Hehe, I'm in Grade 9 and I've been interested the parnormal and just psychics in general for a long time. Just recently, I've become really in to it and now, I'm currently learning how to go to the etheric plane, with an Out-Of-Body experience.

astral projection =3 was doing it my whole life until I finally found out what it was I had been doing...

And there's a thread of mine in the learning thing if you want to know how to do it and some advice/stories of it.

I just got a tarot deck for my 21 birthday but it's been right every time i used it so I guess that's a knack too? Lol

I started with plants and healing, an interest I probably got from my grandmother when I was very young, when I was about 13 I got into divination; scrying and runes mostly.

I never heard of sliders... thats cool! Though I'd say it gets annoying at times

I don't now what its called, but when I was little I went to a theme park taht I had never been to before. But the strange thing was that I knew where EVERYTHING was and in what directions to go. I had never had any dreams about it or thought about, it was just that I knew the place like I had been there many times before.

A couple of years later, after I got into high school, I got a book to read about how to scense what my friends, specifically one of my depressed friends, moods and feelings. It took me a while to finish reading it, but I finally tried it. I was sitting in my bedroom and everyone was asleep. It was probably midnight and I was in the dark. I calmed my sences and pictured my friends in my brain and was asking one question. "what is ____ feeling right now?" What I got back was "sad, crying, dolls, broken heart, glass, and opened doors." I asked my friend about it the next day and she said that she was crying and thinking about adding another mark on her leg with glass. So other things were said that were correct and I was amazed. I was also feaked out a little and haven't really tried it since.

I got Tarot cards, but I don't have a nack for it.

This is an odd question to answer, because I never had something just suddenly trigger any particular abilities.

Ever since I was young (about three years old) I've had starnge dreams--you could call them precog dreams--and I would get frustrated when another person around me was feeling very emotional. It became a part of my life, though not until I was about twelve did I really understand things. My mother had an interest in the zodiac and those sorts of things such as throwing cards (gong he fat choy or some other asiatic thing), and this had kept my general interest alive for some years until I finally decided to look for the 'more' I always thoght was there.

Being empathic had always been a part of me, I did not label it or consider it a nuisance, as other people who claim the ability have. I found a website on Meditation and the Chakras when I turned thirteen, and everything started coming afterwards; auras, energy manipulation, palmistry, and the like. It all came very easily to me--as most things in my life I had tried to learn had--so I inquired about it at family gatherings to my older relatives, and in every part of my family someone had had some sort of unusual gift.

I don't believe that someone has to come from a 'psychic' family to have/gain these abilities, but I think it makes it easier. One who wants to understand these things in greater depth should start with the old philosophies on energies, chakras, etc. so they do now practice blindly. Finding someone with experience helps too, rather than relying only on the internet.

Chya, so in any case, there's my life story as it relates to the psychic. Since then I have become keen to my apparent skill at the healing arts such as Reiki and things related with crystals and runes. My mother has Degenerative disk disease (back problem) and short sessions often help her to be able to do things better and with less pain.
