((;xD *snugs on Andie*))

Nagendra's ear tweaked when his shoulder was touched to indiciate the male was not truly making a joke of him. The canine tilted his head at the grin he was receiving, truly finding it cute. "You're adorable..." he laughed into his hand. "A strange one at that." of course, it was in the friendliest tone a person could manage -- he was making sure not to make fun of Alek, just like the other was making sure not to offend him.

He took delicate steps, listening to the compliment he recieved with a small smile. "... Thanks, Aleksandir. You're a real life-saver." he sighed, halting for a moment to change the positioning of his bags and allow his wounded hand to feel a bit more at ease.

"..." the wolf muttered something to himself about needing to pay a bit more attention, and was on his way again.

Alek blinked at the comment, and wasn't all that sure it was meant to be a compliment or an observation made aloud. Eh, either way he'd take it as a compliment. As for the comment on him being strange, he simply grinned-- a little less charming and boyish-- before giving a light shrug. "Then I suppose that would make two adorable and strange wolfs walking on the street," He replied as he gave a very soft laugh, shaking his head softly.

"Nagendra, you really do not have to keep thanking me. So long as you are happy, then no thanks are needed," He said softly as he glanced towards the other wolf male before turning to look up towards the sky.

At the small mutter, he glanced towards Nagendra and raised a brow softly. "Really, Nagendra... if your hand is bothering you, I would not mind carrying a few of those bags at all..."

Flirting...? He wasn't sure... it wasn't something that happened much to Nagendra, so how in god's name would he know if Alek was doing so now...? The male listened to his objections to the vocalizations of gratitude. "If you say so..." he whispered, ears flattening quietly again. He supposed it was just a reflex he had grown into... though the wolf did not quite recall seeing flat-ears listed in any medical book.

"It's alright." he repeated, hating even the thought of making the other male do any bit more for him. "Please don't worry about it." he kept tired golden eyes staring ahead of him, hoping his nerves would calm.

Aleksandir provided fun company -- it was just clear to the wolf now. He was... attracted, and dear god... Nagendra wasn't the type to even do such a thing. It made him feel strange. The wolf had always thought he'd end up marrying -- god knew... a bird for christ's sake! Apparently he loved them enough... he ran into poles just to listen to them.

Frankly, Nagendra was not the type to get so comfortable, yet here he was getting a bit too cozy when he probably shouldn't have. The male was just uncertain, and uncertainty was horrid. And horrid always made Nagendra jumpy. And a jumpy Nagendra always led to bad things.

His nerves sometimes made him sick. And he had already gone through sickness with Rae, and regretted it -- he didn't want to do the same thing with Alek.

He wanted to apologize, but had a bad feeling that he shouldn't. He didn't know what to say sorry for in the first place. The words just always seemed to get him out of trouble when he was at home.

"Alright, Nagendra, if you insist," Aleksandir said quietly with a soft smile before he looked off in the distance ahead of them. It was starting to get foggy, and a bit chilly, but the sky was still crystal clear. Often those around him got his politeness mixed up with flirting and.. things didn't turn out quite so well, so he was hoping that things would go smoothly between him and Nagendra.

The last thing he wanted to do was lose a potential friend. So far he had only run himself into trouble. A vampire wanting to feed on him, everyone shoving boys his way to persue sexual acts with him, and the fact that he had to deal with there being no women, and that he found Nagendra slightly attractive.

Dear God, just what did he do to deserve all of this? Admittedly, he could see all the reasons as to why he found Nagendra attractive clearly. Polite, sweet, gentle, polite... generally he had been drawn to those characteristics in women. Not only that, but Nagendra was handsome.

Gah! Not those thoughts again! What was wrong with him? For all he knew, women could just be harder to find in this damn place and Nagendra could be straight as an arrow! Shaking his head softly at his own thoughts, he simply gave a very light sigh and continued walking, not knowing what to say with such thoughts running through his mind.

