their knees and an off white off the shoulder top. She decided to wear a simple necklace around her neck and a pair of thong sandels.
She gathered her keys, wallet and phone and shoved the wallet and phone into her pocket. "Come on, Alex. We're going to go do something relaxing but fun." Alex wiggled and rolled after her for the door.

Sky looked to him. "Just because the rich are around, shouldn't mean your judgement and artistic views should be clouded. I guess that's just my opinion." She smirked before she realized Alex had disappeared.
Alex had rolled to secluded area where his orb cracked and smoke poured out a little. The shape's color in the glass dimmed, barely sparkling when the undera materalized, his wings opening and stretching but damp.
People stopped and stared at the wonder. Some were a little afraid because they never saw one before.
Sky darted from her place by the shark tank to scoop her new undera up. Alex simply clung to her, looking up at her with dreamy eyes. He was damp but not enough to drench anyone.
Sky smiled and stroked his hair back a little bit. "Alex..."
Alex peered at her with expressful green eyes. "Sky..." He murmured.

Sky was craving something…something erotic and exotic and intimate with nothing to be found to cure it. She sighed as she leaned on the balcony’s railing, watching the starry sky, gazing at the silvery moon that shown.
She wore a simple silk nightshirt with a pair of pj bottoms. Bare feet touched the ground and didn’t feel the coolness of the stone. Her nightclothes were in a kind of light pink with a black trimming.
Alexander watched her from the doorway, dark green eyes studying. He felt the call of the night, where he was really mostly active, even if he was seen in the day. For all he knew, his next stage is where everything would turn around. The night would become his lifestyle, always whispering to him.
He had his reasons for leaving the labyrinth as an orb…why he chose her. Casually he toyed with his horns a bit, feeling their spiral shape and smiling a tiny bit, reminded of seashells along a shore. He even tunneled his hands through his hair, feeling how soft it was and imagined it to be hers.
Alex was protective of his owner. She seemed saddened sometimes when he was around and couldn’t tell why. He felt the impression in her mind…so far and impression was all it was. He wished he could help her, to know why she was saddened.

Alex floated around seeking something to do. Boredom had struck and he didn't want TV. It bored him. Instead he looked for something that could occupy his time. Sky had come home late, and was currently curled up and asleep. He didn't complain so much about it. She was busy and when she had a day off it was spent with him so he didn't complain.
Now he looked through the books and opted for something to read, finding something and took it off the shelf. He floated over to the couch and settled down, propping the book open and started reading it. He didn't care what it was about. It was something to do after all.
Sky on the other hand, was lost in a dreamworld, the blankets covering her to her waist and a pillow thrown over her head. She needed to get out more and away from work, if for Alex's sake and to get him socialized more. It would do them both some good, she had thought.
In the dreamworld, however, she saw a dreamy face complete with a smile and pointy ears. Somehow his whole appearance seemed to take a hold on her and one she couldn't afford. She sighed as she stirred from this dream, drifting into a world where she was awake but she didn't want to move yet.
So she just laid there, gathering her thoughts and shoving back fantasies that were never to be, something she'd accepted so long before. She left the room, seeking Alex's company in the living room where she pretty much curled around the undera. She'd accepted as far as love, he was the only one who would get it.
Alex didn't mind as she curled up with him. Instead he just let her cuddle and even pet her quietly.

Sky rolled from the couch to sit on the floor, yawned and stretched out. She moved to her feet gracefully whilst Alex adjusted himself from his sleeping position on the couch.
She left the living room, moving for her bedroom, stripping all the way and was starting her shower. She jumped in to let the hot water run over her as she lathered up and caressed her sun kissed skin. She admired how the water ran over her form, her thoughts drifting quietly away to her fantasies…Fantasies out of her reach.
Alex on the other hand was happily dreaming he was pirate! A pirate aboard a vessel that sailed the seven skies.
His crew were taking his orders as he happily gave them. He was dressed in a pirate captain’s sash with hat, a swashbuckling sword in his hand as he waved it a bit, spouting out commands like a proud captain. They were fighting a band of rival pirates, over a treasure chest they had. Alex wasn’t about to give it up as he now started fighting the rival captain.
Of course this was all in his head as he moved quietly, swishing this way and that, his hair falling all about, golden horns peering through his dark auburn hair.
Back in the dream, his crew won and were rejoicing, dancing about the treasure chest with merry and glee. He was tossing his hat up and catching it, all grins and smiles rather then the seriousness he showed when he was awake.

