Seto took a few steps back. He sow that even if he gave his egg to her what can he do if she runs away. He was to tired to make a long chase. "No." He said as he started to turn back.

"Go tend your own egg. I can take care of the chick myself." He was alreaddy knew that he was lyeing. He knew little from about chicks just absolents and some adult things.

He was curiours about the griffan but not enough to let his only chance to prove the Eryie wrong. He lost almost all his trust for her when she said that.

Si winced, realizing her mistake almost immediately, but what was said was said, and any attempt to rectify that verbally would be worthless.

"Very well. Try to keep up as best you can, if you wish to follow me, or follow this track to the Eyrie. I leave the choice up to you. I have to see to that griffin."

She took off at a jog into the brush, heading toward where she had last seen the griffin circling. As she jogged, her breathing fell into an easy pattern and she hummed to herself a song which her parents, were they still alive, would have been shocked if they heard her sing it.

A lad upon his griffin's back
Went out flying one day.
And from above he saw a maid
All alone and at play.

The rider and his griffin-bond,
They landed close at hand,
And then they saw a vision
Which had been most un-planned.

The maiden who had played below,
So young and free of care,
Was, in truth, a nubile youth
Who wore naught but her hair.

The song continued from there. It got more and more bawdy. She couldn't sing some of the verses without blushing.

He sat down on behind a tree on the path. "All she wanted was my egg." He said calmly. He wasn't surprise. He thought that only the Eryie cared about was taking eggs for younger riders. If need be he would give the chick to a wild griffan if it would take it. He just sat there with his eyes closed thinking weather or not to go.

He deiced to follow just to keep farther back. He just need some help with the chick then he would so them that they had no right to treat him like they did before.

He heard her huming but decided to go at his own pace. He really didn't care about the rider or the gryphon.

Cecil slid off the large, black gryphon's back, pulling the hood from his white cloakc back off his head.He ran a hand over his short black hair, brow furrowing in thought as he tried to figured out where they were.He had a sort of mental mad of places they had been, and usually wasn't wrong when figuring out where they were or were heading, unless, of course, he had never been there before.

Mia's head turned slightly, eyes narrowing and ears twitchin as the singing reacher her on the wind. She huffed slightly and turned to her owner, who was oblivious to the noise as he was currently lost in thought.

Silence came into the clearing and was not quite startled to see a large, black griffin there. The rider, whom she had not seen from below, was a surprise. Black hair, white cloak. He was unlike anyone she knew. Not, then, one of the Eyrie's own missing people.

She couldn't help the disappointed sigh that escaped her any more than she could help staring, transfixed, at the curious arrivals. The sudden profusion of griffins was...puzzling. But it wasn't a bad thing.

Silence was certain the griffin was aware of her presence, but she was unclear as to why the creature's rider had not even glanced in her direction. Her approach had not been exactly stealthy. Or anything vaguely resembling it, between the humming and occasional swearing when a twig snapped back at her, not to mention the bracken under foot.

"Fair winds and smooth flight to you," she ventured, the ritual greeting between two un-acquainted riders. She wasn't a rider yet, but the greeting was still valid.

He just looked at the rider and then the girl. He had a thought. Once he had seen a bird act that way with a chick that couldn't see. He stayed quiet though.

Cecil turned, slightly surprised that he has been so lost in thought he hadn't heard this girl's arrival. He bowed his head slightly, touching his forehead and with his fight hand, lowering it turning his hand in a gesture of his own greeting. As he brought his head back upright he smiled, his clouded eyes turned torwards the girl."If I may ask, is there a town or anything of the sort near here?"He couldn't recall coming to this part of the mountain, and was in need of a place to rest, and possibly restock his supplies..

Mia cocked her head to the side as she looked his girl over, the bells on the tuft of her tail jingling lightly with each swich of her tail.As the arrival of a second human she puffed her chest out, eyes shifting from one human to the other.

He watched the griffan intently. It seem to be warning him. He just stood there quite watching it. He knew better then sit down either the egg or him.