Alek's thoughts were embarassing him... and embarassment mixed with Alek never meant good things. See, embarassment lead to nervous, and nervous led to doing something very stupid or regretable.

The last time he had gotten embarassed, he got very nervous. That led him to kiss the girl who had made him nervous, and that made him more nervous... and that led them to the bedroom.

Shaking his head, he sucked in a deep, calming breath, as if simply enhaling the fresh air. Calm down. He needed to calm down. If he didn't, he would surely end up kissing the other wolf male, or worse.

Oh dear, that would not be good. No, no. Calm down. No kissing. No, no, no.

"Alek...?" Nagendra had stopped his forward movement when he acknowledged the other's panicking features. "... Are you alright?" he furrowed a brow, trying to put a finger on what exactly might be bothering the other male.

Did I do... something wrong?

Frankly, Nagendra wasn't the type to often get other people embarassed --- mostly because he was so... well, clumsy, he often made things worse for himself, rather than other individuals. The male forced his legs to go forward so he could stand next to Aleksandir, golden eyes appearing as concerned as he felt.

Okay, dropping his own problems would be worth it if he could help the other male.

His tail twitched delicately behind him and the male waited for the other wolf anthro to say something, anything, to cause his worrying to vanish in a type of wispy white cloud.

Canine-like ears twitched several times from a cold breeze, but other than that, Nagendra didn't move. Not an inch. He was too afraid to even make the slightest action, for some reason -- god knew why, it just happened to be that way.

Maybe his body shut down...? Alright... it wasn't that cold. In all seriousness, the male didn't want to move, he just wanted to know what was wrong.

"Hmm?" Slowly Alek stopped his forward movements as well to turn and look at Nagendra. Was he alright? He was panicking, getting nervous-- those were never good. So, could he honestly say he was alright? Well, no... but he couldn't stand seeing the concerned look in those golden eyes and on that soft face. It made him more nervous than he already was.

"Oh yes, I'm quite alright, Nagendra. Just... lost in a bit of thought," Aleksandir hadn't realized that he had become so comfortable as to pick up contractions into his speech.

If he had noticed, surely he would have panicked even more than he already was.

"Are you alright, Nagendra?" He inquired softly, vivid green eyes staring up into golden eyes as he leaned back against a street light. Why did he feel so odd? Nervously odd...

Embarassment was something he was used to feeling, but he didn't get nervous unless he had been drinking-- something he hadn't done since the day he arrived here.

Thoughts continued to circle through Alek's mind as he focused on the other wolf male, trying to figure out what exactly was making him so nervous.

The embarassment was simple: He found another male attractive... but he only got nervous when there was something he wanted to do-- but only god knew what he wanted to do, because he sure as hell couldn't figure a damn thing out on his own.

Nagendra was still concerned... but he tried to hide it as he nodded. "I'm fine..." he replied gently through smooth lips, placing his bags down and sitting next to Aleksandir's figure. "Just a little tired..." the canine blinked at the other's dashing features. Aleksandir was gentle, charming... something about him was so -- he stopped his thoughts short, placing a hand against his own head and staring at the street.

Dear god, he had no idea he would end up reacting to the other in such a way, it was scary...

The wolf breathed in and out quietly, nails running across the dusty sidewalk.

His injured hand rested on his knees, safe and gentle. "I'm sorry Alek..." he whimpered, ears flattening. "I'm making you uncomfortable..."

He knew by now he was... the other wasn't trying to show it, but Nagendra could come to a conclusion with the small hints he was getting out of Aleksandir's attitude towards him. "I'm really not trying too..."

Alek blinked and raised a slender, perfectly shaped brow. Glancing down towards Nagendra as he sat down on the side walk, he shook his head and gave a very small chuckle.

Pushing off of the street light, he moved to stand directly infront of Nagendra before crouching, placing one knee on the ground along with one hand to balance him out.

