a soul is like a person, a spirit is like a demon (that's just a form of a spirit, there are many many more)
a soul is like a pure spirit, supposedly it is incapable of bearing sin.(heard some preacher say that once, but i think he was insane)
animals have spirits, we have souls. (i'm sorry if this offends you)

but is it possible for humans to make a soul that would have to be perfect to even be a soul?
first i'd think you would have to obtain perfection, which isn't really an option...

What is perfection? I tend to hold that perfection is all things at once. As such, nothing is perfect right now, because everything is perfect. A soul is separate from everything else, and is as such, imperfect on its own, but perfect in the whole.

Humans are incapable of creating perfection, only embodyijng it.

How would a soul be incapable of sin, I wonder?

Taoism holds that spirit and energy are the yang side of things, and matter is the yin side. A soul must come from an interaction of both. Thus, the difference between Spirit and Soul is Physical Form.
