"Mmmm...I sense a bit of weary from my responce. I assure you, you have nothing to worry about..." 'For now...' he added in his mind.
Nodding his head, he smiled lightly. "Yes, but there are somethings you can't help but disturb..." Takeing a few steps closer to her, his eyes lidded lightly. "Somethings just pull you in and you become fascinated with them I suppose....but you are right. There are some things that should not be disturbed..."
His tail gave a few flicks as he scanned the surrounding area. Then his eyes returned to her. "And I would be honored if you did..."

Yei felt that familiar tingle run down her spine as she listened to the soquili, his tone almost sultry as he played on her words and pointed out to her in a gentle manner that she couldn't protect everything. It was the same tone that Paramekia used to belittle her but when it came from this stallion she couldn't help but shudder and feel as though she was but a young filly again.
"Yes..." Clearing her throat, Yei attempted to regain her composure and calmly shifted her weight until she was in a more comfortable position. Provided she could given an air of confidence, then no one would think that she was slightly overwhelmed by the appearance of this particular garbed figure.
"But in disturbing them you should at least try to restore them to their original condition as far as possible." Shaking her head she lifted a smile onto her lips and canted her head to the side, "Where would you like to go first?"

Mmmm, yes. Come closer little fly. He raised an eyebrow at her responce and gave a soft chuckle, shakeing his head. "Yes, but also by disturbing somethings...you can make them even better than what they were originally. Even if that is not the case, there really would be no way to return something to the way it was before you disturbed it without something being off about it...for good or worse."
His eyes scanned the land around them another time. Takeing in the sight of it for a moment before his gaze landed upon her again. "Anywhere you'd like to take me first. It does not matter to me where you start with showing me around as I'm sure we'll get to everything you wish to show me eventually."

She chose to ignore his response and instead, turned her attentions to her surroundings as she debated upon the various locations that she deemed to be appropriate. There were the lakes, the clearing, the mountains...the groves within the forest - choosing one to begin with was very difficult but she opted for one of the more obscure.
Without offering any explanation she gave a small snort and proceeded towards the clearing. Heading across it at a reasonably swift pace with her gaze trained upon the tribal Graveyards in the distance. They were a stone throw away from the Kawani Village itself, but following the recent attacks on them, there had been a slight menace and tales of violent spirits surrounding it.
Perhaps beginning with a rather 'juicy' sight would peak his interest...

As she took off, both his eyebrows lifted slightly and his eyelids fell half way over his eyes. But after a second, he flicked his tail and pursude after her, wondering where exactly it was that she was heading.
His cape danced behind him as he crossed the clearing, a small breeze lifting it up before it settled back down against his back. Ahead, he could see a place that seemed as such more of a graveyard than anything else. The strange stones and statues placed here and there. Charms and markings on the trees around it. Interesting....maybe....perhaps...a new place for gathering together some Mamlucks.
One corner of his mouth curled a bit as he smirked lightly. His tail lashing back and forth as he continued to follow. What luck, she had decided to show him a place where he had easy access to dead bodies that might still have some sort of life in them enough to raise them.

She refused to walk through it, it was a matter of principle following the attacks upon the stones and monuments within it. She wasn't prepared to disturb it or enrage the spirits or the Kalona any further than they already were... Instead, she simply took to surveying the destroyed and vandalised headstones with interest, she knew what had caused them and it still interested her a little.
"Not long ago, the graveyard was subject to the greatest and most brutal attack the Kawani have experienced to date." She began, flicking her gaze towards the male briefly. She had taken note of the smirk but instead of enquiring after it she simply chose to ignore it, she would simply keep an eye on him in future.
"Hell born creatures, for more evil than the Kalona descended upon our lands and destroyed what even the kalona deemed sacred, deemed to be their land." Pursing her lips she gave a nod to the various vandalised grave stones.
"...Not very nice creatures but the graveyard seems to have been increasingly active with discontented spirits as of late."

Mozen stood by her side, gazeing upon the ruined head stones and monuments that the two leggers had constructed on this sacred land of theirs. As she spoke, his ears perked lightly as he listened to the tale. His eyes growing dark for a second as he nodded.
"Hmmm..." He didn't know what theses Kalona were, as he had never met them or heard of them before. But if they were beastly enough to call this place home, well, he may just have to look into them more. They might be a challenge that might compramise things.
He turned his head lightly as she spoke of something else. Something even more evil than these Kalona. Interesting enough, the Kalona seemed to have rivals for dominance in this land. Out with the old, in with the new he supposed.
"I see....very interesting. I'm surprised though that the two leggers don't have someone who great spiritual power trying to sooth and calm these spirits so that they would return to their hallowed ground...."

"As far as I'm aware, they do." Yei replied gently, turning to gaze at the stallion. She had always been of the opinion that it was polite to look at someone while she spoke as opposed to glancing elsewhere, it was a sign of honesty. "A shaman of sorts, but it is difficult to sooth the spirits if they are constantly disturbed by the dark presence of a Skinwalker." She continued.
A sigh escaped her lips and she briefly shook her head to move the long lock of mane from her eyes. She'd never met the skinwalkers but the stories and descriptions were enough to make her shudder and swear that should she encounter one, she would sooner try to smite the being as opposed to run from it and risk it encountering a more vulnerable soul.
"However, I believe it is the duty of the Kalona to sooth and guide the spirits to the afterlife as well and due to the disruption caused by their new rivals it is nigh on impossible to do that." She could only make an assumption, she was hardly a Kalona or a shaman herself and therefore, couldn't go into much detail but it was as good a guess as any.
"Interesting story, no?" She mused before flicking her gaze northwards towards where the shores lay, "And it gets better."

