"You must be very special then, to have such a unique curse." She chuckled at herself, finding the sarcasm in her voice somewhat amusing.
She stretched her body a little before nodding at this statement. He was right she wouldn't understand, she wasn't exactly bothered about it either. It was his curse as he called it, she could help him if it were possible but otherwise there was no point in worrying.
"Oh yes please, I can not wait to get home." Her golden eyes seemed to have the same soft smile in them as she made on her face. She was happy, incredibly happy.

Yua's eyes shot back at Tailsin as she spoke, turning swiftly to stare her dead in the eye. "Do not think that just because society has compromised my sanity, that such sarcasm falls onto tone deaf ears, and will be taken into stride." he warned, not so much in a 'superior' sort of tone, but in warning, none the less.
"I will not do well to put you into mind as like my elder sister."
.. Would he see Wiza upon returning home? Somehow, part of him was hoping he did, just so he could shove into her face how independant he'd become since leaving the pride.....
Well, he wouldn't know until he was home, he could guess.
"Now..." he again turned to head back on the course he was walking, taking long strides that almost were out of synch with his body, yet were so natural to him, it didn't feel any more 'odd' than the spirits that plagued him.
"I guess we'd better start now. We won't cover much ground today... but we can at least make a start."
One or two more posts to wrap it up?

She was a little shocked at the tone of voice he spoke back at her but it silenced her, which she guessed was the effect he had wished for. It seemed as if she would have to be incredibly careful with what she said or joked about around him, he seemed to offend easily.
She followed him, her head was quite low. She wasn't quite sure what he meant about his sister but it seemed better not to ask. She didn't want to lose him, he was taking her home.
"Covering a little ground is better then none. Thank you for taking me." She spoke sfotly again keeping any humour to herself. Maybe as she got to know him she could feel a little more comfortable around him.
sure ^_^

"She treated it as a joke, as do you." he stated, in explaination of the tender place her sarcasm had hit, triggering the defensive mechanism that he had formed oh-so-quickly as a child. Indeed, the deepest of his wounds, and the slowest to heal.
"Now..."
He hadn't looked back at her as he spoke, keeping his gaze to look ahead, while walking steadily.
"I guess, we start."
El-fin? *likes little odd endings like that*
