Lice is really common. Most kids get it more then twice before they reach high school. And it doesn't mean your dirty. Lice don't like dirty hair at all, they love clean hair so if anything it means your clean. My mom was a hair dresser and used to do the lice checks at my elementary school and she would tell the people who had it to wash thier hair every other day instead of daily. For some reason lice dislike dirty hair so the more dirty you are the less likely you'll get lice. When we told this to my brother when he was dealing with it years ago he thought it would be better to never ever shower again so everytime my mom told him to take a bath or shower he'd scream 'NO! I'LL GET LICE AND DIE!'... it was funny. 3nodding
