Well, Naruto has never really felt love and compassion from anyone (Sure, you might say Sakura and Sasuke give him that...but...I don't think so...Sasuke back-stabbed Naruto and Sakura is constantly making him feel bad) so I think Hinata will show him that love he's always longed for...that acceptance and that acknowledgment he's always wanted from everyone. And as for Hinata...Naruto will help her open up and become more confident in herself allowing her to show everyone what she's really made of.

Watashi wa Hyuuga Hinata desu... I think they just really balance each other out...And I don't see what Hinata would do without Naruto...I mean, he is her total confidence and all. And I'd love it if Naruto found out there was someone who he doesn't need to impress, someone who has liked him all along, and likes him just for who he is. As for NaruSaku...I really don't see it happening....For one, its really unoriginal (main boyxmain girl) Two, I see them more as sibilings...three, What happens to Hinata if she sees Naruto with Sakura?? Man...I most definitely do NOT want to see a VERY depressed Hinata.

I think naruhina are a very cute couple, hinata has a crush on naruto and he doesnt notice, Hinata would be very good to naruto and she would support him, and naruto would make hinata more detirmend and help her confidence, she would also become a better ninja 3nodding smile

well hinata loves naruto very much and does almost everything to be with him.
And naruto likes(loves) hinata somwhere deep in his hart.

Well, I personally think that they bring out the best in each other. When Hinata sees that Naruto doesn't let anything or anyone bring him down, she sees that she has the courage to do that too. And when Naruto sees Hinata, he sees someone that he can care for and love. And, they look just so darn cute together! 4laugh

Naruto and Hinata are perfect for each other. Naruto is a loud obnoxious ninja with a fox demon living inside his body, and Hinata is a quiet angel with deep eyes. What's not to get about the two of them getting together. I also have a very personal reason. I am like Naruto. I even have an obsession with Ramen. My gf is like Hinata. She's very quiet unless someone is in trouble.

In regards to canon, I do agree with everyone here when they state that Naruto and Hinata complete each other personality-wise. I'm not going to delve into estimating Kishimoto's plans for a shipping, but I will say that, given the maturity that Naruto has obtained, it is possible for Naruto and Hinata to develop a relationship. I also agree with the statements saying that Sakura would not fit well with Naruto without serious repercussions to the storyline (and serious blows to Kishimoto's reputation as a story-writer). There is nothing I could add here that has not already been said.
In regards to fanfiction, NaruHina is a very good pairing choice to develop a storyline upon. There are so many variables between the two that would make any well-written story a good one. For example, how would her family react to her relationship (friendship or otherwise) with Naruto? How would Hinata react to the Kyuubi inside Naruto? How would they spend time with one another if not during a mission? I can go on, but it would only lengthen my post more than it already is.
Plus, in both arenas, it is a very cute pairing. But, you all already know that, don't you?