"I see. Well...if this to be true...then the Kalona, as you say it's their duty to sooth and guide these souls, are not doing their job. So then it is up to the two leggers to do their best I suppose..." His tail gave a few, quick thoughtfull flicks side to side.
Nodding his head lightly, he looked at the burial grounds once more before turning to look at her. "Better? Then do go on. I'm interested to see as much of this land as I can and hear the tales about it all...."

Nodding partially out of agreement and partially out of acknowledgement of his words, she turned and began to head north towards the beach, following the beaten tracks that the two-leggers most often used to reach the area. All in all, upon the shores it was slightly warmer than it was in the mountains and she gave a whicker of pleasure as she began to recover at least some of her lost body heat.
Nevertheless, her strides were long and her pace reasonably swift and within a few minutes they stood atop a slope that looked down upon the beach. Not surprisingly, the beach stretched on for quite some time but her eyes were focused primarily on the large ships and the colony that now bustled about and tended to its own business accordingly - the foreign two leggers.
"Shortly after these two-leggers arrived, the Skinwalkers appeared. They have brought nothing but Chaos and yet seemed completely unaware of it, almost unconcerned if you will." She shook her head, a disapproving expression upon her features, "The raccoons say they are cursed, and that the way they treat the forest angers the spirits so much that they retaliate by punishing us in the hope some will react - we never do though."
Clearing her throat, she canted her head and focused on a Soquili that was tethered within the nearby colony, "The way they treat us is very different too, we are forced to wear metal in our mouths and strange leather on our backs for their satisfaction. I have yet to find out how the foreign soquili still speak but they do seem nice..."

He followed closely behind her, keeping up withb her pace easily. As they reached the top of the slope, he looked down to the beach. Gazeing at the beauty of the ocean. A warm, salty breeze touched his face gently. Much warmer than what it was back where they were.
Mozenrath's eyes followed the shore line untill they reached the colony of two leggers. The Soquili teathered like that....how....inhumane. And yet interesting all in the same. He himself had never worn such strange adornments as they did...and planned to never do so.
At her words about these suppisodly new two leggers that appeared, he turned his head to look at her. "Have you ever thought that perhaps it wasn't these pale looking two leggers who brought upon the appearance of the Skinwalkers? That maybe there is some other reason besides spirits of the forest being angered? Perhaps it was one of the two leggers among the native tribes that meddled with something they shouldn't have and now everyone is paying the price for it...." He left her with that thought for the moment as he looked back to the small colony.
"Those things look fairly uncomfortable to me...but I guess it's something those Soquili were born into and have been trained to wear, so they are used to it. Talking around it probably wouldn't be too difficult...but I'm sure they don't wear those things in their mouths all the time. They would get dirty and I know I wouldn't want something dirty like that in my mouth all the time...." He was curious about these strange contraptions. What were they used for? How did they work? Could they be re-produced and used for other things? All these thoughts running through his mind he almost got lost in his own thoughts were it not for the sounds of shouting comeing from the two leggers colony near the shores.

"Perhaps they don't, but each time I see them they have them on." She explained, her rpely brief as she shifted her attention to the shouting that appeared to be coming from the shore. They really were terribly noisy creatures sometimes but something had evidently disturbed them or peaked their interest.
She quirked a brow, she could see nothing that would interest them coming from the sea. There were no strange clouds and bar themselves, she couldn't see any peculiar soquili lurking near by, so what had caused such a fuss?
"Hm?" Canting her head to the side briefly she gave a whicker and began to move towards the encampment. If there was one thing she couldn't help sometimes, it was being nosey and she wanted to find out what was wrong...

Mozenrath's eyebrows lifted slightly as she made her way towards the colony. She had spoke of such I'll things of these two leggers and yet she was moveing towards them? How odd indeed.
Giveing a small snort, he followed after her. Can't let her go alone really. Besides, if there was trouble perhaps he could stir up a bit more. But Yei, well, she seemed like the kind that was a bit too nosey and had to investigate. She might get captured by these two leggers and then how else would he figure out where everything was.
Picking up his pace a bit so that he was walking next to her, he looked at her out of the corner of his eye. "So why so interested in these two leggers troubles if you think they bring such chaos and misery to this land? I'm sure they're very capable of handling whatever it is themselves..."

"Would you honestly trust a threat to be left to it's own devices?" Yei enquired in return, her brow raised to match his expression. She might have spoken ill of these two-leggers but due to her upbringing (very little of which she remembered) she was still compelled to guard the vulnerable if she could do so - that, and being aware of the risks presented by them meant that she would be able to give warning in advance if need be.
Drawing near however, she arched her neck slightly and gave a snort, drawing herself up to her full height (which was suitably tall) in order to present herself as a more imposing figure and if she was honest, at sixteen hands that could be relatively imposing.
Still, her ears swivelled round and her eyes remained honed as she attempted to discover where the chaos and disruption was occuring. As curious as she was, if it was a hazard then she would stomp on it now before it even reached her village!

He persed his lips slightly before blowing a slow breath from between his lips. Not really haveing an answer for her question, so he let it roll off his back.
As they got closer to the commotion, he could see a lot of the two leggers gathered in one place and wondered what in the world was exactly going on. Lifting his head a bit, he tried to see over their heads but he couldn't exactly get a clear view of the situation. "I wonder what exactly is going on to make them gather like that..."
Giveing his long tail a quick sweep behind him, he kept at Yei side for the moment. Just incase something, though he wasn't sure of possibly what, happened and for some reason these two leggers turned on them.
