lolz, its just yaoi-ness. a yaoi pairing is usually formed when two male characters seem rather close and shows signs of possible affections, and with the power of fangirl-ness, voila yaoi. two guys + fangirls = yaoi

Fullmetal Yaoi Well.. we fangirls can dream about RoyxEd can't we? Hee hee I feel like i'm causing such controversy being here in this guild, I've already had a few complaints about my sig and my avatar's name becuase its implying something XP At the end of the day you're free to express your opinion sure, but at the end of the day i like what i like and i ADORE RoyxEd no one's gonna change that and that goes for all the other fangirls of every paiing in existance XD
Fullmetal Yaoi I love your sig! I've seen that pic before on a music video, and it's so cute! I agree completely, it's your choice if you like Shonen-ai or Yaoi, and if you don't, leave alone the people who do. I personally am bisexual, but where I live, no one knows. I like the idea of Roy and Edo together, even if it will never happen. I am also a Roiai fan, Riza/Havoc, Roy/Riza/Havoc (guilty pleasure, nothing graphic though), Havoc/Fuery and Al/Win. The only one of these that is canon, and mind you, it's manga only, is Roiai. So really, I don't care if people complain, we have a right to use Yaoi sigs and to like the pairings.

I myself kinda like yaoi. I mean, there's some that completely gross me out((i.e. EdxAl. They're BROTHERS for crying out loud and HughesxRoy...it's just plain...disturbing)) and then there's others that I find hot. Actually, that's only one that I find hot which is HavocxMustang heart They're sooooooooo hot. So, you put them together and the hotness doubles 4laugh

As for you, AngelxHavoc, I understand what you mean that there are some pairings that gross you out. (I, myself, don't approve of incest irl, obviously, but Ed x Al is like my OTP #2... I don't know why.)
Like someone else said, almost anything can be cute if it's not overdone. Even overdone Roy x Ed does me in sometimes, even though it's my OTP. xD And some people take Ed x Al way too far. It's true. THAT is what kind of throws me off half the time.
Anyway, this is pleasing~

I find it funny. I dont rreally approve of the sibling pair thing. i mean eww. its still funny though. as long as someone doesn't go to overboard with something like this;

I don't much mind the yaoi. Some of it is kind of weird, like some of the fanfics with incest (edxal), but most of the rest of it I can handle. biggrin

Just getting into the guild, so I'm a little late on this reply, but I like adding my two cents. I've always viewed fanfics and yaoi to be comparable to every other porn on the planet in that if you're into it, great. It's also about as realistic.
It doesn't suit my fancy, and actually bothers me a lot of the time however, when it's obviously not what the writer had in mind for the character on creation. (Roy was -obviously- meant to be with Hawkeye, and Ed obviously has a thing for Winry)
As I said before, if it's your thing, run with it. It just seems to me like an affront to the character and the writer.
