Peri looked up, spotting the boy's predicament and sighed. At least Nibal was growing legs now, though it would be a while longer before they got large enough (and strong enough) for him to walk. The man closed what he was reading and leaned back to watch the two boys play.
Nibal grinned, raising his arms for him to be lifted. He liked being held and getting hugs. Like the mommy of that girl he'd met, she'd even sang to him. He'd liked that. Anoki's mommy, though, was really scary. But this mommy seemed a lot like the first mommy.

Taren watched from his spot in the fort, pleased that mummy always knew what to do, he liked getting hugs and being held but only by his own adoptive mother, anyone eles picking him up was frightening. He scooted aside to allow roomfor the other boy to beset down.
Silen smiled and reached down picking up the small boy easily taking the minamal weight. She gave him a brief hug, strighening, he was cute in his own way, the large eyes and the smooth skin. "okay cutie. Down we go." She ccoed as she set him down beside Taren after a few moment.

Nibal rejoiced as Silen hugged him for a moment, then frowned just a bit as he was put down. Oh well, he'd gotten a hug, at least. And hugs were the bestest. His attention turned back to the fort they were building. Now to finish it.
Peri rolled his eyes at his adoptive son. Such an attention lover. It was almost unhealthy, but Peri figured he might outgrow such a stage... and soon.

Silen glanced over at Peri, not that she cared a huge amount but she didn't want him to be one of the god awful parents that freaked out everytime another person so much as brushed against their child. She had known far to many of them in her time. However so far no one at D-corp had struk her as the overprotective type. Looked like the man was like that as well. Good.
Taren had already started to build with the last of the toys now, he had picked up his blaket again hugging it to him with one clawed hand as he built the soft fort with the other, occasionaly bushing up the bottle glasses to see better. He glanced over at Nibal and for the first time offerd him a very shy and sheepish smile.

Nibal helped build up with the rest of the toys, grinning widely at the mole boy. This was fun! Then the boy wondered what they were going to do after they finished the stuffed animal fort.
"What n'xt?" He asked.

Taren smile widened slightly as they finished the 'fort' and he clapped his two large spade like hands together, at the question he looked over at Nibal, still with the helpless smile, of course he knew what to do now, his mummy had started reading books to him recently, adventer books, and it seemed to be an strict rule that when princes or the good guys were in their castle they had to protect it from some sort of monster or villan. He picked up his blue blanket and hugged it tightly, then pointed out at the plastic toys and animals that had been no good for the fort that were scatterd about the playroom. "protect fom mosters, or you'll get eats up." he told Nibal. Somthing of his mole nature kicked in as well, on the surface you were vunerable to prdatos with a structure around you it was safe. "Mummy. blocks." the boy demande pointing at the bag of blocks. clutching it as Silen passed it to him, he took a block ou of the bag and threw it over the wall at a plastic Dinasour, letting out a purring click of delight as it was knocked over.

Nibal looked a bit confused at Taren's explination. What monsters? He wondered about that, then wondered what the blocks were for. Maybe they would be building more things with them? Nope. He watched as the mole boy tossed the block and hit a dinosaur. Oh, those monsters.
The tadpole boy took a block and looked for a 'monster' to defend the fort from. His block sailed through the air, missing its intended target, another plastic dinosaur. "Missed..." The boy frowned, then reached for another block to aim again.

Taren frowned as well and grasped another block in his paws,, making soft weering clicks as he studied the floor gor his next target. This was actaully fun. He threw the block out towards another plastic animal, this time a large plastic tiger but it fell short.
Silen watched them, shaking her head at the imagination of small children and the games they came up with, she checked her watch, very soon it would be time for them to leave. She would stretch it out a few minues longer for her adoptive son's sake but she had an appointment soon.

The second block sailed through the air, missing its intended target and hitting Perilas' leg. The man looked up, frowning at the strike to his person.
"Oops..." Nibal blushed, ducking down in the fort to get another block. Maybe he should aim for a different target; one not so close to his adoptive parent. How about... that plastic pony over there? He stuck his tongue out, taking aim.
The block flew through the air and hit the wall with a thud. Apparently, Nibal had bad aim. Really bad aim.

Taren seemed to be having little better luck with his aim, the first it seemed had been beginners luck, lucky shot. His claws where too powerful and he didn't realise his own strength so most blocks where sailing far to far and pinging off the wall like richoteing bulllets. Several rolled back to hit the targets but not the ones he was aimming for. Stilll he let out a little happy purr each time he hit one. He looked over at nibal and smiled hidding with him when he hit the man, he didn't want him to be mad. Then he was suddenly being lifted, what? no, he wanted to play some more. Still he automaticaly clung to his mother ike a monkey while he complained softly to her.
"No, come on. No but's it's time to go home minster. I have work to do and we have to getyou somthing to eat." Taren huffed but stoped complaining. "Right now, I'm just going to set you down so you can tidy up okay no hiding?" That was what Taren was best at after all, after drawing out his solem promise she set him down now. "okay you two tidy these toys up now okay? And then say goodbye to Nibal Taren."

Peri glanced up, looking at his own watch. It was getting kind of late. "You help him clean up, Nibal."
Nibal had blinked as his friend disappeared from beside him. Oh, the woman had picked him up. The tadpole boy frowned at Peri's statement, but knocked over one of the fort's wall, grinning.
Then, getting the idea from their previous game, Nibal started tossing the stuffed animals towards the toy box. With his aim, almost all of them missed, landing at least in the general area. It was much better than trying to haul them back a few at a time.

As he was set down again he looked over at Nibal, courious at first then brightened seeiming to think this extension of their previous game inspired he grabbed a soft bunny and pitched it at the open toy box, it bounced off the wall and hit the floor. He tried again, pushing down another wall for renew amunition. Slowly with the kids knocking down the walls the forst was soon gone, all that was left a scattering of soft toys round the toy box, very few actually having landed inside.
Silen stood taapping her foot looking down at the two. "now go clean them up propaly." she scolded gently, it only needed to be gentle to have the disired effect of having Taren scampre over, however he paused seeing Nibal wasn't moving all that speedly and totterd back over to him, gently and shylytaking his hand he tugged him towards the soft toys.Trying in his own wa y to help.

Nibal grinned as the toys flew across the room. The game ended all too quickly and then they had to go over to where the toys had actually landed and start picking them up.
Nibal started his slow way across the room, only to fall when Taren gently tugged at his hand. He tugged his hand free and started making his way back across the room.
Peri watched the boy. Nibal had been carried about a lot lately, especially when they were outside. The boy hadn't been fond of the stroller he'd gotten and it was too awkward to push around the building, so half of the time he just carried the boy anyways. Nibal needed to learn to get around on his own some and in places other than their apartment.

Taren watched and shrugged as the hand was tugged free from his grip and instead watching the other boy who he had actaully grown to like considerably in the short amount of time.
He looked up at his moother as she motioned to him but for once diddent rush over to her stright away he wanted to play more.
"Come on Taren, I've got work to do dear." Silen insisted even though she was incrediably reluctant to pull him away just when he was starting to show signs of coming out of his shell. "We can come and play again okay?" Taren finnaly nodded and wonderd over to her. Silen smiled over at Peri and Nibal. She nodded towards the boy's father. "I'm sorry we didn't talk much but I'd like to get these together again somtimes if possiable. Althrough I've got to get going now. Would you mind?"

Peri grinned at the woman. "Not at all. Here's my number, just call whenever."
Nibal had started his way back across the room. He was thirsty and tired and dirty now. He wanted to go home and sleep. And take a bath. But this had been fun. He'd like to play with the mole boy again. Taren was a lot of fun to play with.
