(( XDD It's hard giving long replies to short replies. hehe. ))
Kari glanced over at Hasidi as if looking for some help explaining, but quickly turned back to her friend. She made a point of looking Sawia in the eyes, though it was hard to just spit it out. The pink cheetah always worked so hard at making people happy, and offering an explanation for one thing that probably wasn't the happiest of news was hard.
"I want to stay with Hasidi, but he's a lion," she frowned, flattening her own ears, "I don't think anyone really wanted this land to have lions in it, especially Laio."

Sawia found it hard understanding why Hasidi couldn't just stay here. What was wrong with lions? But if Laio said no, that was the final word on the matter. Sawia had never personally talked to the captain, and as far as the young cheetah knew she was nice enough. But something about her -- her authority, perhaps? -- intimidated Sawia enough to never want to get on the wrong side of her.
"Do what you need to, Kari," she said finally, eyeing Hasidi too, as if to tell him to take care of her friend. "I'll miss you, but if you think you'll have a better life out there, that's what you need to do."

Kari could sense the slight confusion when she explained her reasoning. Needless to say, she didn't see anything wrong with lions either- in fact, she had more lion friends than cheetah friends. She sighed sadly.
"I'd like to stay," she said in a rather sad tone, "But it'll be better this way. I don't want anyone to be uncomfortable.." She looked over at Hasidi.

Hasidi sat quietly as they spoke and each word grated on a part of him deep down. He was forcing the female he loved away from a friend that she loved and it was not by choice. He wished with his entire soul that he could stop her from making her decision.
"Please...please don't do this if you don't want to," he spoke to Kari but his eyes locked with Sawia's. He wanted this new cheetahess to reason with his love, to tell her it was okay to stay...if that is what she felt. Laio was going to forever be in Hasidi's head, a nagging little voice that would make him hurt, he felt it as he felt the pain in his chest.
"I..I want you to come, but if you think you want to stay, any little part..maybe.."

(( (o^^)7 aye aye. ))
Kari looked from Sawia to Hasidi sadly. This was hard for her, part of her wanted to stay and part of her wanted only to say that's what she wanted. She always was trying to please others, and it was backing her into a hole now. Her eyes went to the ground, having no where else to look while Hasidi looked to Sawia for help.
"Hasidi," she sighed, trying to figure out what to say. It took her a moment, and then she breathed deeply before answering, "Hasidi, part of me wants to stay here but all of me wants to stay with you. A-and unless you don't want me to, I'm going to go with you and see the sea."

"What ever feels right in your heart, my..my love, if you wish to stay her with Sawia and your friends..then go ahead," his heart ached thinking that she might choose to stay here, but his heart would ache more if he caused her pain my taking her away.
"It's all up to you, if you want I'll give you some space," pausing he added, "And Sawia, I didn't mean for this to be an awkward goodbye, I hope that Kari makes a good decision, and I hope that you don't think badly of me.
