Ramajan only barely made it out of his chair before it poofed out of existance. Ramajan had grown up in what he considered a "normal" family - pure human stock and no funny business. Looked like that part of his life was over if even teachers were going to wave around spells and the like.

So, dragons and castles? Seemed the teach might also be a fantasy nut, not that there was anything wrong with that. Despite his feelings of magic in the real world, he did enjoy an occational book of such things for leisure reading. Looked like he'd gotten a dragon.

He came to stand beside Arahila and wondered to what sides the final few students would belong. "Good morning, Arahila," he said when he came beside her. He felt it a shame he couldn't partner with the person he so far felt the most comfortable around, which considering that he barely knew her that comfort level was about the one he shared with acquantances.

He was actually looking forward to this exercise. Mirrors didn't speak, so they weren't really acting in Ramajan's book. He had a lot to learn about acting apparently.

Suka caught himself as the chair vanished beneath him without warning. You'd think they'd give us some warning... He straightened himself up, turning the paper over. A dragon stared back at him. "It figures." He muttered to himself, as he made his way over to the opposite side of the room from the 'castles.'

He made note that at least he wasn't the only male, nor the only one with a tail. Though he was sure that he was an oddity amongst the others. His tail flicked as he leaned against the wall, attempting to figure out which of the others he'd be paired with.

Aaron grinned as he saw the students split up. There were going to be a few changes if things weren't even, but that was life. He'd gotten a roster with student images next to names, so he knew pretty much who was who. It saved the pain of having to go through the rigmarole of trying to memorize names and the like.

"Alright! So the castles are Shima and Levana. Dragons are Arahila, Ramajan, and Suka. Kayla, will you please join the castles? Lyane, head over to the Dragons. I'll hang around the Castles to make the teams somewhat even."

He waited for a moment, and thought, figuring out who to pair with who.

"Shima and Lyane, you two are partners. Levana and Arahila, please partner up. Suka and Kayla, you two are together. And that leaves myself and Ramajan. Let's take our places."

(( Wait, did it vanish suddenly? I thought it meant the teacher wanted to move all the chairs.. So they vanished? owo;;;; ))

Lyane? She was easy to spot, considering she was one of the only girls left, Shima hadn't met yet.

Suka .. Lyane.

Taking note of the names, Shima glanced over at the blond haired girl, her eyes scanning over thoughtfully. What kind of girl was Lyane? At the welcoming party, Lyane had agreed euthusastically with the party.

it was most likely Shima might like her. It seemed as if all the girls at kaleido stage was exceptionally pretty in their own way.

Somehow.. Lyane striked her as a fun fun girl. Walking over to her, Shima didnt even pause before talking to her.

" I guess you're my partner? " Shima questioned curiously, her hand brushing away a few stray strands of hair hanging over her face.

Arahila jumped alittle when Ramajan spoke to her but she recovered quickly and smiled back at him. "And good morning to yourself." Before she could say anymore though the teacher had stepped in and paired them up.

Levana...oh, that must be...the one with silver hair and the horns...

Her next thought was to wonder if the horns and tail were real or props...not that it would matter much either way. Arahila may be 100% human but she had grown up around her fair share of odd things and creatures. Demon would just be one more to add to the list if they were real. Sighing softly since she really didn't feel like doing much today she walked over to the girl she assumed to be Levana and smiled. "I'm Arahila. Very nice to meet you."

Ramajan smiled back to Arahila, he didn't have time for anything other than that before their teacher began to speak. He had hoped for more introductions among the students, but he did try to watch and see if anyone reacted to their name to give at least some clue.

He blinked in surprise, looking quickly around the room to see that sure enough they were odd-numbered, and then shrugged. Paired with the teach? This could be good or bad... depending on how closely he had to watch all the other students, he might not be able to watch Ramajan as closely. Or he may simply focus all of his attention - and thus critisism - on his student partner.

He walked to the teacher. "Well, I'm Ramajan," he said, thinking that perhaps the teacher already knew who was who if he had their files.

Levana glanced around and saw a girl sporting blue hair walking in her direction. This was Arahila she assumed. With a smile at the other girls introduction, Levana held out a hand. "And I am Levana. It's nice to meet you."

She glanced around as other introduced themselves to their partners before turning back to Arahila. "Have you ever played this game before? I've never heard of it but then again, I've never taken any drama courses either. Being a gymnist doesn't require someone to take acting classes." She shrugged as she waited for the instructor to give details on exactly what they were suppose to do and when to start. An excercise on mimicking your partner couldn't be all that hard.

Arahila smiled a little...at least her partner seemed nice. That was good. She shook her head slightly, letting her hair follow it. "I've never played this game exactly. I've done some similar things since I'm a contorshinist and you need to be able to copy your instructor...but not this exact game. Guess we'll both learn something new." Arahila still felt slightly out of place among all the gymnists, even though she was attemtping to train herself on some other equipment so she would have more to offer, her strength lay in her flexability, not her coordination or physical strength.

Looking around at the other groups she figured that she couldn't have been matched up with anyone better. The lavendar haired girl seemed nice and all but she was just so...outgoing that Arahila wasn't sure if she would feel comfartable around her.