"No, Nagendra. You're not making me uncomfortable..." He said softly, offering that warm, charming grin as he shook his head slightly.

"I'm making me uncomfortable," The wolf started, pausing, thinking how odd that must sound, "You see, I keep.. thinking about things I normally never would." He explained before giving a soft sigh.

"It's odd, and I don't want to say it... but I can't stand by and let you actually believe that you're the one making me uncomfortable," He breathed softly, lowering his voice just slightly.

"I find you attractive, which... is something that isn't normal for me, but I do... and my thoughts keep tracing it over and over again, and I'm nervous... meaning there's something I want to do, but I have no idea what it is.." He frowned softly, not being able to figure himself out.

"Don't worry. I'll calm down," He reached out and gently put a hand on Nagendra's shoulder, giving that charming, boyish grin once more. "I promise."

Nagendra looked confused at the explanation, his ears tweaking and perking up slightly as he breathed in. "That makes two of us a little uncomfortable at finding the other attractive. I apologize for causing so much trouble." he really didn't mean it -- and Alek did not look one bit happy to see him at this time, whether or not he was smiling like such or not.

"I--" the wolf began in a murmur, golden eyes narrowed tiredly. "..." he sighed.

"I can continue on alone if you would prefer me to..." he suggested thoughtfully, wondering if it might be what the other male really wanted. The male sighed in deeply.

His tail curved upward.

Sorry, sorry, sorry...

Didn't he need to apologize...?

Aleksandir chuckled softly and stood up, reaching down to pick up his brown paper bag before holding his hand down towards Nagendra, shaking his head.

"Well, then I guess it's not so embarassing and awkward now that I know you're feeling the same," He offered a more genuine grin before cocking his head to the side, floppy ears attempting to perk up, "Nonesense. I can't allow you to walk home tiredly all by yourself."

Closing his eyes for a moment, he looked back down towards Nagendra before looking up towards the sky, "This is a bad neighborhood, and I don't doubt you can handle yourself.... but I would feel guilty just knowing."

Tail swishing behind him gently, he raised a brow and waited for Nagendra. Half of the nervous feeling had slipped away, and the embarassment was completely gone.

"... If it makes you feel better, you can say your sorry as many times as you'd like and I won't mind... Just let it be known that whatever you're apologizing for, it's already forgiven," Alek said gently.

In all honesty, he was still happy to see Nagendra, he just had to get over that embarassment-- even though half of his nervous feeling still remained, he was feeling much better.

He looked confused. "Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry...?" the male questioned with wide eyes. He grinned, hopping to his feet gently and lifting his bags up off the pavement.

"... Alek..." the male's ears flattened again. "I adore you're company -- but I want you to know that if you feel uncomfortable you should... tell... me... and of course you have every right to leave..." he always hated being alone... but the decision was not his to make.

Nagendra blinked, sighing in quietly. "I don't like people this way Aleksandir." he murmured quietly, closing his eyes.

I... really... don't. and yet here he was... adoring the other male to the fullest a person could like another.

He really didn't need to faint right now -- he really didn't. Maybe when he got inside his house, but not right here. The wolf's forced his eyes open, taking a first step that felt somewhat wobbly -- he ignored it... figuring that he wasn't really taking unsteady steps, he just felt like it. Then, he wasn't sure.

God he hated when he got nervous. The male really needed to think more and not walk with closed eyes -- but then he would have never met Alek... the thought made him surprisingly sad.

He loved Alek being around -- to the fullest... but he hated making the other male feel in any way unhappy.

Alek put a hand on his hip and grinned as the other questioned his apologies before hopping to his feet and lifting his bags. God, he was adorable...

"Nagendra, you haven't made me uncomfortable... but if you do, I shall be sure to tell you, but that doesn't mean I'm leaving," He said as he closed one eye in a wink, stuck out his tongue, and reached out to lightly poke the other wolf's nose.

