"But how can you say such a thing when you keep on turning from green to red?" The grin that was on his face was purely a teasing one, tormenting her with the knowledge that he knew he could make her blush, and that he would try to if he felt like it. He adored seeing her blush, but he adored her more for trying so hard to resist blushing. It was amusing him, to see her so determined, and knowing that he could break past that determination easily once a little effort was put forth. "Aww, now you're just disappointing me, love. You do not understand, when I was a child, my flirtations were child's play. Now that you and I are adult, perhaps flirtations cannot be taken so lightly." He was stealthily putting the idea into her head that he was not just casually flirting with her, but perhaps on the search for something more. He did not want to entirely mislead her, but it was true, he did want a little more.
He became silent at her question, his mind quickly working out a way that would not scare her off. But, there was none. Either she could handle the truth, or she could not. Either it would bode well for him, or not. With what seemed to be an apologetic smile, he spoke up, filling the uneasy silence with his warm voice. "I must admit that you're quite on the mark." It was as politely as he could put it, and he now watched her warily, waiting for the moment when she would stop putting up with him and leave.
Shaking his head, the smile he gave her was small and seemed filled with endless patience. "I say this to you because you are not just a lioness, and you are more interesting than nearly any other creature I have met. You intrigue me, have me watching your every movement because I want to see what you do next, what you say, how you act. I really don't know why I'm so interested in being near you. I've been interested in being near a lot of females... but for some reason, it just feels different." That was Ezeoha, always one to be truthful. He would've preferred it if he was able to explain why he was so interested in Ma'isah. It seemed to be something more than her beauty, but his mind and more importantly, his body wasn't quite willing to accept it could be something drastically more. He had just met her... it was only lust, his mind told him.
The joking tone in her voice did not go unnoticed by Ezeoha, but the urge to tell her how she could please him was almost overwhelming. His smile seemed strained, and pain was reflected in his eyes. He didn't like holding back what he so desperately wanted to get out to her, but he didn't like the thought of her leaving him. "If I told you how I truly want to be pleased, I would scare you off. So, I'm going to say that friendship is what I will accept from you, and be pleased for."

The female glanced at him with eyes of pure shades of greens; hues of emralds and jasmine, the colors swirling like mist at sea.
The lioness glanced to the male, her eyes wide letting them take in her surroundings. So peaceful, so splendid, the majestic way it was and with the situation, it all fit perfectly like a puzzle. Ma'isah knew reluctantly he was hiding something, she was quite witty at times in which she needed to be, though usually her comments were full of the childish heart in which she held. Raising a paw, she placed it down before Ezeoha, in a tempting and teasing way, she was always a joker, a modern Harlequin amongst the world of predators. "Disappoint you, that is impossible. How is that even real as I make you smile so well." She laughed, "Though I will not subdue my thoughts to you as a lion, but as a equal. Then therefore I will not, shalt not, and sware[/b[ not to blush" Little did she know, that would last about a moment or two.
As the minty lioness asked her question, a frightening silence sounded.
Eerie.
Ears flicked foward as she waited for a simple reply, her heart raced. Oh my. Did he really?! A thick blush ran over her cheeks as he responded with a sort of yes. "..." She could not speak except blush like she never had before. "You have already...thought of that....we...we-we just met." Her voice was shocked as she tilted her head in confusion, but took this as well as she could, trying to take it in as a compliment. Really it was.
Every time he spoke, his seductive tone rang in her ears. The passionate curl of his words, rang in her mind as she blinked. Once she met a lion with such a defined tone, and this lion held one as well. Slowly, the redness wore out as she smiled, hiding her embaressment from earlier. Ma'isah found him a friend, and would not leave him.
He rose her interest in many ways.
"Am I really all that great to watch? Some call me predictable. And you percieve me differently. Well Siltim and Yaten see me as this too. You will love them." She brought up her brother and second-father-best friend. Her eyes landed on his once more.
There was a look in his crimson orbs, thoughtless hope. Poor Ezeoha. Had she made him think so much? But in those fiery eyes she also noted something...a look of wicked pleasure. It made her body sting, what was that look. Twisting her face she eyed him until he spoke. Ma'isah sat tall in front of him grinning wildly. As the lion spoke, her sharp teeth shone in a shocked expression, "Aha, I can only assume. I can only assume. " She stated shaking her head and swatted him on the head. "And those thoughts of me are i-l-l-egal." Her lips curled as she flopped on the grass, her back in the lush green nature as her paws stuck out in the air. "A friendship, I must already accept that. Foolish Ezeoha, we are buddies." A soft chuckle exitted her throat as she thought of her family, a loving gaze in her eyes as she thought of them all.

