Chachili nuzzled her fawns softly, and her eyes glistened with pride.
"My little ones," she sighed, and licked their foreheads lovingly, "Welcome to the world."
She felt so proud... yet, she also felt sad. Would these two girls ever know of the older brothers they had? Would they ever fear that Chachili would give them away, too?
Chachili decided, then and there, that the brothers would remain a secret. She would keep them safe, and would shelter them from fear.
"Pura," she whispered, "Mkimya."
Then, she looked to Jibanza and X, her onlookers. They had witnessed the birthing. Jibanza, embarrassed, gave a blush.
"I... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to-" the wild dog stuttered, but was silenced by Chachili.
"It's okay," Chachili said softly, and turned her eyes back to her little ones, "We're all alive. There was no harm done. Even if their was, that's the Circle of Life."
Jibanza, not convinced, looked away, ashamed. Chachili dipped her head with respect to the hyena.
"Thankyou."

X dipped his head back to the Klipspringer. A smirk played on his face at Ban's attempts to apologize.
"Come on Ban," The red-eyed hyena said turning from where he was. "Oh, and Chachili. I met someone a few suns back that had a similar scent to yours. He said his name was Kukuru. Do you know him?" X asked before turning all the way. He waited for an answerfrom the grey Klips. He wouldn't leave yet.

Chachili blinked, and pain clouded over her eyes. He'd met Kukuru? No...
No.
"Ah..." she paused, then looked away, "A similiar scent to me? You must not have scented a lot of klipspringers in your day, hyena. They all smell the same."
She paused, then looked away.
"I'm sorry. I don't know anyone by that name."
Her voice was cold, harsh, and it quivered.
Jibanza licked X's ear, silent.
"Come on, X," she whispered, beckoning him with a paw, "Let's go."
It seemed like it had started raining again.

"Um, Okay. Sorry for troubling you," X said.
Xx'ami-da turned to walk away with Jibanza. He'd seen something for emotion in the Klipspringer's eyes.
Regret?
Pain?
He shook that out of his mind. He'd tell Kukuru if he met him again. Maybe...

"Ulo what the bally hell's goin' on here then?" A dark eared hare appeared as if by magic, one minute she wasn't there and the next she was, her deep chocolate brown eyes assessed the scene quietly and her nose quivered a bit. She clipped a foot off the ground as she looked at the little klipspringer and her newest litter with a raised brow. "Well well, if it aint Chachilli, ow ya doin'?" Induna beamed as she hopped forwards ignoreing the predators around her, Induna was just a little insane, she feared very little in the way of predators, she was convinced she could give them what for.
Still, for a moment she was quiet and her dark nose touched the little fawns. "Bally hell, thought I was bad, gots one 'o these little raggamuffin's me self yanno?" She grinned "Bloody men, they don't tell ye that when you're out an about you'll end up up the duff and givin birth and junk. Rediculous thas what it is."
The dark eared hare sat up suddenly then and eyed the two predators curiously. "I'm bout thinkin this is a predator convention wot?" Both brows raised as her long ears waggled comically. She was pretty damn glad the birth of her son hadn't been so god damn public! Sheesh.
((hope ye don't mind XD! induna aint seen her springy friend in ages!))

Chachili's ear flicked. The sound of a voice, and a heavy hare accent. The words, all twisted into a jolly but crazy way of speaking.
The klipspringer, stunned, whirled around.
"I... Induna?!" her eyes widened, and suddenly, Chachili forgot the mention of her son, and forgot all the woes she had. Induna! Induna was here!
The predators seemed to have left, and with them they must have taken Chachili's sadness. And now... the hare who had taught her boxing was here! Chachili could hardly believe it.
"Y...you've got a fawn?!" she grinned, and then corrected herself, "Uuuh... kit, I mean? A son? Well, that's just... ha! Is he as good a boxer as you, Induna?"
Her eyes were suddenly bright. She was so relieved. Her teacher, out of the blue, had popped up right before her eyes. But she was also tired.
"These are my daughters," she said, a little less energetically, nudging her newborns. Gosh. All this meet and greet was tiring. She'd just given birth, for goodness sakes!

Pura blinked blearily at the hare, eyes unfocused. She attempted for a long moment to stay upright, and then toppled awkwardly to the ground again, and made the wise choice to stay there, for now. Exhausted by the entire process of being forced into this bright new world, the fawn yawned and closed her eyes, tucking her forelegs to her chin and curling next to her sister.

Induna grinned "yeah i have a kit, tho he aint really a kit no more, his names kuukeni, i's mah little lad." The female hare huffed when her deer friend asked her if he was a boxer. "Na, the lads a huge wuss. I can't beleived I raised a pansy yanno?" she snorted unhappily her nostrils flareing.
Her chocolate brown eyes fell upon the little fawn whom wriggled about though and she chuckled softly. "well weell, alo theer lil' un, howsit hangin' hmm? you gunna be fiesty as ya mam when ya grow up?" She grinned then looking at chachili with a wink. "I'ma guessin' you'll be damned exhausted, I'll leave ya in peace wot? Mebe I'll come back, bring my lad with me." She smiled questioningly. She knew full well taht giving birth was hard work, she guessed the little klipspringer probably needed some sleep. Even though she wanted to stay and chat, maybe even see how chachili was getting on with her boxing. She needed sleep. She could wait til another day.

Chachili chuckled, and nudged Pura and Mkimya lovingly.
"You bet they'll grow up to be as fiesty as I am!" she winked, though she wasn't really sure of that, "Maybe they'll grow up enough to be able to be taught boxing, you know?"
Her eyes glittered with humour, and she took to the hare's words kindly, grinning at the mention of her 'pansy' son.
"Ha!" she snorted, after Induna had finished, "Who would have thought? Such an active, dangerous being as yourself... but then, maybe you're judging him too hard. It's hard to believe that the offspring of the master of boxing could be a 'pansy', as you say," she blinked, "I'd love to meet your Kuukeni, to see him myself."
'Wouldn't it be fantastic?' she thought, nodding to herself, 'Induna's here! And she has a little one, too! Though, she must have had him some time ago... if he's not a kit anymore.'
She wondered whether it was during the same time Kukuru and Makuu had been born, and flinched painfully. Maybe Kuukeni was around about the same age... her first twins would be adults by now...
She shook her head, and left the thought alone. She couldn't bear to think about them. It was all... too much. Slowly, she turned her attention back to Induna.
"I'ma guessin' you'll be damned exhausted, I'll leave ya in peace wot? Mebe I'll come back, bring my lad with me."
Chachili's eyes flashed with gratitude at what Induna had suggested. She, too, wished for a great conversation... to learn more about boxing, to see her teacher's son, to have a great big chat with her old friend. But her eyelids were already dropping, and she felt... so tired.
"Thankyou for coming, Induna," she whispered, gratefully, "I'd love to see your son. And... feel free to pop by the HighGrass at any time..."
She gave the energetic hare a grin.
"Heh," she snorted, before lowering her head, "I'm free to take you on anytime, too! I've been practicing!"
She hadn't, of course, but this was just Chachili's way of saying...
Let's have a chat sometime soon, alright?
