He was just attempting to keep out of her grasp now, it seemed she was alot faster then him but he was enjoying himself all the same.
"Chip." He spoke quickly again before barking and running at her playfully. If this was a friendship he would have been delighted but yet he still firmly believed that there would be no friends in his life. He would cherish this playful moment for a long time.

As her muzzle brushed ever so lightly against the fur of his tail, and she failed to grasp it she realised she was never going to catch a hold of him. He came towards her and she stopped, letting him get close and sitting down with a thump and a laugh, trying her best to catch her breath as she eyed the strange male who seemed in many ways so similar to herself. She had never really felt so exhilarated and much of her waryness was gone.
"Chip." she said, repeating the name and getting used to the sound it it. It was short, like her own, but a lot harsher sounding. She decided she liked it. "Chip's a good name" she smiled, looking wonderingly at him. Did he have family nearby? she wondered. It seemed impolite to ask, though, and Maia didn't want to directly pry.
"Do you often play this kind of game?" she wondered aloud, still smiling.

As she sat down he stopped and just barked at her, he didn't want to stop, that might mean talking and he couldn't do that. He whined a little and shook his head to her question, he just wanted her to get up and play some more!
He let out a howl, long rough and a little sad but it stopped and he was back to his playful position. He wanted more play and less talk, things worked better that way!

Maia shook her head a little. Still out of breath and curious she wanted to talk. She didn't understand his reason for keeping playing like he did and began to feel a little worried again. As he let out his mournful cry she felt a little sad, wondering what trouble the tan and blue wolf, and dragged herself to her feet again.
She wasn't tired, as such, just a little weary of playing when she knew she couldn't win. She leaned forward and pressed her nose against his muzzle, nudging him slightly. "Why won't you speak with me?" she wondered aloud, gazing into his sad looking eyes. He was a mystery, was this wolf.

He let out something of a sigh and continued to look a little sad. He wanted to talk to her but he couldn't not without her running away or something, he wasn't normal.
He barked playfully again and jumped about a little, he wanted to play again, he could do that, he felt normal doing what normal wolves do.
