Smiling as he accepted her hand, she decided to push her luck even further and scooted a little closer to him so she could lean her head against his shoulder. Looking up at the cloud he pointed to, she smiled brightly.
"It does," she agreed. "I can see his tail and that big puppy grin," she smiled as she lifted her arm to point out the parts she named. Falling silent she scanned the sky, then lifted her arm again to point out another one.
"That one looks like a duck. Do you see it? The head and body there," she said tracing it with her finger.

Mecca looked up and smirked again as he followed her gestures and nodded. "It does." He agreed, shifting to his side and resting his head on his hand. "Do you want to start moving things in today?" He asked ghosting a hand over her corset.

Covet smirked and pulled her eyes away from the sky to look down and watch his hand slide over her. Turning her head, she looked up into his eyes and smiled brightly.
"I would love to," she smiled. "Though maybe I should give it a good cleaning before?" she said as an afterthought, turning her head away to look at their new home. She loved the way the ivy grew wildly and climbed its walls on this side. "What do you think?" she asked, looking back up at him.

Mecca smirked and nodded, looking up as a black speck came bounding across the garden. "I can go back and arrange for some help with the furniture and you can clean if you want. How does that sound?" He asked, raising an eyebrow and braching himself as Scim launced himself at them.

"Perfect," she smiled and sat up to press a quick kiss to his lips, oblivious to the baby grim that had launched himself at them. Wincing as he landed fully on top of her in an effort to get between them for attention, she turned and helped the pup over her so that he would stop digging his claws into her in his excitement. "I think we have Scimitar's seal of approval," she smiled as she hugged him close and scratched his ears.

Mecca laughed and sat up, looking at the silly grim. "Indeed, so mutual approval all round" he said as he stroked Scim's head and stood. "Right I'll leave him with you and I'll head back into town."
He smiled again and looked around the rather rambling surroundings. "I'll see you in a couple of hours." He said walking off down the path.

Night had fallen and Covet was standing in -her- kitchen, waiting for some water to boil. There were still a few things that needed to be moved from the house on the port, but the day had been most productive in transferring things up the cliffside to their cottage. Turning away from the pot, she looked around, the oil lights and fireplaces casting a warm and inviting glow around the small living space. She was so excited she felt like dancing, but refrained. She truly could not feel any happier than she did right at that moment.

Having finished arranging his books in the smaller room he walked back out into the warm kitchen. It was like no dwelling he had lived in before. The heat from the fire made it warm and inviting. The furball curled up on a rug and Scim in his favourite chair.
Smirking to himself Mecca walked up to Covet and slipped his arms around her waist. "Not bad for a days work." He said with one of his cold smiles.

Covet smiled happily as his arms slipped around her and she reached up to drape her arms over his shoulders. "Not bad at all," she agreed, looking directly up into his cold, steel blue eyes. A coy smirk slipped over her lips as one hand found its way up into his silky hair and the other slowly slid down to trace a line down his chest.
"But I'm thinking the day isn't quite over yet," she smirked, keeping her eyes on his and arching a brow.

Mecca gave a snort of laughter and nodded pulling her against him. "Indeed." He smirked, returning her look and watching her hand trace his chest. "What are you making for dinner?" He asked peering over into the pot. "Nothing too interesting I hope."

Following his glance towards the stove, she smirked and rolled her eyes at his comment before looking back up at him. She could hear the beginnings of a boil, but was reluctant to pull away from him. "Just some pasta. Something simple and easy. Bland enough for you?" she smirked and turned to pull out of his arms and back towards the stove. "What are we going to do about the garden?" she asked as she started getting things ready.

"Sounds good* He said stepping towards a box to find some plates and cutlery. The garden. Not really something he had thought of doing things to. he quite liked it how it was. "Whatever we like I suppose." He said with a small shrug. "I was thinking of using part for some herbs, to use in spells. You can do what you wish with the rest of it. Though I rather like its charm."

Covet couldn't help but bounce at his reply. She had rather hoped he would say that. Glancing over her shoulder at him, she smiled brightly. "Then we are both in agreement," she replied. "And I love the idea of having an herb garden. I can use them for cooking as well," she continued, already scrolling through her mind all the herbs that she would like to grow. Turning around, she reached out and slipped her hand into his to get his attention.
"Thank you Mecca," she said sincerely, looking up into his eyes with a warm smile.