"You bring to me great happiness. You make me smile and laugh, and forget for awhile that I have stresses on my shoulder. It is a wonderful gift you have given me, and I am not disappointed in that. But, as always, I have to hold back from my nature with every lioness I meet, and always will I be disappointed in that certain area." His smile was that of a lion who accepted all this, that understood that he could not change the way other lionesses reacted around him. The smile was not at all caused by Ma'isah, because to it there was just the hint of sadness, dragging down the corners of his lips just a little so the smile never reached its full potential. "Oh, please, Ma'isah, I can make you blush and you know it, so don't swear to such things." That smiled transformed itself into something more comforting, hiding his own pain for the sake of keeping up the show of being a perfect and cheerful young male, one who would be the perfect friend and never drag her down into the deep pits of depressedness.
"I am sorry," he said, ears flicking to pin themselves against the back of his skull. The knowledge was flowing inside of him, that Ma'isah had been made uncomfortable by his reply. He knew better than to say such blunt things, but he could not help it; he could not lie. So many different reactions came from different lionesses, and he had at first worried about rejection, but the blush worried him almost more. He was almost seducing her with the true, and his mind reeled back at that thought. Ma'isah was the kind of lioness who would be in for a long-term commitment, and he could almost picture himself in such a relationship with her.
He didn't understand why. It wasn't like him... It just wasn't. "My mind pays more attention to my body than it should, and regretfully it tends to jump ahead. I am sorry for the discomfort my words must've surely brought you. I'll watch my tongue, and try to keep you from blushing, though, you know, you just did swear you would not allow me to make you blush." The last comment had been thrown in to lighten the mood up, to joke around with her and reassure her that he was still seeking out a friendship. It was probably the best he was going to get.
"Siltim and Yaten?" His eyebrows crooked upwards, and he gave the kind of look that hinted that he was suspicious of these 'new' males. Ma'isah hadn't bothered on filling him in with more information about them, but she spoke abou them with such happiness that they were close to her. He did not know how close... but if they were unrelated and very close to her, he was going to feel like a fool. "Well, yes, you are that great to watch, when you don't notice that you are being watched. You are far from being predictable, even now I can tell that you'll have some... quirky surprises in store for the future."
A deep, rich chuckle spilled through his lips as he was swatted in the head, and casually he rubbed at the injured spot, eyeing her with a look that clearly said 'How could you do that to me!?'. "Making those thoughts illegal only tempt me to think of them more. Do you think that's such a good idea?" A tormenting, teasing grin was now seen, and he stood up, prancing a few steps away from her as if to keep her from swatting at him again. "Foolish? I just want reassurances you aren't going to scratch me up for flirting insistently with you non-stop!" He exclaimed, noting the loving gaze in her eyee, but deciding not to make a comment on it. That love in her eyes were not for him, but for others, or maybe one creature in particular.

