Taren smiled to himself it was the perfect hidings place, well in his option, he pulled more levees over himself but the only managed in pushing of the ones that he had put on before, he didn't seem to notice though and settled down happily, not noticing the large clumps of his velvety black fur showing through his covering either, at least he was under the bush as well, which would offer a little more concealment.
His ears twitched trying to listen for the boy coming and he put his stomach to the ground even unaware of the fact himself that he was waiting to feel the vibrations the boy's steps made through the ground.
"Well at least there is two of you to share the experience." She pointed out to him thinking that would be a defiant plus although she found it highly stressful living with a equal partner, it might sound a little power crazy but her kids knew that she was in charge and they relied on her as well so that wasn't so bad.
"yea, quite a few of them have grown up though so it's not so bad. They even help me out with this one sometimes." yea if she could get them off their lazy asses but she didn't mention that. She was still mellowed from the soothing effects of nicotine so she didn't want to ruin it with any stressful thoughts.
"yea, those techs though, bloody hell they creep me out and they might by geniuses but the've all got a few screws lose if you ask me. Nice to talk to someone that seems a little more sane," She said looking over at him with a jilted smile

Valens was shifting back and forth on his hooves as he went through his last few numbers just wanting to get them over with so that he could get to the good part of the game, the finding, "Sixteen, seventeen, eightteen..." He was almost bouncing now, the hands over his eyes twitching a little with his urge to run off, "Nineteen... twenty!" The last number and the horse boy bolted in a random direction, running a short distance before recalling what it was exactly that he had to do in this game. The hide part was over and now it was seek time... So he started seeking the other boy, his tail swishing back and forth as he did so.
"Ahh, grown children I can see as useful." He mused, that would be nice. When Valens was older there would be responsibilities going his way, people needed them to keep them in line. Chores, plus the classes the kids were to take on top of the whole caring for a dragon thing. So much that would help put Valens on the right path. For now though it was much harder, teaching the most simple things proved to be a challenged. Like counting and the like, things that he had no real idea of how to teach since it was forever since he'd been a kid himself.
LaVey gave Silen a wide eyed look as she declared him to be someone that seemed sane, that was different then some insults he'd had thrown his way. In fact it rather made him laugh, "Sane isn't a word I hear often but thank you, I am gonna take that as a compliment."

Taren stayed crouched pretty much statue still as he heard the counting fade off and the soft thud of hooves against the grass as the horse boy approched, he let out a little giggled as he watched between the leves and Valens went in completly the wrong direction, silly. He clamped large paws/hands over his mouth to stiffle the sound but at the same time accidently rustling some of the nearby dead and dry leaves. This was more fun than he expected. even if the horse boy's energy was alittle alarming.
"Hah, deffinatly not useful, out from under your feet more and generaly less maintance but still a pain in the a**." She replied just thinking to her small family, yep deffinatly still a pain, "I'm sort of dreading what will happen with a dragon around the house as well, it'll be chaos."She sighed and turned hher head towards the two children, she could tel where her adooptive so was hiding stright away hearing the faint giggle. She wonderd if she would have taken him even without d-corps blackmailing skills put to use.
She glanced back at Lavey at his comment and grinned. "Sane by my standards by the way, which you might want to think about and rember I'm coparing you tothe D-dorp Techs, Sane in commaprission. So well you can take it how you like."

Valens' ears flicked back and forth hearing a giggle but it was rather quiet so while it gave to him a tiny clue it didn't totally point out where the one he was searching for. He did turn on his hooves to start in the other direction, there was no more sound though so he would have to get to searching with out that. His hooves made the occasional 'clickclick' as he went across rocks as he walked causing him to look down at them, wow. He was most certainly not cut out for sneaking was he? Good thing this wasn't a sneaking game.
"That will be interesting, never thought that I would see a live dragon in my day nevermind have a son that was partners with it." In his mind it was a bit hard to grasp the idea of that, to grow, learn with, and train a dracling.
LaVey laughed, "That I come out as being more sane then the techs I will take then as a definate compliment." He said, they were very... odd people weren't they? The one they had spoken with had been in such a rush that it was hard to get information out of him that made much sense.

When the clip clopping of the horse boy's hooves neared Taren automaticaly ducked down furterd into the leafy bed, Sin of course was going to be thrilled as by this point he was throughtly coverd in bits of twig, leaves and most importantly mud and dust. Still he rather enjoyed it and didn't even realise that it would lead to a bath. Somthing which he most deffinatly preeferd to avoid.
Silen realised while she'd been talking the cigreete had regretfully burned down to the butt and she let it fall to the floor stamping it out with her boot, and sighing knowing she hadn't gotten full use out of it and damnit, cigrette's were expensive.
Odd may just be the understatement of the centery in sin's option, well at least the one's that she had met had all been bloody looped. She smiled. "well that's okay then, glad you agree with me. Oh and don't worry if I meet your partner I won't tell her you lost him." she said with a grin motioning to Valens.

Valens paused, looking around as he heard the movements of the leaves waiting to see if maybe it had been wind that had done it. Not to windy out here though so... his ears flicked back and forth before he started to creep forward towards the bushes. They would be the best place start the search.
He laughed, "That would be most appreciated." He said, all he needed then was for Valens himself not to say anything then he should get out of that possible situation free of harm.
He turned to look over to where Valens was, walking around the hiding place of the other boy, peeking in it here and there trying to find a way in or a sign of the other child. As he was buried though Valens had yet to find him.

