Mteuli paused, lifting his head to catch the sound of her voice. At her words he turned and went back just a few steps, turning halfway around the sharp, half hidden corner. "I apollogize, it's not exactly easy to see, is it? This way," He nodded his head with a warm smile and started heading down the path again, although this time he was careful to be sure she followed. The entrence to the pride was secret and secure, not because they didn't like visitors but because that was how it was formed. And it suited them rather well.

Latifu's ears perked up as she saw the priest's head peek out from seemingly no where. She picked up the pace to reach him, where she could now see how the path was laid out, and how it was hidden. She gave a little gasp, and gingerly padded her way through, interested and fascinated on how it was....just. Just there.
She wasn't sure on how far the path would be, and kept behind Mteuli, quietly and slowly. What was this place like, where Bakari and his family lived? Along with all these other lions that she was sure to meet?

Mteuli couldn't help but smile to himself. It was always wonderful, bringing someone new in and seeing the look on their faces. Soon the trail opened up, the rock walls falling away to give room for the vibrant jungle, and the river dipped in a few small waterfalls before continuing into the distance among the foliage. "Well, here we are. Welcome to our home," she purred, giving the landscape an affectionate look. This was obviously where his heart belonged, no matter where he traveled.

Latifu's face glowed as she emerged from the path to see the lands as to where these lions lived. She couldn't quite believe the lands that were behind the large walls of rock, and silently took it all in for a moment. She grasped at words to speak, thankful that she was accepted here, and felt warm inside.
She noticed that Mteuli said 'our' home, something that might mean more to her then Mteuli was even aware of. She would keep that to herself, though. "Thank you, Mteuli."