The mouth of the lioness, hung open at his response, had he felt so strongly? Indeed he had. Or he was playing some cruel game with her, as if cat and mouse. Leading her to his ill-fested manner. But somehow, his manner was too cunning, and loving...it made her feel alive in some ways. What was this? Was the independent and childish Ma'isah attracted to him. No. No. There was no posibility. Of course he had those alluring eyes...the crimson color of blood, it brought a hunger to her senses. They were friends. That was what the lioness needed, a friend. Well, she had friends but he was just so different. He had a way he held himself, the mannerisms of a pure gentleman, one with no accusations.
Those emerald eyes flicked to his as she smiled, and stepped. "No, no. It is alright...just something I do not hear everyday, that is alright really. I didin't expect it...its okay." She stated looking up at him, it looked as if the male was holding something back, her eyes ran over his prominant features. Nearing him her muzzle poked at his chest, "What are you hiding in there, Ezzy?" Giving him a nickname she smiled brightly and stretched her front paw, ignoring his other apologies.
As she stood there, slowly the female removed her muzzle from his chest and blinked, her eyes unmoving from his. Somehow, she half expected there to be fireworks, their eyes...just gazing on one another's. It was bliss.
It was heavenly.
Blushing once more she shook her head, what on earth was she thinking?! This was her friend...she promised herself that and nothing more. And yet...she loved his touch, his warmth.
Ma'isah had been away from home far too long. Looking at him she nodded and chuckled, "Mmmmhm. And what does your body want...wait that is not what I meant." She blushed and turned away before taking a deep breath looking to Ezeoha. "I meant..wh..never mind."
Not finding her own words she gazed up to him and took a step back, still too close in her own comfort. Though she loved his feeling she was too nervous to be near him, too closely. Hearing his question she laughed, "You look worried? Jealous?" Raising a brow, she gazed at him wickedly in a teasing way, the way he said that would make him feel like putty in her paws. "No worries, Siltim is my brother and Yaten is like my second-father. That is all." The female mused in her own way as her paw fell in the grass.
Casting her gaze to his facial features the minty lioness waltzed up to him in a seducing and teasing way, not knowing as she paused before him, their bodies touching as she glanced upwards at him. "Tempting..oh really. How..., illegal is the only way." She crooked a brow.

To see the emotions flicker through her face, the way her mouth hung open at his response, caused him to tear up a little inside. Most surely he was scaring her away with all that he was confessing. But, he could not hide it inside of himself. She strangely made him feel happy, whole. Ma'isah was so different from Chinara, who was a very over-protective mother, and less spunky. Ma'isah was also so very different from Nuhusi who had easily seduced Ezeoha and brought him into a different stage of his life. Ma'isah was so different from them... and it was this difference he was attracted to. She was spunky, funny, kind-hearted... something that made him feel oddly compelled to stand by her side and never leave her.
"It is something you do not hear every day because it really is something that is not meant to be spoken." His alluring red eyes flickered with intense regret. He now wished he had not said such things. They were a little too emotional to be told to her. Ezeoha had just met Ma'isah, and the thoughts that were pounding in his head shouldn't have been there. He had a son... a family, and yet he wanted more, and Ma'isah was strangely drawing the want out and increasing it.
Arching an eyebrow, and shushing his emotions, he allowed his chest to rumble with laughter as she brought her muzzle against it, intending to give her a little shock. "I am hiding what I feel I need to hide for the sanity of our friendship. Do not worry over it, over me." But then her eyes had caught his own, and he found himself trapped in her gaze, those wonderful emerald eyes. He was well-trained enough not to have his mouth hanging open, but it would've if he had not such control over himself. She was gorgeous... everything he felt he needed to be happy.
But, indeed she managed to make him gape. His jaw seemed to drop to the floor as the statement came out of her mouth, which sounded positively 'dirty'. Quickly he regained control of himself, shutting his mouth and letting a cool, apologetic look come onto his face. "I understand, I do not think you would want the answer to what came out of your mouth."
He watched her back up, and once again he was sad. There were so many things going wrong in this meeting, and so many things going right. He did not know which one would win out, right or wrong. He could very well be left without a friend, without Ma'isah's beauty to gaze upon in absolutely adoration. "Ah, well then I have nothing to worry about, do I?" Good, they weren't competition...
...Competition?
Ezeoha's eyes widened slightly, as he realized that he may very well fight for Ma'isah's affection. He just couldn't picture her with another male. It seemed so wrong... so very wrong.
"The more illegal something is, the more I will want it. The more legal it is, the less I will want it. It's sort of like reverse-psychology. So it's my advice that you don't make such wonderous thoughts illegal." He chuckled, easily slipping back into good humor, hiding all that was going on within his mind.

