Ruffian was confused on what he meant. Have him sleep outside? Well, if that was what he really wanted, he could have it. "I don't mind where you want to be," she stated calmly, slowly entering the cave. It went back a bit further then she first though, so there was no real reason as to why he should sleep outside.
"If you want to sleep closer to the outside, there's always room closer to the entrance then to the back," she teased, peeking over her shoulder to give Daemon a humored look. He could be a guard dog, if he wanted. The idea amused her, though if she actually said it that way, Daemon would probably get mad at her.

Daemon smirked at her and stepped inside after her, it did go back a bit didn't it? "I was only asking, to see what you were comfortable with, though honestly, I would rather stay inside," he smirked at her and gave her a look. Was she trying to tease him or something? That was rather strange if she was...
Strange, but he liked it...
"So do you think you can deal with having me in here along with you Ruff?" he asked flicking his tail. I could deal with a few others things in here but... He cut off his own train of thought. He shouldn't be thinking that, what if she found out? What would she say...though sometimes he wished he knew what she was thinking.

Ruffian flicked her tail at his comments, trying not to laugh. She liked to tease him, but teasing could lead to frustration, and that was something that she didn't want to bother with.
"Oh, I'm sure I can deal with you in here. There's plenty of room in here for that ego of yours." She let out a light laugh, and looked back to make sure that in the darkest parts of the cave weren't any hidden snakes or other odd dangers. She didn't expect any, and she didn't find any, but it was good to be safe. Plus she didn't want to see Daemon's face with her comment, just in case he got flustered at her. She wouldn't be able to hold her laughter back if he did.

Daemon raised a brow at her and took a step towards her, a smirk on his maw, "I know my ego and I could fit in here, but with yours it would be a tight fit don't you think?" he chuckled a bit to himself and flicked his tail. She was teasing him so he would do the same to her.
Though he was thinking of something else he could do to catch her off guard...
But he couldn't do that...she'd probably act strange or say something weird.
"So where you you rather be in here Ruff? The front or the back? Which do you prefer?" He laughed in his head at his statement...it could be taken in a wrong way. But thats what made him laugh on the inside...

Ruffian's tail flicked, her back still to him. She wasn't really bothered by what he said, but she didn't fully enjoy that he poked back at her. But what's fair is fair, so she would just ignore it, for now.
She slowly turned around, sitting in the darkness towards the back of the cave. Though it was still bright outside, the cave wasn't fully lightened up near the back, so her form wasn't quite as easy to see.
"Well, instead of worry about that, you take the left side, and I the right?" She wasn't sure if it was a real feeling, but she found that it could be a little unsettling if she took the back. Situations could occur that would complicate things. Say...if they fought, or something. This way, they could have equal access to the entrance.

He wondered if he had upset her by trying to tease her back, his ears fell back for a moment, he wasn't being very nice. At least he wasn't calling her kid, that would probably annoy her even more. He wanted their stay here to be enjoyable, not filled with tormenting each other.
"Meh...if only I could tell her..." he thought to himself as he settled himself on the left part of it. She did blend in rather well in the back, he couldn't see her very well, which made him a bit on edge at th thought of not being able to tell if she was there all the time.
Ah well.
"Alright, I'll take this side then," he flopped onto his stomach and settled his head on his paws, curled his tail around himself, he settled himself in a way that his eyes could see the vague image of her in the back.
Why couldn't he just say something to her...anything?

Her ears perked forward as she picked up the disappointment in his voice. Did she do something wrong? She thought about what she did...what she said. She didn't say anything mean, and she didn't think that their 'sleeping arrangements' were anything bad.
She took a few steps towards the opening of the den, feeling that perhaps hiding in the shadows was unsettling him. She noticed that he already flopped on his stomache, to sleep? "Tired already?" she inquired, surprised, since there were still a few hours in the day. Perhaps the stress of returning home tired him, though?

"Tired?" Daemon lifted his head to see Ruff had come out from the back of the den, from the shadows. He flicked his tail and smiled, least she was closer now, "No, just thinking, are you tired?"He asked with a smile. Perhaps he hadn't have teased her afterall, he didn't want her to think of him as always trying to pick on her.
"I'm glad we found this place though, it a bit away from everyone, will give us time to just adjust don't you think?"
Adjust...and maybe get to know her a bit more...

She nodded in agreement at the comment to adjust, though she thought that it might take her much longer then what Daemon thought. She wouldn't admit it, though.
"Not so much tired, but perhaps we could nap before going out at dusk? A nice hunt might be nice to bring home..." She wanted to sound sure of herself, but she wasn't. This was going to be hard enough to get used to sleeping, consistantly, next to another. And that other was Daemon, which made things a little bit more...embarassing.

"Yes, a hunt would be nice..." though Daemon was a bit worried about the hunting. He was usually so aggressive and got lost in a hunt or a fight, he didn't want Ruffian to think of him as a threat of danger to herself. He definitely wasn't, he'd never want to hurt her.
Sleeping next to Ruffian though not right next to her, would be nice. True, he wouldn't be able to feel that she was right by him, but she was close enough for him to know where she was. He yawned a bit and half closed his eyes, smiling at her.
Things would surely be interesting in the future.

And with that, Ruffian plopped herself down on the cool ground of the cave, slowly closing her eyes for a short nap. She offered the hunt for a way to blow off some steam, for she was sure that things were going to be tense between them for a while. For some reason, or another.
Yes, things would be growing a little more interesting, day by day.
