He smiled at the young Faun "Your kind, thank you, I'm quite fond of them. Though I miss being with Hitanie, we both have duties to attend to. I can be content to just watch them from the hill tops for now" He strutted on. Nearing the meadow, though he purposely slowed "Ah... so tell me. How well to you know Feanaro... what’s he like?" He asked, a little quieter then normal. He rarely spent time with his Son, so it often disturbed him how little he knows of him. Something he knew he would come to regret. He hoped maybe he could learn a little from others.

"Well, he's a pretty nice guy. He'll make a handsome Outrider some day." She smiled kindly up at the stag, understanding why he did not know his son all that well. He couldn't, really, until Feanaro became a Corps buck. "You'll spend some time with him soon enough." Tegwen was in an oddly good mood walking alongside the prideful male, and couldn't help but offer reassuring words. "When he's a Corps." She couldn't deny he would be quite the sight when he had a handsome rack on his head, though she didn't think she'd ever be in his harem. If she ever did get in a harem, that is. At her young age, she had no desire at all to have her own young, and could hardley imagine being fought for.

nodding at her words, he continued on. indeed, he knew that his son would make an excellent Outrider, how could he not? and though he was not fond of how much time he must wait for his son to become a Corp, the time Feanaro spent with his mother was important. "well I hope you can be friends with him. his days as a Calf will end before he knows it" he paused for a moment, looking around for the best way to return the Fawn to the others.

Tegwen nodded up at the tall stag happily. "I don't get to see the other calves and fawns much, but when I run into him I'll be sure to play." She could always use a little bit of social stimulation, though it wasn't exactly her 'thing', per say. She was far more reclusive in those little fawn years than anything else. Some might sya that's not exactly healthy for a young fawn, but that's just the way she was. It wasn't that she was shy... it was just that she didn't see the need to box with the other fawns and socialize with her own age group. The hinds could be far more interesting, anyway. (And crueler, at times.. but that was okay. Teg could handle it.)
"Oh, I know where we are now. Dyani will be just over that hill by the oak tree. I can make it on my own from here. Thanks, Mister Pride." She smiled and bowed her little head some to the robust Outrider before running off in the direction of the large tree.

Pride remained silent as she spoke, comforted by her words. and slightly released when she recognized the aria and started back where she belonged. it meant he could carry on with his own duties. he inclined his head back at her, smiling at her politeness. "think nothing of it child, Herne be with you" was his bid farewell. it was a strange thought to consider... that he would probably never see that young Herla again... well such was the life of the Herla.
makeing sure she was safely there, he waisted no time. in turning back into the forest. continuing his duties as elegantly as ever.