Watching over him intently, her body pressed to his as she looked up to him. Why was he so tall, it made her feel like a shrimp in his appearance. Lifting up on her paws she dropped and shook her head as she listened, their way of speaking had responses and listening, a very common yet unique way of speaking. Leaning her head on his chest the lioness yawned in a sleepy way.
"Mmm." She said tiredly and glanced to him, her heart racing faster. Ears perked up at his strange apology for his over flirtation, "It is alright I said and listen." she tapped him with her tail as the small female closed her eyes. Purring on his chest she felt warm, it was rather nippy out and with no comfort from her family, just the warmth of him would do. Eyes tore open as she giggled and looked up, the laughter in him raged out, "Such a strange mind you hold, one I do not understand at times." Her innocence struck out as the minty female looked up to her friend akwardly. Was he teasing, or was he being a strange male again, with that flirtation overboard. Somehow she thought this idea of his must be too vulgar to say to Ma'isah.
Blushing lightly she noticed he understood her thoughts and looked down as she leaned on him. "I...sorry." She whispered into his chest and sighed changing the subject, "Why would you worry if they were not my family?" She asked, her eyes wide at him.
Somehow defence came to her.
And a feeling in her stomach, roared at her to be near him.
As he continued she eyed him and smirked, her eyes up on his as her nose burrowed into his chest further. "Illegal...well we all kn-" Pausing, she was up on her hind paws, eyeing the lion in the face while laughing. That all changed in a brief second.
Looking down, Ma'isah felt her body fall foward, making her fall on Ezeoha, and as she rolled, she glanced up and down. He was over her. Blushing she looked up at him in defiance and blinked. "Sorry.." She whispered out and looked at him. A shiver ran down her spine.

Their close proximity was rising some extent of discomfort in him. He could feel the warmth of her body washing over her, the feel of his fur brush against his own, and it was driving him insane. He wanted to lick her, confess that he was crazy over her. Unwillingly she was driving him to this point, and he knew that she did not mean to. She could not possibly know that simply being close to him made his heart flutter, his hormones sky-rocket. They were just too close, and Ezeoha was very close to losing control of his cool.
"No one has truly tried to figure out my mind, it is too vastly complicated to figure out without spending much devoted time to it." No one had truly taken the time to figure him out, to ask him why he was with so many females, why he flirted constantly. No one had bothered to try and dig deeper into him, and sometimes it bothered him. Sometimes it bothered him that other lions just didn't seem to care that much to discover there was more to him than the side that craved attention from any female in sight.
Ezeoha was not given the chance to reply to her, because she rose onto her hind paws, and fell onto him. They toppled to the ground in a heap, rolling around until they found themself in a very... compromising position. Ezeoha was sprawled on top of her, pressing her belly into the ground, and it was an intimate position; a position that was not entirely lost on Ezeoha.
His eyes widened in surprise, and he felt that distinct urge to /do/ something travel through him like an electric shock. He straightened himself up, intending to get off of her, but he didn't. He hovered over her, his body barely touching her, and at that instant everything snapped.
Ma'isah's only warning was the soft purr that vibrated in his chest. He leaned his face forward, tenderly licking the back of her neck, her apologies going unheard by him. All that he could pay attention was to her, and the delicious position that they had found themselves in. "Would it shock you... would it shock you to know that maybe... I could get jealous?" His tongue moved upwards, flicking against her ear, lavishing her with licks and attention, and very strong affection.

