And another thing that I'm not entirely sure about. . .

Aang, at the end, was he killed in the avatar state?
eek I've been asking the same thing!!!

The giant avatar aang fell down, so maybe he's not the avatar anymore? Maybe he's just a regular airbender. Perhaps the next season will be about Aang becoming the avatar, 'Again.'

Although, I really do hope that it's less concentrated on aang, and more concentrated on each individual, and they're story.

I was one of the few who hoped the season finale would end with everybody dealing with they're individual problem, and then finding a big, gigantic problem in ba sing se they had overlooked. But it doesn't seem like thats going to happen now.

Nick says that Aang failed to open all the chakras.

exactly. now he has to try and re-do the avatar state thing because he was shot down while in the middle of it so he didnt master it.

Yeah the bending was very interesting, plus the whole fire whip showed just how well water bending can be intergrated into the other bending techniques.
you must be joking. the fire whip wasnt an integration of water into fire. In Appa's lost days the ring master used the fire whip. the only time Zuko displayed anything relating to water was his first attack at azula, the smoot upward hand movement.

Just because you saw it somewhere else doesn't mean that Iroh's super spiffily smart idea hasn't rubbed off. For all we know, it's a firebending move that's based on waterbending.