Silence returned his salute, though she saw, now, that it would make no difference; he wouldn't see it. Then she met the black griffin's eyes briefly, and then lowered her own pointedly, letting the griffin know as clearly as she could that she deferred to its superior size and strength. It was always easier to do that with griffins than fight them for dominance as many in the Eyrie insisted on doing.

"There's the Eyrie," Silence offered. "It's where I live. I'm afraid it's not a town, or anything, but around here, if you showed up in a town riding a-griffinback, people would be fair terrified, and think you a figment of nightmare."

She fell silent, realizing that she had said entirely too much. Her parents had only named her Silence, she felt most of the time, in hopes that she would eventually grow into the name. Not so much.

Silence had no idea how to communicate with this strange griffin rider. His lack of ocular senses made her gestures and shrugs and expression - and therefore, most of her vocabulary - obsolete. Yet she wanted very badly to ask him about everything. He had been out in the world, obviously, and he might know of the others' fates.

But that may have been hoping for too much. She was relieved that her facial expression was as good as hidden from his clouded eyes, because she knew that it would have conveyed something very like severe disappointment. She would not get to ask him anything, she guessed. Sage or Valour would handle that, and then information might trickle down to her un-privileged ears.

Seto held his egg in his arms. He was leaning on a big tree watching them just in hear shot. He looked at her face and decided to ask later.

He felt the heavy weight on his hands as they swayed a little.

He just started the griffan in the eye not afried.

Cecil gave a small nod, brow furrowing slightly at what Silence said."Hmm, a shame...Well, this Eyrie you spoke of, what direction is it in from here?"He was indeed blind, in the sense he couldn't see the people and things around him, but some things he could see as colors. He watched the girl, who's own color was particularly bright, which he has come to find meant she must be young. He turned his gaze torwards Seto as he spoke again."Oh, where are my manners, my name is Cecil, and this,"He set a hand atop the shoulder of the black gryphon standing beside him."Is Mia."

Mia raised her head slightly, the edges of her mouth pulling back in what one could only assume was a smile. She shifter her weight form foot to foot for a moment, bells on the various accessories jingling, before sitting how, tail wrapping aroun dher feet. She turned her head torwards the third human, a boy, young he appeared, who was holding an egg.Her eyes narrowed slightly as the boy kept her gaze. Her fur puffed out slightly in a sort of warning as she returned his gaze.Had it not been for the hand atop her shoulder she would have taken this boy's actions as a challenge, but wished not to do anything in the presence of her owner.

((Edit::Hahah, i just kept adding to his character as I go along X3))

Seto placed his egg down beside the tree then returned the grphon narrowed eyed gaze. He looked it over. Four times the size of a bear cub. If a fight broke out he would not last long.

He tapped the handle of his sword thinking.

His gaze then shifted toward the man. He look the bells on the griffan then said. "Seto." He didn't like talking to people that much.

He then did what Silence did. Avert her gaze. Fine, I don't want to get a fight started with something the size of a bear and a half

He closed his eyes as he leaned there.

Not for the first time, Silence noticed Seto's weapon and wondered about why such a young child carried such a thing, and then remembered his parents' fate. It was a fair warning to all who rode griffins. Everyone was vulnerable.

She replied to the implied, but unspoken question Cecil had posed: "My name's Silence. It's a bit of a misnomer."

Then she replied to the question he had actually posed. "I can show you the way to the Eyrie. I'm going there anyway, if you don't mind being stuck with my company for the duration. It's not too far."

She studied the griffin, Mia, and her rider. Somehow, it seemed there was certainly more to the pair than met the eye.

His eyes shifted from her to the griffan. All of us on that griffan...He thought as he stood there. He could feel the griffans iron stare at him. sow wanted to just stare back but now he would rather not.

He opend a eye and looked around them. A griffan, a man, a adult female, and him. Just what he didn't want.

Cecil gave a small chuckled and smiled."Well it is nice to meet you, both of you."At the girls offer he grinned."Well the company would be welcome. It's hard to keep a conversation going with Mia."He pat her shoulder again, scratching the back of her neck a bit as he did.

Mia's ears twitched happily at the scratching, purring softly as she continued to watch the two humans, though not as intensly as before.