Eyes were open; Open to the earth and surroundings as she blushed. As he was over her the lioness felt as if the world stopped, everything was silent. Nothing mattered at all.
And this all changed when she felt a wetness on her neck; saliva.
Blushing her eyes fell on the lion above her, licking her neck and up to her cheek. Ma'isah was too shocked, he was in lust. A crazy set making him long for her. Shaking her head she sat still unsure of what to do. Ezeoha did weigh a it more than she as she blinked andheld her breath, the blood red gaze on her own.
"Ez-" She tried to speak and felt herself nearing a loss of words.
How could he be jealous?! He hardly knew her....and now they were in such an odd position. Blushing the girl shook her head as she breathed in unsure of what to do. She could always bite him, but he was a friend. This was too much. Blushing in embarressment, her body lay beneath him as she tried to speak.
Every time she looke dup she felt her heart race, but not in a way it should.
This was not good, she couldn't speak, eyes widened as she rang out his name, "Ezzy...please...st-" Halting again her breath overtook her as his licks returned, was she really that attractive to the poor lion? But she just met him, how could she catch his fancy so fast? A thick blush ran in her cheeks as she fidgetted. "Ezzy..." She felt his licks and shook her head, her mind spinning.

He heard her voice, the beginning of that word, the word that would tell him to stop, and it was enough. His tongue halted in the midst of licking her again, and the sudden stop was eerie. Then his tongue slowly withdrew, and the feel of his body against her own slowly disappeared, soft footsteps against the lush ground reassuring Ma'isah that he was getting off of her.
It had not been close to a full word, but yet it was enough to make him stop. He did not want to do anything that would make Ma'isah uncomfortable, but he had, and he knew it. Ezeoha had lost control of his body, and his poor mind had been pushed into the background with no strength of its own. But, when Ma'isah spoke up, her voice helped to draw out his mind, to strengthen it so it could once again control his body, instead of letting his body control his mind. If Ma'isah had not spoken up, he could've entirely lost himself. By speaking up, she had saved herself, and probably him as well.
Unbearable pain would've come with doing something to her that she did not agree with. It would've been too much for him, and he would be left disgraced and ashamed of himself.
He continued to back away, putting a good five feet between them. He didn't dare get close to her, and if she turned to look at him, there was pain in his eyes, undeniable pain and suffering. It had hurt him to do what he did to her; it had hurt them both. But, his pain would not make up for what he did, and probably apologies wouldn't as well. But, still, he showed them, because it was all he knew what to do in this situation.
He seated himself down on the ground, reassuring her that he would not get up and get close to her if she did not want him to. His head bowed, and sadly he stared at the earth underneath him. "I am sorry... I am s-so terribly sorry. I... lost control, I shouldn't have. I will leave now if that is your wish; what I have done is too great to be ignored."

Watching him as he licked her, her eyes fell on him. The tongue that had worked it way through her fur halted, and she gulped. He understood. Blushing deeply, Ma'isah felt horrible and looked up to him, her eyes on the lion's before her. A twinge of pain in her heart as she saw a moment of saddness in his eye, a pain look. Her heart failed to flutter, had she hurt him?
Glancing to him as she parted, his body was lengths away, and now this made her feel like the bad being. The lioness' head fell as she sighed, her minty fur now resembled a watermelon, the green and reddish-pink tint.
As she stared sigh listened to him apologise, and felt her heart almost break. His voice. "Ezeoha..." She said saddly, looking at him and seeing the pain in his eyes. Nearing him slowly, she half expected him to part and move away. The female's look was sincere as she approached and paused in front of him. "Don't apologize, it is an honest reaction....I know lust is tempting, and I cannot put you up for any grudges. Please, look at me, don't walk away and turn from me." She pleaded, her emerald eyes on his as she blinked and ran her muzzle along his side, pulling away. "It is my fault anyways, I fell on you..for that I am sorry." Her small voice sounded odd, with a tinge of embarressment.
Ma'isah never had another groom her besides her mother and father, and Yaten. And he...had done so. Was that a sign of affection?
In her thoughts, she gazed to him and stood before him staring, "Please answer me?" She aked and shook her head, "No I want you to stay with me, don't leave please." Somehow she took the guilt to herself, as if she made him lick her. The girl's eyes rose to look into his, oh the painful look in his eyes killed her as her expression went to solemn.

