Aha, conversations about the thousand and one genres. Well, I must say that I happen to like Amon Amarth, and they seem to sing a lot about Vikings and Nordic Gods....
And what could be more Viking than singing along with Thyrfing about his ship that is sinking?

People already said Ensiferum and stuff.. So "Trollfest", I think it's Folk Metal..

Nyghtbringer I know.....It sounds like black metal with the lyrics intertwined. Right? not at all... ever listened to Ensiferum? A good example of Viking Metal but it doesn`t sound like black at all.... surprised Folk and Viking both sound very unique 3nodding

So I am being told it is black metal with a different style to it, and now it is not....and blah blah blah.
Folk Metal, as I see, is another one ov those genres that fade in admist the Devil Metal genre.
On another note, I will go and purcahse a few ov these albums, and be more in the know about what this Folk Metal genre is. Apparently I had some clue....But not much ov one.