Another day off and Skyling had the urge to go shopping. She wanted to get to a mall and just spend money on things. She had the money...why not purchase what she would like? Thus she invited Alex who came willingly and placed his hand into hers and they headed out the door. Soon they buckled up and were off, driving off for the closest mall.
Once there and wandering the stores, some people stopped and stared at Alex as he floated by her side. Sky seemed oblivious to the stares.
Alex noticed a jewelry store that offered a free peircing for the ears and it stuck in his mind. He let go of Sky's hand and floated over to the store, being followed by his owner quietly.
He wandered the store, looking about it and eyeing some of the pieces inside. A set of gold hoop earrings caught his eye and he fingered them a moment, adoring the simplicity of the design.
Sky smiled as she watched him look around. When he was finished in this store, his ears had been peirced with the golden rings and given instructions in how to care for them properly.
They walked along, looking into different stores where Sky also bought a leather jacket and a shirt for him to wear at a later date. For now he could enjoy his new earrings.

Skyling ran through a maze, searching for something or someone. She felt a steady beating of her heart, her gaze eternally searching and looking ahead of her. Fear gript her soul. She thought she lost whatever she was searching for. She barely felt the burn in her legs and lungs as she ran, black curls bouncing as she moved.
Soon she found herself at an end of the maze and started climbing up the vines, tears burning her eyes. She felt different inside, like she wasn't herself. A slip of the foot and she fell before she grasped a vine and winced. Her hand had caught on a thorned branch. Thorn trapped in her hand now she let go, gasping before she was caught in a set of strong arms. She blinked and looked at her catcher, looking surprised to who it was.
Alexander stood there, gazing at her with evergreen eyes, sable hair blowing gently by. The only difference to this Alex was he had two legs rather then the ribbons that made up his lower half currently. She caught her breath, aware of his hold on her. He didn't seem phased, rather comfortable with her in his arms. With preternatural speed, he left the spot before the vines and wall and carried her home, close to his heart. She clung to him, wondering where the speed came from.
At home, she was settled down in a seat and her hand was taken into his, palm turned up. Fangs appeared in his mouth as he kissed it, removing the thorn from her palm with his teeth and ran his tongue along the open wound. He licked the blood up, and cleansed the wound. His saliva held a natural healing agent that stopped the flow of blood.
Her eyes were wide as she watched intently, a little scared to what he'd become. Then again she didn't know what his type was...so this was all new to her...
"Alex..." She whispered, tears still in her eyes as she curled up in his strong arms. So far, she saw he was the only male who hadn't hurt her.
"Skyling," He said softly, holding her close and stroking her hair and kissing her forehead.
Skyling woke up with, her eyes snapping open as she stared at the ceiling. She was on her side, clutching a pillow in her arms. Glancing over, she noted how her undera was still asleep, one arm draped over her side. She turned over and pulled her sleeping little one into her arms and closed her eyes. She'd try going back to sleep but she couldn't stop the beating of her heart as it had sped up. What was she too expect from her undera now?