He felt his throat constrict, the muscles in his legs harden as he prepared to flee. But, Ma'isah had not told him to go, and thus he did not. In his mind, as long as he did everything she told him to do... things would turn out to be alright. A little bit of him doubted that reasoning, still feared that she would turn away from him because he couldn't keep control over himself. Ma'isah had every right to turn him away, to shun him, and it was confusing him that she was daring to get closer after that little episode.
Touching him with her muzzle seemed to make him shudder, giving him a distinct reminder of what he had possibly just ruined between them. There couldn't be any friendship, not after what he had done. It was torture for her to be talking to him, telling him that everything wa alright and that she forgave him. She shouldn't even be considering forgiving him, let alone coming this close. As she continued to speak, he shook his head, as if finding himself incapable of doing what she wanted him to do. He had to leave... he could not look at her again.
But, even as those thoughts were rushing through his mind, his head was lifting up at her command, those startling red eyes, mirroring such pain, fixing upon her green jewelled ones. "It is a reaction I should've had control over... No other lion would act as I have acted." That was probably true. Ezeoha had permitted himself to indulge in casual lusts, and thus he never had proper control of it. Other lions, who were mainly monogamous, did not suffer from such troubles as he did. It was unfortunate, and came from how he lived his life.
"It is not your fault for falling on me. A normal lion would have reacted playfully and probably shove you around a little and coax you into a game. Another lion would not have... hit on you like that. So, it is no one's fault but my own." With another shake of his head, he resigned to stay. He could not leave her when the tone of her voice even spoke out to him. He could not bring himself to cause her the pain of his departure, though she should've felt nothing for it. "I will not leave until you tell me to do so."

Frantically looking to the lion she blushed darker than ever before, her eyes on his as she watched, no she did not want him to leave her. Rather, she actually wanted him to stay and try to forget this whole scenario. Though saddly, Ma'isah knew that it would nnever leave her or his mind. Running eher tail on his side she glanced in his eyes, he had such fury and pain. "I am sorry, I did not mean to cause you such atrocity..." She spoke softly and sighed her eyes going up to meet his once more.
Just a faint look and she felt sick to her stomach, at blame for his sudden depressed state.
It was her fault, she denied his loving ways. It made her feel horrible inside, but in her gut she knew she did the right thing, if she hadn't of been able to have said a thing, he might have tried more. Those darling gemmed eyes stared at his in wonderment. She hated the look in his face, guilt. The word stung her thoughts. Is that what he felt? Pair in his actions? Blushing the lioness leaned closer as he pulled away, trying to make him stay put. "Ezzy, other lions would react in such ways, temptation is something that is natural. Please stay." Her muzzle ran over his chest as she glanced upwards, hoping he would stay. If she left she would feel guilty herself. Lost, and alone.
As the minty female neared him once more she shook her head and poked him with her paw, "And you will not go because I am not letting you." Rage burned in her eyes as she stared to him, she did not want him to leave so she burried her face in his chest.