((@_@ sorry. I need to remind myself to check in here more often...))

Lyane was about to flip over her sheet of paper when the teacher told her to stand on the dragon's side. The girl shook her head. Why was she so slow in deciding the group for herself? Of course, she knew the reason, for she was pretty much mesmorized by Levana's horns...which she had a feeling that the girl was unconfortable to be stared at. Lyane was never really taught that staring at others was rude, for she was free to stare and question others all she wanted back at home.

Slumping herself to the dragon's side, Lyane peaked at her paper. Well, it really made no difference anyways, as a large and scary looking dragon was shown on her sheet of paper. So I'm guessing we are the antagonist here? Lyane shrugged to herself. It made no difference for her. If she was an antagonist, she'd be a good (and by that she meant very much evil) antagonist.

Looking around her group, she spotted another strange being with...horns. Lyane mentally scratched her head and wondered if horns are the fashion of the day. The boy was also dressed in an unfamiliar costume, the one similar to the dress that her brother wore on a special occasion. She watched as the boy stood near the wall of the classroom, focusing on the horns and the large tail behind him. The girl gave a little jump when Shima started talking to her. Lyane turned to look at the violet haired girl, a little embarrassed that she was caught off guard.

"Y-yeah...if the teacher says so." Lyane smiled for the sake of friendliness, although her smile looked more like a grin as her wonders from Suka's horns faded a little too slowly.

Shima tried to stifle some giggles at Lyane's slow reaction.

" My name's Shima. Got it memorized? " Shima said cheerfully and softly, her mood cheerful since she had gotten her sleep. Five minutes was valuable. Shima glanced around, at Levana, waving. Her eyes looked past at Ramajan, to Arahila. It seemed as if Arahila .. was busy.

" So when does this game start? " Shima wondered aloud, her eyes fixed on the teacher for a moment. Being paired up with a teacher. Shima had never heard of any game quite like that, and it must be uncomfortable with a teacher of all people. What happened if you made a bad impression?

Glancing in Lyane's direction, where she had previously been looking, shima shrugged the boy's strange appearence off. Dragon horns and a tail? You could do worse. Like being a fairy. That was quite hard to believe.

" So, from all appearances you seem like a very cool person to talk with. No flattery intented. " Tuckign her hair being her ear, Shima wondered if they would have to be standing up the whole time or what? Not that she minded but yeah.

Lyane laughed also at her own reaction. Still feeling a little embarrassed and funny, she nodded to Shima. "I got that down. I'm Lyane, by the way."

Hands in her pockets, Lyane started looking around while Shima's eyes went elsewhere for a little while. In her mind she hummed the pop music she had been listening to last night---although the song didn't seem to be as good as yesterday. Oh well. Nothing is good anymore now that it's stuck in you. Lyan sighed inwarly. She liked the song a lot, and had spent most of the evening before learning it. Now it was simply impossible for her to forget.

Standing beside Shima, Lyane shuffled around on her feet. It was never in her nature to stay still. Her brother once wondered if she was possessed by a wild rabbit or some small creature with quick metabolism. It made her laugh. At the same time, it seemed to her that her brother's claim was quite valid. The girl sweat easily, have a high energy for everything, and tend to get hungry a lot of the times. It was a good thing that Lyane knew something about body health---she'd be really chubby if she wasn't by now.

Shima's soft voice once again rang in her ears. Lyane turned to the other girl---she wasn't really looking at her, but her words made Lyane feel good. Lyane smiled.

"You too. I still remember the party you talked about back at the intro meet."

The instructor smiled across at Ramajan.

"I'm Aaron. Your teacher. Don't worry, I'm not that strict."

He looked over at the others, and waited for them to assume the correct positions for the game.

"Alright - now, everyone! Pay attention, and watch me and Ramajan. We're going to start this, and you follow along with your partner."

He picked up the boy's arm, and held it up.

"Now follow my hands with your hands. Try that."

He started moving his hands slowly, waiting for Ramajan to follow.

The corners of Ramajan's mouth quirked into a grin, he didn't know if the teach was being truthful or just trying to be the "cool and not-so-strict" sort of person since it was the first day, but it helped ease his mind nonetheless.

Not hard so far... Ramajan wondered if they'd trade off being in "charge" or who mirrored who, or if they were supposed to make a ore subtle switch at some point. He decided to just stick to following for now.

He kept his eyes firmly on the theach's hands, mostly because he felt eyes turned to him now and that tended to make him nervouse when he didn't know it was going to happen already. Planned performances were fine and all, but he felt the center - at least half the center - of attention all too suddenly.

" First time, somebodys thrown back the compliment. " Shima grinned. "Usually it's simply accepted. " .. Lyane. So Shima knew alot of trainees in this class but not quite all of them. She didnt really meet Suka, but that wasnt important at the moment. Shima was about to ask a question to Lyane, but was interupted by the teacher.

They had to mirror their partner? How .. awkward. Shima wasnt sure about the concept of this game, or what it was supposed to mean, but oh well.

Shima glanced directly at the teacher, her eyes watching him, barely watching his partner. She awaited further instructions from the teacher.