Taren went still as Valens approched, almost instinctively, althrough his brght pink nose stil stuck out of the leaves to allow him t breath and patches of the purple shirt showed through where he had failed to cover himself the rest seemed pretty well hidden, Taren was amzed though that the horse boy hadn't spoted him stright away and made the mistake oftrying to burry himself deeper rustling the leaves.
Silen shok her head watching the the two, seemed her own son hadn't caught on to the rules of hide and seek yet, well atleast the not giving yourself away part,She looked over at Lavey. "anyway thanks for being my smoking partner, nice to have someone that shares in the habbit to talk to."

Valens froze in place hearing the sounds of someone movingin the push again, this time catching sight of the one inside and he gave an excited sound, "Ah!" He jumped forward, into the bush to try to catch/tackle the other boy, "Founded you!"
LaVey gave a groan as Valens dove into the bush headfirst that the other child was in, "Hes going to need a bath." He murmured to himself, he wondered if he could duck out of that one? Say he'd been playing with him all day so Lamiah should give the bath.
"I have enjoyed getting to have a peaceful smoke and not hear about the fact that my lungs are going to hate me later." They could hate him all they wanted later, so long as he was able to enjoy his bad habit now.

Taren squeaked as he felt the other boy tackle him and they both rolled out of the bushes endeding up a sprawld tangle of oddly shaped animallist limbs and leaves and mud, the would most deffinatly both need a bath. Tarn was giggling loudly as he tried to wrigle himself free. It semed the boy was unusaly hardy for his tempermant. He'd survived enough cave in's from his experimental use to his claws.
Silen groaned and rolled her eyes. "I winder how long it will take me to get all the dirst out of his fur this time." she mused t herself, as also baths were quite a regular occasion with a digger very fond of dirt and sand as her ward.
"my lungs can hate me all they want, proably get killed off my smoking habit get s a chance to come back and bite me in the as anyway." she pointed out. "Ahh guess I should take him home soon and get him cleaned up." she said learly not relishingthe task.

LaVey gave a laugh as he watched the boy's come tummbling out of the bushes, he didn't ever remember hide and seek including tackling but... as the other boy was giggling he figured there was no reason to scold Valens for adding new rules to the game.
"I bet if I have him go in the house first I Lamiah will bathe him." He mused outloud to himself. Yes... he would try that especially after seeing how dirty he'd gotten playing such a simple game, "Or maybe a hose..."

"A hose..." Silen moused as if seriously considering this as a viable option. After all her apartment was muddy enough as it was without leave and mud from the park everywhere. "see it's times like this I wish i could dump my kids on some unlucky sod. Tell Lamish I wish her luck with this one." she said laughing slightly as she looked over at the horse boy. "he looks like he has lots of energy and the strength to cause some problems. "like I said better take this one one to get a bath."
She turned her head towards the boys and whistled. "Taren hun come here we are going home." Taren looked up and the small velvet black ears wilted. "B...but...." "no buts come here." she said firmly. The mole boy took a while to pull himself free of Valens and trot over holding up his arms to be picked up. Silen only shock her head. "uh uh mister, you're cobverd in mud you can walk today." the boy pouted but didn't say anything else.

Valens pushed up to his hooves and followed along after Taren, a smile on his lips as he tracked dirt along after himself. He paused a moment to shake off and some of the dirt went flying while the majority remained clinging steadfast to his hair and dark colored skin, Gotta go?" He asked looking up at his father with huge, dark eyes. That was a bit disapointing it had been fun to play with Taren!
"Yeah, your gonna get a bath." LaVey said, crushing some of the dirt off himself that the boy had gotten on him. He gave a little laugh at the wide eyed look of horror that Valen's got on his face. A bath? Baths meant getting in the tube, getting cleaned off, dried off, then if he were really unlucky having to sit down while his mother combed out his mane and tail!
Lucky for LaVey he knew the look in Valens' eyes and was astep ahead of him, the colt turned on his hoof and was about to bolt and had he done that LaVey wouldn't have caught up, but before he could though Lavey scooped him up and held him around the waist under one arm, "None of that, its time to go."
LaVey looked over to Silen, "Its been fun."

Silen and Taren both watched the display, Silen with wild amusement since the things that seemed to bring so much horror for the horse boy was actually an activity that Taren quite liked, getting fussed over and clear, then getting his hair brushed by his mother and lastly being able to curl up nice and clean infront of the telly with his mother, it was all good because it involved him getting attention.
In fact the mole boy turned to his guardian and blinked up at her asking in a hopeful voice. "Will I get a bath too?"when his adoptive parent gave an affermative nod he beamed and bounced a little even a little consolidated on not being picked up, Valens got a bath and got to be carried, lucky. He wasn't shy about telling him so either.
Silen chuckled seeing the differences of option there and shook her head. "Well come on Tarrie." She looked up as she turned to go, looking toward LaVey again. "Yea it has been fun, like I said we should get these two together again so maybe I'll see you around, or at least around D-corp. So see ya." with that she turned away. Taren still looking up at the horse boy till he realised his mother was going at which point he hurried after her grabbing on and clinging to her hand.