"Ma'isah, Ma'isah," the words were spoken softly, with a gentle shake of his head that sent his mane spilling over his shoulders and into his eyes. "I will not tell you again, but none of this is your fault. The blame can only be laid on my shoulders. You did nothing but be yourself." Of course, if that was the case, then Ezeoha could not be blamed for what he did, because he did nothing but be himself. Though, it was himself with a little wilder edge, it was still himself. If one looked at the situation from that point of view, the two of them ending up in such a position was inevitable. Nothing could've prevented it if they acted like how they were. It was cruel fate, and both of them would just have to try and pull through it.
Ezeoha was being put through more torture the more times she touched him. She could not know how strongly his body was reacting to her very presence, because if she did she would flee. It was Ezeoha's greatest fear, that she would just get up and leave, abandon him and leave him with this great ache in his heart. He suddenly did not know why it would traumatize him so to have her leave, but it would, and he just couldn't picture surviving without her friendship, without the hope for a little more. "I cannot leave if you ask me to stay... I really do not want to, though the guilt is... overwhelming. I took advantage of the situation. I shouldn't have, I really shouldn't have."
His eyes widened with shock, and he stared at her in complete surprise. He could hear the determination in her voice, the will to make him stay, and it stilled all thoughts of running away from the situation. Once her head was buried into his chest, he couldn't move, and in face, a paw lifted, wrapping gently around the smaller female's body, pulling her close into a comforting embrace. Nothing devious was intended, just a cuddle for the both of them. They needed the touch, the comfort, and for once, he just wanted to hold someone. "With you so determined, I would not be able to go... So I will no try."

As the young lioness gazed up to the lion, she blinked as she listened to him speak. He had such a powerful mind, despite his over flirtation. And yet somehow, it was a great personality. This was a friend of which Ma'isah would love to just hang out with, never in her mind entered love.
Love.
It was something that never really grew on her throughts, of course she knew her parents and family sort of love, but the love of two beings towards another, was something that the female would laugh and grin at. Still at heart, she was a cub and never had Siltim and her conversed on such deep and moody topics, instead they would hase and cause havoc...they still do. But thanks to her lack of navigation, the female had gotten lost on her way back to the Pridelands and somehow this lion stumbled upon her very presence.
Eyeing him once more, she glanced upwards as her face was buried in his chest, somehow his protection felt like the content feeling of being in one of her family member's hold, oh on some of those nights she wanted to be near Siltim or in Yaten's hold. And this comfort....was just near the same.
Blushing lightly, Ma'isah still rested in Ezeoha's hold, her eyes shut as this friendly cuddle-hold made her comfort level rise once more. Even though it grew a bit nippy in the air, her thoughts were on Ezeoha, and what drove him to flirt so much? Or at least to her? Never had she had such an admirer. Sighign for abrief moment, the lioness breathed out on his fur and coughed, her eyes looking up to his own. "Hm, anyhow. It is getting late....care to show me how to get home?" She teased and stayed in his hold, oh she wanted to see her family and Yaten and Satinka....her family.

He felt himself sigh, that deep, sad sound that curled in the back of his throat before etching itself lightly against the surrounding air. She wanted to go home, and though he knew that he would probably see her again, to release her from his grip seemed too unbearable. There was a strange comfort in holding her, a comfort that reassured him that she was not going to flee because she was frightened of him. No, Ma'isah would not look down upon him for one simple mistake. She was so far above that level that he scolded himself for thinking she'd dismiss him from her presence just like that.
Lingering inside of his mind was anxiety, great anxiety at the thought of taking her home and never seeing her again. It was highly probable that her parents would know something of him and warn Ma'isah of him. Most elder lions did not approve of Ezeoha's indulgences, and sometimes it made things more difficult for him when he wanted to flirt with a pretty female who had over-protective parents. Ezeoha was hoping that Ma'isah's parents were a little more laid back and would not jump on the suspicion that he only wanted to reproduce with their daughter.
It was not untrue that he wanted to, but it was untrue that he would do it just because he wanted to. No, Ma'isah would have to give consent to anything that he did with her. He was, underneath all of his personality flaws, an honorable lion. Never before had he done anything unwanted with a female. This incident with Ma'isah had been the first time his control had slipped, and he had no idea as to the reason why.
"I would be glad to." He told her with a warm smile, and reluctantly he moved back and away from her, turning around so that she got a clear view of his butt. Turning his head to the side, he winked at her, and called out provocatively. "Coming?" Jokes always seemed to make things better, and thus Ezeoha fell immediately into teasing her. He would probably continue to do so on the way to her home, but perhaps she would be able to make him shut up. Perhaps.