Days and weeks went by as they went about their normal routines through out the day. Sky would either be at work, at home, or was doing something whilst Alexander entertained himself with helping her out with the house, keeping it clean and picked up.
His ribbons came in handy for quick pick ups. One or two of his secret abilities was starting to show through, the ability to speak telepathically and even move things. He felt there was more to him then what was showing now.
In his room, on a huge screen showed what appeared to be a little creek and a campfire. Candles burned to reveal a midsummer’s night blending with the scent of pine and spruce of a fresh forest on a winter’s day. The room resembled a little like a forest and even smelled like one. It made him feel different from others, if he ever met others.
He had noticed his skin was becoming more sensitive to the sun’s rays. Even on a cloudy day he had to wear a protective shirt and specially made sunglasses. Skyling hadn’t been able to understand entirely why he was starting to sunburn when he was around the light, so he was sticking to the shadows and nighttime as much as he could.
Outside his room, Sky was in a restless mood and it was closing in on evening. Her hair hung about her shoulders. A few little strands framed her face as she moved about. She decided to go for a run and proceeded to change into something to run in, including tennis shoes she had and enjoyed running in.
With herself readied, she went to his room and opened the door a bit. “Care to go for a run with me, Alex?” She asked softly, watching his undera form float near the window, being careful of the last of the rays but watching the sun set.
Alex turned his dark green eyes, the same ones that started to haunt Sky’s dreams. He nodded, showing little feeling in the nod. “Sure…” He didn’t get why he was loosing his emotion. It scared him to feel the lacking.
With his yes, they were out the door and Sky was enjoying a good run with him floating beside her….

Skyling sat on the edge of her bed, Alex near her injured foot. She hissed softly as the young undera lifted the foot and unraveled the bandages and looking at the injury. It didn't seem bad at first, but the shard had been deeply embedded.
Alex continued to examine the wound before he leaned in and licked at it. The leftover blood that had stopped tasted sweet, a little tangy.
She watched with a little bewilderment as her foot was licked and she tried not to giggle at the tickling feel. She nipped at her lower lip, unsure of what to do or say in that moment.
However, she was putting together in her mind, what Alex's species was...He seemed fascinated with her blood. Maybe it was her dream that haunted her. She couldn't picture her Alex as a blood drinker....but it seemed to fit.
Alex finished cleaning her wound, trying to heal it up. To others it was unsanitary and bad, even gross. For Alex, it was natural.
Sky withdrew her foot from him and curled up on the bed. She didn't know if Alex realized he was changing to something so she didn't bring it up....

Alex curled up on the window seat in his room, a book in what would be his lap and a pen in his hand. In a smooth handwriting, he wrote in it, keeping the journal as he wrote.
He silently thought of the male his owner, Sky seemed to have made friends with. Lex. Alex wasn't sure how he wanted to look at the guy. Of course, he wanted his owner to be happy, at the same time he thought no one was perfect was her....let alone worthy of her.
Lani was an interesting being...definitely one who enjoyed life.
Alex blinked a little as he turned to look out his window, watching the evening sky. To be honest, he wasn't sure how or what to think of Lani...

So this is what a friend's like... thought the undera as he scribbled in his journal, quietly thinking about his new friend Mistletoe. It felt odd to have a friend...but a good odd. He wasn't the only one with ribbons for legs and feet. He was a slow grower he was sure. Maybe now, with a new friend there would be new adventures to come, new lessons to learn and eventually legs and feet to really give chase too...
It would be nice to have legs instead of ribbons. They looked nice and he seemed to have grown a little fetish for legs, always running his hand along Sky's in adoration...She never seemed to mind him doing so. It wasn't like he loved her in more then a child to a parent. Sometimes he wondered but he knew he didn't. He hadn't seen the others for awhile, so he wondered what happened to them...

Entry 19:
Alexander strolled the beach when the sun set. His skin finally got to a point where Skyling couldn’t take him outside during daylight hours anymore. It bugged him because he enjoyed the sun’s rays on his skin. It was always nice and warm. Now, his Carpathian blood was catching up to him as he grew into this stage of life. He no longer saw color and he was slowly loosing his feelings. He couldn’t feel the same feelings he felt toward Skyling. He knew he care for her but he couldn’t feel it…
Now he knew what it was like to loose his emotions and he didn’t like it. He prayed quietly that whoever his mate was to be, would come soon. He could feel the cool breeze on his skin but it didn’t go much further then that. He had regulated his body temp to match the evening’s temperature. Not that it was really hard to do…
He didn’t give his future lifemate much of a thought, an unusual trait in a male Carpathian. They generally imagined what they’re soul savior would be like. But Alex didn’t give her much thought…Sky had watched him grow even more somber and suggested he start going outside more often…She even suggested he go to clubs or something to see if it’d lift his spirits. It didn’t do much for him. He did however feel a tad hungry…and couldn’t eat the sweet fruit and meals he loved. It all bothered him….