"I don't like... men this way, but I do with you... and I adore your company to the fullest of my ability," He said with a grin before reaching out and gently taking Nagendra's arm to steady him.

"You're a little unbalanced," He stated in soft concern.

It was completely unusual for Alek to grow so fond of anyone, female or male, so quickly. It took him at least a year to grow fond of his own brother.

"Come on, let's get you home now," He said with a grin as he took a step backwards, hand still lightly resting against Nagendra's elbow.

Alek wasn't sure why, but the thought of having to leave Nagendra when he got him home, and the thought that it may be a long time before they ever saw each other again, made him feel sorrow.

"You should come down to the beach sometime..." He suggested softly, looking towards the other wolf male with gentle eyes.

Nagendra looked confused, but smiled when the other complimented in such a way on his company. The male stumbled forward gently, wrapping his arms in a friendly manner around Alek's waist. "Thank you..." he whispered.

He hated even the slightest idea of blacking out right here -- he may have been comfortable, but he wanted to be awake for the time he was with Aleksandir... he really did. Embracing the male was something Nagendra hadn't expected himself to do -- but he did it nonetheless. Maybe he should think more often before he acted...? Like just moments ago with the stop sign, and now with the embracing. Though... hugging was much more enjoyable than running into a cold pole, he did admit.

The red-head stayed on his feet as he quietly considered pulling away, his mind then suggested to him the small possibility that the only thing holding him up right now could be the other wolf.

His nerves were calming, and the male thanked the gods and goddesses. He loved Aleksandir being here, with all his heart, truly he did.

"You're quite welcome, Nagen--" Alek lost his train of thought as the other stumbled forward. Feeling arms wrap around his waist in a friendly manner, he smiled and lightly.

Taking a few moments to think on what he should do, the proper behavior... he shoved it away-- what did proper have to do with a hug, anyway?

Absolutely nothing. Smiling more genuinely, warmly, he lightly draped his arms over Nagendra's shoulders and rubbed his back softly. It was... nice, this hug.

Before he never would have even thought about hugging another male, but... Nagendra was different, and he was really enjoying the friendly little embrace.. it was comforting and... oddly enough, he felt safe for the time being in the other's arms.

Lightly kissing the top of the other wolf male's head, he grinned and raised a brow, still rubbing his back softly. "Perhaps it would be best if I flagged down a cab?" He inquired softly, truely enjoying the moment and... reveling in it. This was a nice moment, calm and soothing... This probably wouldn't be the last hug between him and Nagendra. "Here," He whispered softly as he pulled off his zip-up jacket, wrapping it around Nagendra's shoulders before hugging him back once more.

Nagendra was surprisingly relaxed. It was only a moment ago he was worrying himself dead, and now here he was... embracing Aleksandir with the strength he could manage. He smiled at the kiss pecked upon his skull, and nodded his head in agreement to the inquiry. Maybe he did need a cab...? Okay... not maybe, he just needed one.

He male's eyes widened when the coat was draped around him and he slowly nuzzled into Alek's chest. What he had said about respect earlier -- dear god did he mean it.

The canine's orange-tinted ears twitched in a gentle beat and he enjoyed the warm tempature Aleksandir's body and coat were giving him after he was in the cold for such an amount of time.

He was content...

Nagendra wasn't the type to embrace another male... not even a child. Not Wyatt, as childish as he was, and not... anyone. He had grown up in such a way that hugging was an awkward thing for him.

The male had no real parents... just the couple that had taken him in, and he earned his keeping with them by cleaning just like he did now with Jamie. Though Jamie didn't have Nagendra in his residence to clean, it was what the male was accustomed to doing.

He felt awkward making the space between him and Alek thinner and thinner, but when he had finally embraced the other -- he felt fine. Better than fine, actually.

He was quickly attached -- and quick-to-like-someone wasn't something that often happened to Nagendra. Aleksandir just happened to be a completely and utterly special case when it came to the wolf's attention.
