Degewi was shocked by her touching him all the sudden but he calmed in a moment. How was he to tell the two legger what was happening. He threw his head in the direction he had come from the nudged her giving a snort. He repeated this action over and over hoping she would understand.

Saika squinted at the large stallion, and stared at the basket lid in her hands. Her eyes widened at the similarity, and she realized who this strange stallion was. "Oh! You're Degewi! Myoa's having birth? Let me get the baskets!" She stumbled through the sand in shock as she returned to the tepee, grabbing the baskets and racing back to Degewi.
