system malfunction KingShoy 600-700g it is. x_x And inconsistent you say? Some are just random sketches, while others are ones where I sat for a while and actually did something, and got into it, and improved it. So 600g for Sketch, 900g for Ink? That's cheap. D: I'll raise if I get a lot of commisions. That seem slike a fair price :3
@Dukes: I have two friends with art shops, one who just finished running an auction, and one who recently closed hers up, and that's the system all of them used. While it may not be used everywhere, it IS used, and I though using a price range was a lot more efficient and fair than a set price no matter what the quality ... "All of them" is a rather odd way to refer to a grand total of two people >.> Anyhow, I just know I've never seen it. I've seen price ranges based on clutter levels, but never based on how well the artist feels they have done. The most common system is set prices.

Dukes KingShoy Dukes ... Then that would be why they're inconsistent, wouldn't it?
Also, no offense but you may be self over-valuing your art because you're biased. ... ... Shoy, we've all thought it is about 6-800g, you're the one who thinks it's cheap. Now if we all agree, then what does that indicate to you about your disagreement? I don't disagree. It was a poor choice of words, as in "It's cheap enough that it won't scare people away from buying, instead of pricing it for 2k which would be overkill." Okay? Now either contribute and play nice, or get out.

Dukes ... Calling your twin an a*****e isn't very nice.
Anyhow... I would give you the advice on pricing that you ask for, but there's a problem, the art quality is inconsistent, which ones are like what you would be selling? Brothers... Not really. I too have a twin and he calls me an a*****e too. And vice versa. It;s actually are relationship together. biggrin
Anyway. I say about 500-600. Just go with it see how it goes.

And Shoy, I am DEFINATELY buying <333 ... You said two friends, not four. Don't yell at me for your screw up. And I REALLY don't care if you care, I was pointing out that there's a method 99% of minishops use versus one I've never even seen, seems to me there must be some sort of reason behind it. I love how nobody can disagree with you without being full of themselves. -.-

Please re-read the post before you call me a screw-up
And all I did was make a suggestion. Whether you've seen it or not has to relevance to what I've said. And yes, I did say you're full of yourself, because you act as if nothing is valid unless you approve of it

Oh I see now, the way you phrased it made it look like you were talking about the same two people.
And if I'm full of myself you're not one to talk. Nobody else can comment contrary to yourself without you attacking them.

Mmk, thats all fine and lovely, but can you take your bitching to PMs? I don't enjoy watching pointless fights break out in a thread asking for advice, let alone one of my friend's threads.

@Dukes: What are you talking about? You made a point about my ranges idea, I replied to it, and then you went on a tangent about how you've never seen it, even though what you have or haven't seen isn't relevant to ANYTHING in the discussion. So yeah, you do seem full of yourself because your goal right now seems to be to just try to prove me wrong one way or another =/

Yeah because my whole point WASN'T that I hadn't seen it and therefore it is most likely very uncommon and that there is likely a reason for that... after all, why would I need a point if I just want to prove you wrong?
