I have some books on my list but not a lot since I asked for a digital camera and either CD player or iPod.
Reliquary (sp?) Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child New Moon Stephanie Meyer Princes Diaries 7: Party Princess Meg Cabot
I know Princess Diaries sounds totally girly but it is actually pretty good and totally different from the movie. I knew there was something else I wanted to post about in the Book turned Hollywood thread. I'll go post that.

I read Inkheart so long ago...I want to read Inkspell, but I'm the kind of person that needs to go back and reread the first book when it's been so long since reading it, but I just can't get myself to reread it, even though I've taken it out countless times...
If that wasn't the case, I'd definitely put Inkheart and Inkspell on my list.

I received an early Christmas gift this evening. Someone gave me a gift card for $25 to use at Borders. Now I can't wait to visit that store again! My mind is reeling with possibilities to get, but I should wait and see what all I receive for Christmas.

Fairgrass I doubt I will get it, but perhaps someone will give me a gift card that I can use to buy "The Woman Warrior: Memoirs of a Girlhood Among Ghosts" by Maxine Hong Kingston. I've been wanting it just forever. emo Oh, I'm so excited for myself! 4laugh I got my book! I love it to death, but I've only gotten half way through it so far.
Of course, I'm also happy for everyone else who received gift cards, books, and similar, wonderful gifts. 3nodding

By the way I got all three books I asked for and even one of the mangas I asked for too. and I got my digital camera and even an iPod. I was actually expecting a CD player since iPods are expensive.

I didn't specifically ask for any books this year- I asked for a giftcard instead. But my Mom is big on seeing the surprise on peoples faces when they open gifts, so she bought books. I got the new (I think it's new) novel by Stephen King. It's called Cell. It looks promising, but I'm in the middle of a book right now, so I'll have to wait a while longer to read.
Happy holidays, and merry reading to all of you who recieved books this year!

Sadly, I didn't get any books for Christmas, but congrats to everyone who got what they wanted.
Of course, I still have people to exchange gifts with. The holiday is young!
I do have two gift cards for Borders stashed away, though...Somewhere... One's for $25, and the other was for $50, but I know I've used some of it. They both disappeared on me, and I've been searching all over the place...
