Padme Potter of Hobbiton [Q] In my expierence, most teachers end class early. Work on your homework before the bell rings, there. That's what I did, and for the most part, I never had homework that I actually had to bring home. I'm FAR too ADD to pay attention in class. Or do homework. I get distracted ALL the time, causing it to be impossible for me to get work done. I usually have to bring both classwork and homework home. Neither of which I do. Estellio Estel And who's fault is that? :/

Do you think I asked to be called lazy daily because I honestly forget to do things and no matter how hard I try am not able to stay on task with most school things for more than 10 minutes while in school? Do you think I asked to not learn a thing by homework, forget to do it, get distracted and therefore have it take hours to do a simple assignment that I don't even learn from because of an inability to stay on task? Did I ask for a long explanation that doesn't matter because you're using your 'illness' as a crutch?
If you're so convinced your ADD is ******** you over, then go enroll in a specialized learning system, as many schools have. Because OBVIOUSLY your learning disability is holding you back and you need special classes. rolleyes

If you do not know the full situation (which you do not), please do not make remarks like that. She was making a statement, and you attacked her. Don't be a drama Llama.

And I don't remember asking you to accuse me of things without knowing the whole story, but you did that anyway.
As for enrolling in a specialized learning system, I did. In a way. I enrolled for an online high school last Sunday. Estellio Estel

I've taken online classes. They're harder than the normal classes. I'd get out asap if I were you, unless you've actually seen the lesson plan and know for a fact it will be easier.
And as for the other comments, I'm pissed because from what I've seen you post I know you're smarter than to blame ADD for everything. Pretty much half the population has ADD, it's not dragging them down.
I'm tired of people holding themselves back(subconciously or not) by some stupid crutch that doesn't exist.
That's like someone crying for two hours over an F on a paper and their friend going, "You shouldn't cry about it" and the first person going "I have Depression, shut up." BIG WHOOP.

Meo luffles math, but she hates Geometry. More like, she hates the class. To much homewooork. Meo's got a life too, you know. No matter how many times she says she doesn't, she still does. I Mean comone, Meo wrote a Novel! That is sorta a life! <3
But yeah, she got a C- in geometry (Honors, migh I add D:> ), and she was afraid. Meo's parents had been threatening to take the computer in her room away if she got three Cs. What Meo wants to know is what's so wrong with being Average? So what if Meo tends to get As and Bs, she screws up sometimes, and she really doesn't like the idea that being average isn't good enough. So what if it means that she needs to work harder. Meo works hard, but no one ever notices because Meo is a wallflower in reality. ninja (She's working on not being a wallflower, she doesn't like being that way. But I still can't help but in class discussion to raisemy hand >___< I just can't help it, I don't ever like interupting, I think it's sorta rude. Teacher's older then me, I souldn't interupt. But I'm getting there, I swear! <3 )

Hard doesn't bug me. I'm smart. Like, 99th percentile on tests smart. Etcetc. All that nice high IQ and such. It's easier for ME, because of the way it's set up. And no offense, but I've made up my mind already, and nothing a person over the internet can say is going to change my mind, and believe me, you aren't the first to try. And I didn't blame ADD on everything. I said it makes it harder on me. I'm aware if I tried exceptionally hard, I could do alright. The thing is, why should I put that much stress on myself when I know I have a way that's easier for me that I can actually do? Mm, I'm fairly certain that ADD does exhist, and that I'm not holding myself down. Estellio Estel

If you raise your hand you're completely ignored. D: Doesn't help that the average student in my school is 24, anyway. So I'm already instantly looked down on as the lowest denominator.

I like math. It all makes sense, and it fits together like a puzzle, my mind just naturally works that way. However, give me a science textbook and tell me to explain exothermic and endothermic reactions and you'll get the biggest question mark expression ever.
I think it's cause numbers are real and you can see them and write them out and stuff, but with science, you can't see the atoms, you can't see the stuff happening.

With me... I understand science, I'm good at math, I overachieve in Social Studies type classes, I'm excellent at English and writing, and I'm phenomenal at art. Well, it matters what art and what english. I'm better at short stories that ceramics, but I'm better at drawing, painting, sculpting, and ZOMGSETDESIGN (which I guess includes some history depending, and hammer and nails type skills) than paper writing and book anaysis. xDD Oh the specialness.
That's strictly brain-wise, mind you. My grades don't usually reflect. xD Estellio Estel

That's strictly brain-wise, mind you. My grades don't usually reflect. xD Estellio Estel I'm good at academics and memorization, but I suck at music. So if I had to rank my skills at my current classes it would be thus: 1)English: I'm good at writing and memorizing parts of speech and grasping themes, however boring that may be 2)Geometry: It's math. I like numbers 3nodding 3) ROTC: I'm good at the memorization, the following part, the uniforms, bad at the leading. 4) Focus: It's a computer '13th year plan' class, and I'm okay at the computer part of it, I just don't like the curriculum, so I'm not too good at letter formats and stuff. 5) Band: I understand the material, I just don't can't play the clarinet to the proficiency expected at my level 6) Science: I already explained how my brain isn't programmed to work like that.
